When you find yourself attracted to someone do you ever go out of your way to do things you wouldn't normally do to impress them?

If you have can you name some of the things you've done? In the end did changing yourself work out in your favor?

If you haven't why is this? Do you believe being yourself at all times is best even if you know at first it might be hard to leave the right impression?

Lastly, have you ever changed yourself just to be friends with someone?

Eh... I wouldn't want to try and impress them. Most of the times it would probably not work anyway.

And no I haven't changed who I am just to be friends with someone.

No, I'll usually tend to shy away from them. :3

I can't say I remember doing anything in one of these situations.

As cliche as it sounds, if someone doesn't like you for who you are, then you shouldn't really need to change yourself just to please them.

Lastly, have you ever changed yourself just to be friends with someone?
Not necessarily. I mean, I've changed because of my friends, but not really for them.

I sound like such a buzzkill. :P

If I wanna impress someone I'm attracted to, it's pretty obvious. lol I'll just dress nice like everyday and wear something flattering to my ~body type~ so they'll notice me. And no, I don't change how I act around someone to conform to what they like. I'm me all the time. Sometimes I might be more hyper than others, but I'm still me all around.

No. Im being me and nothing but. Anyone opposed? well they can go suck eggs. i wont pretend too be what im not to get people to like me, because in the end they would only like who I’m pretending to be.

I might act a little bit different when I'm around someone I'm attracted to, but other than that, not really. It wouldn't really matter if I started looking nice, because I do have my occasions where I actually spend a week or two looking nice, and then just go back to wearing my usual. It makes no difference, because they'll see me normally eventually.

I'm shy when I first meet people, but I gradually become more myself the more I get to know them. I'll know which aspects of myself I should keep to myself, as well as what I can let out, but as for completely changing myself it all comes out eventually so if I changed myself it would just be delaying who I really am. It kind of sucks when I accidentally let one part of me get shown around someone who doesn't take it the right way, and that's when conflicts and 'you've changed' incidents happens.

Yes, I suppose I do. I don't think I really think it through when it's happening though. I'm not going to try to plan what I can change to be more attractive or anything like that, but I do find myself inspired to be better in lots of areas, like my appearance and so on.

If you have can you name some of the things you've done? In the end did changing yourself work out in your favor?
Actually, just a few days ago I did this somewhat stupid thing I would normally never do to impress someone, or at least surprise them. And it didn't hurt anything in the long run, except my pride, and I guess when something isn't bad at least it can be a memory between two people and a way of getting to know each other better.

If you haven't why is this? Do you believe being yourself at all times is best even if you know at first it might be hard to leave the right impression?
I think "being yourself" can mean a lot of different things, that is, that each person has a lot of "selves" they can be while still being true to who they are. I try to keep from letting myself get stuck in one mindset all the time.

Lastly, have you ever changed yourself just to be friends with someone?
Not in a long time, I don't think. High school or before at the latest.

Not really o.o It's in my nature to try and comfort people so it really isn't anything out of character and if I were to try to impress them... I'd usually end up failing :3

If you haven't why is this? Do you believe being yourself at all times is best even if you know at first it might be hard to leave the right impression?

Nah. I'm fine with being super affectionate <3 It works for me and I'm not that impressive anyways ;3

Lastly, have you ever changed yourself just to be friends with someone?

A few times when I was younger. Right now I am sort of just trying to get better at a few things that I suck at and I have been making friends o.O Don't know if that counts :P

I do go out of my way to make an effort for my boyfriend.. I mean.. showing them that you love them in unique ways is what I feel is right to do for a partner. :3 You have to show some effort to show that you care, yes?

I would never do anything to sacrifice my integrity though. If he doesn't love me then putting on a facade isn't going to actually change things- and if it does I doubt that the person who needed to change would actually be happy ://

I kinda.. hang out with them and talk to them a lot so that they'd notice me. :3

Uhm.. Probably, I don't really notice but I think I do it subconsciously. What I have noticed is that I definitely try and talk to them more and try and make them notice me by talking about all the awesome stuff I've done (With varying success) - And I also try and make myself look nice when I'm around them and stuff like that, what most people would do to be honest. Otherwise no, nothing special that I'm aware of.

not really. "not really" meaning that i don't act out of character to impress them. usually i just act a little o.o.c. because of the overly happy feeling i get whenever i get a crush.

Lastly, have you ever changed yourself just to be friends with someone?
nope. as a quote once goes, "if you don't accept me at my worst, then you don't deserve me at my best." (or something like that)
they wouldn't be true friends at all if i had to change myself for me to befriend them, and at the same time, i wouldn't be a true friend to them because i'm not being honest about who i am.

Sadly yes, I do try to go out of my way to get noticed, but it almost always end up in me embarrassing myself in some manner. And as for changing myself to be friends with some, heck no. If you don't like me, don't be friends with me, I'm not going to change just because you don't like certain aspect of me or anything.
