If you're wondering about how a baby Vulpix knows Dig, here's the answers. Babies can learn "egg moves" 4 different ways. 1. Moves they would know before L5. 2. Randomly selected moves (you can't control these). 3. A move the father knows that the baby can learn with a TM. 4. A move that both parents know. Any comments?
