Wow, I like this little game. I thought it'd be a lame peice of crap, but the funny little storyline & fun game mechanics have me hooked. It plays like it's a toned down version of Mario RGP.

Did anyone else grab a copy?

Yeah it's pretty fun and funny. I don't know how long it is, since I haven't played it too much. I laughed at the part about Peach's explosive vocabulary and Fawful is funny too.

The game is not horribly long, but long enough for someone to enjoy the story & expect at least 20 to 25 hours of gameplay.

The game should definently be marked as a "must have" on your Christmas wish list. For all you classic Mario freaks, the game does well in paying homage to many classic Mario games. I enjoyed this game greatly!

Well of course the mario series was replayed on the GBA. All Nintendo did was remake classic Mario games (SMB3 - SMW:YI) & use the "Connectability via GBA & GCN" gimmick in hopes of luring people into it's money trap. Heh, jokes aside, I liked the remakes. I have 2 of the the Mario ramkes for GBA & enjoyed the memories I had greatly.

I would have beaten it, but my save file corrupted near the end (I have a ROM since I have no money to but the real game), but my friend sent me his save file and I saw most of the ending (I had to leave in the middle of it and I never got a chance to go watch it all)

I just wish they would've had another parade like the first two....the ending was nice, I liked the music...but I also loved the parades, especially the one in Paper Mario hehe.

Yeah that was hilarious hehe. I liked when Kammy Koopa and Troopa Jr. (was that his name?) are fighting one another and they accidentally hit an angry Bowser. They came out fried far past a "well done" hehe. Oh and the only thing in terms of story that I liked better in Paper Mario was collecting the seven stars. You always have a something you need to be doing in the game, while in M&L a lot of the time you don't really have a purpose. And each chapter was different in PM, I especially liked chapters 3,5,7 and of course 8!

The Hooniversity was fun, it did take me a while to notice it was Hooniversity and not University..... I like how the Dr. Mario viruses where in there (need to find some reference to Dr. Mario in SMRPG now... Paper Mario's reference is part of the story in Chapter 5) But is it me or do the Laser Snifits there look like babies?

A week? First time I played it I beat it in 5 days hehe, I guess I was really enjoying myself. The snifits do look like babies! It looks like they have a binky (I know they're called pacifiers, just I grew up saying binkys instead)in their mouth! I liked fighting against the Chuckola Reserve! It had a sword! I also liked fighting against Popple and Rookie. (bowser hehe) I would say more, but I don't want to give out spoilers....

I thought it was funny having to fight the Chuckola Reserve. It was as original as the Wedding Cake boss in SMRPG. I like Bowser and Popple's Bros. Techniques. And Popple's new rookie later on is hilarious. "I'll protect you! (heart)" Hehehe...

The hard bit about fawful 2nd battle is hes got this kind of shield machine but when he does the spinning balls attack after he goes.... Yeeeouch! That battle is hard. Very hard.
Hermie III is extremely hard it took a long time to beat him!
IT took the game to beat for me about 2 weeks!
The last boss is cacklettas soul where a bomb comes in after bowletta goes"gaaaaaahhh!"
And the bomb kills them and bowletta swallows them into her belly and then you fight her soul!

I actually thought those battles were pretty easy hehe. Oh, and has anyone found any rare badges? I think one is called the "bros. respect" badge, I don't know where to find any!

Supposedly some bosses (starting with Trunkle) will drop rare items sometimes. And you get them all the time from the boss battles with the Game Boy Horror SP. I never got any or the SP though...

This game simply rules. It's not quite as fun as Paper Mario, mainly down to the fact that switching between different jumps and your hammer can get irritating, but it's one of the best GBA games I've played.

When you are to take the Princess through Teehee Valley, look east of Beanbean Castle Town for a small cave. Inside the Hammerhead Bros should upgrade your hammer.

DT go down of hermie and continue.
Then keep going down and eventally you'll find a rock for ultra hammering hammer it and continue and then you see a starfish.

I use the Chopper bros. attack to defeat the Chukolator! but i couldnt stand it when bubbles came in and revived its energy...*beats Bubbles with a stick*

Bros. Attacks is good but you hav to use Syrup,super Syrup or ultra and max.
I'd cxonsider use it for Hard bosses like hermie.

I'd cxonsider use it for Hard bosses like hermie. Hermie III wasn't hard. The only hard bosses were Trunkle, and the two final bosses. Trunkle was only hard until both Mario and Luigi got 1 level up each then they started doing 10+ damage to him with Hammer (It was 2 or 3 damage before the level up...) Tried a Bros. Attack on him after the level up as well.....hit all the right buttons......2 damage :/ I'll stick to normal attacks....

All you had to do is Keep Bros. attacking the head.
Then he will eventully die!

Let's see....My first battle with Trunkle....
Jump attack on body: 2 damage. Jump attack on head: 1 damage. Bros Attack on Body: 2 damage. Bros Attack on Head: 1 damage. Trunkle heals: +10 HP Meh, he eventually killed me.

Time when I beat him (after getting 1 level up):
Attack on body: 12 damage. Attack on head: 1 damage. Bros Attack on head: 1 damage. Bros. Attack on Body: 6 damage. *Uses normal attacks for about an hour until he breaks apart, then beat him*

Heh almost at Trunkle in my new save file. I beat Cackletta in four hits so he should be easy XD I love fast level up cheats XD I just want to see Fawful's machine in Bowser's Castle. "I have Fury!"

The machine is a shield that fawful stays inside to stop your damage getting to him.
But when he does an attack that has balls spinning round and round....... and hes done with it....
He gets out saying:" It is very hot!"

Why should it be closed? You should have just let it sink to page 3 or something instead of bringing it requesting it to be closed for no reason. This thread stay open since it wasn't too dead before you revived it and the game is still new.
