There are some forums on PC that are exempt from the No Revival rule that makes sure that a thread is not posted in if it has been untouched for 30 days.

The following cases/forums are not affected by the No Revival rule:

Stickied Topics. The most obvious.
ROMHacking Forum: Moderator's Choice/Highly Recommended. These are completely exempt from revival closing. If the hack is popular, we'd have linked to it anyway. Only Moderator's Choice and Highly Recommended can be revived. Other topics will still be closed.
ROMHacking Forum: General Hacks. Hacks in the Hacks Showcase are exempt from the revival for 2 months.
Game Development. RPG Maker games are exempt from the revival for 2 months.
Fanfiction Forum. Story revivals are allowed. Even Chain Stories.
#Free_Pokémon Forum. Any topic can be revived.
Website Showcase. Any topic can be revived, but only by the thread starter or a Staff member.

Any others I missed? PM an S-Mod or higher to request additions of exceptions.

What about the MAJOR Artist Threads in the Art Forum?
What if the artist is like gone for 30+ Days, and returns o.O (And their thread has near 1K+ Posts in it o.O), The Art Forum rules clearly state that each artist is allowed '1' art topic per member.(Especially if you want to do requests or display multiple artworks)

Good job, Jake. This is good so now we may possibly have less of a problem with people reviving dead threads. I just sure hope people read this.

Talk to the forum moderators. They have control over that kinda stuff.

And this thread should've been locked... a week ago, when it was made -.-

Duh, just make a new thread. Useless to bring back such old ones.

You say that as though... *shuts up*

But Anthony said to PM him, so I think it should be closed. :P

So any discussions take place by PM, rather than as replies to this thread ^^
