Hack created by Azure (http://www.pokecommunity.com/member.php?u=71733)

http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen4/overworld/front/327.png Features

The 386 ~ Obviously since this is a "386 hack" by some names, you will be able to capture and register each individual Pokémon through some method, whether it's via capturing, events or evolutions all Pokémon are obtainable!

Difficulty ~ Since this is a hack is intended to be challenging, the whole difficulty dynamic has been increased with a steep level curve throughout the game.
All boss battles including Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Rivals and so forth have been edited to be much more of a threat, using a strong AI coupled with tactical movesets these battles are much more of a challenge which will require you to train your Pokémon and stock up on items! The same applies to all other regular trainers throughout the game who will use specific items which will go against your favor!

Extra Tidbits ~ There have been a few extra NPC additions to the game who will help you along the way, some will gift you Eggs, others will sell you useful items to help you throughout your journey, and others will even battle you!

Evolutionary Changes ~ As usual I have change several evolutionary methods which make it much easier for to evolve specific Pokémon that were inaccessible. Some methods such as happiness have been replaced with a simple level evolution or an evolution that is triggered by using a specific elemental stone. You can find all the details on this in the Document compiled with the download!

Abilities ~ Some Pokémon have had their Abilities tweaked or completely changed, the decisions have been based on both feedback and personal opinions. So you can now have a Magneton that will have Levitate as it's ability! Again, these changes can be found with the Documents.

Attack Power & Type Changes ~ There have been a number of attacks that have been changed in terms of Power, PP and/or Accuracy, this applies mainly to those attacks with poor power or accuracy, for example GrassWhistle which originally had an Accuracy of 55 now has an Accuracy of 100.
There have also been several type changes to specific Pokémon that I feel would benefit their stats or attacks, for example Charizard is now Fire/Dragon and can learn several Dragon type moves.

Event Pokémon ~ Those one-off Pokémon including Starters, Legendaries etc have all been implemented as events scattered around Hoenn. You can battle and capture all of these but be careful, you only get once chance! You can refer to the documents for details on their locations.

Miscellaneous Changes ~ There have also been changes to Genders, Movesets, Stats and more, these changes can all be found within the various Documents.

http://pldh.net/media/pokemon/gen4/overworld/front/262.png Hints & Tips

On Route 117, Triathlete Maria is re-matchable and will use a Blissey which can provide a tremendous amount of experience when training in preparation for a Gym battle! You can also battle Wild Chansey, Wigglytuff and Clefable on Route 115 who give plenty of Experience Points.

Once you've obtained your Fishing Rod from the Fisherman in Dewford Town, try using it on the surrounding earlier Routes and Cities, it will provide you with some useful Water Pokemon early in game rather than waiting to obtain Surf! You can find the locations via the Document too.

You can obtain all Six Elemental Stones (Leaf, Water, Thunder, Fire, Sun & Moon) from the Lady at the beginning of Route 118

You can purchase a handful of helpful Berries from the guy standing in the centre of Mauville City.

Once You've defeated The Elite Four and the Champion, when you make your way to The Battle Frontier make sure you check out some of the houses. In one of the houses that is East of the Pokémon Centre you will be able to Unofficially rematch the Elite Four Members.

I'm surprised no one has replied as of yet. Tbh, I love the look of this! However Firered is more my game. However this idea seems great, Emerald generation games had to be easiest to complete by far.

I'm assuming Wally isn't as much if a Wally anymore and can now break your backside with a new awesome party? Give his party and complete revamp, so no one will predict what he uses B)

Blue
October 12th, 2011, 10:20 AM
I know, I thought I'd change the map slightly in that area.. just for fun ^^ I don't really see the need of the stairs, yeah Skitty will be in her team throughout the game!

Bidoof
October 12th, 2011, 10:28 AM
Lol Darn Cute charm and attract makes skitty just BLEH. xD

Also since its 'Expert' version i think May should maybe have 3 pokemon on the 2nd rival battle. but its just a suggestion xD

Why does Eevee evolve into Umbreon by level and not by a stone(Moon Stone)?

Blue
October 13th, 2011, 05:41 AM
Because you can get a Moon Stone early in the game and it was originally challenging to evolve Eevee into Umbreon so I wanted to keep it the same however I will consider lowering the level slightly or using another method if needed.

On the 3rd Gym! XD

i got pwned alot at the 2nd Gym. sooo i went through the cave to steven without Flash, went to slateport, beat the lower cycling road rival battle (with 1 pokemon surprisingly xD), beat all those trainers, did the team aqua event, beat trainers on the raod to verdanturf THEN i got the 2nd gym badge wih Blaziken XD

now just getting a team of lvl 30's + lvl 40 Blaziken for the 3rd gym lol.

Hope it's a challenge for you, it took me SEVERAL trys to beat Wattson and I still haven't beat Flannery, if you think you are overlevelled, just wait till you reach the later Leaders!

Bidoof
October 14th, 2011, 07:46 AM
It is a challenge xD just need type advantages to make it alot easier lol

Lol wattson was Cake once i trained Geodude and he had Magnitude xD

Ah right, unfortnuately in my case I had no type advantages to Wattson, thanks for the feedback.
I really need to edit the total stats of some Pokémon i.e Jynx as there was an error making the total stats 1000+ hence why it's so strong so in the next beta hopefully it should return to normal and it will be more of a challenge!

Bidoof
October 14th, 2011, 10:03 AM
I was gonna say... jynx tanked EVERYTHING xD. yea.. i didnt have a type advantage either... i went back to dewfords tunnel and caught a lvl 10 geodude and daycare spammed it lol.

Cant wait for the Next Release :D

Well I've fixed that now, some of the Pokémons (mainly flying) total stats have increased, but not dramatically to the likes of 1000! I think I've done a pretty good job with Flannery cos it took me about 20-30 attempts before I beat her, she took me down to 0 Pokédollars :/

Another project similar to FR: Hard version? Pretty cool! Although I would've preferred you to complete the other one first, if you can pull them both off, then why not?

By the looks of the changes and for the sake of longevity I think i'm going to play this when it gets a bit further. Good luck with both your projects, pal!

It seems like youve put a lot of thought into this instead of just throwing overlevelled pokemon in gym leaders party. Will definitely have a crack at this when its complete. Good luck and good work man.

I like the idea of this and as soon as the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak comes out, I'll get this on my iTouch. It looks really nice.

Edit: Like I mentioned on another topic by same author (Pokemon Complex Crystal vs Hard Crystal) there is a Pokemon Hard Emerald. I am confused, could anyone explain?

Update: Huge glitch regarding all the trainer battles so had to scrap that ROM and restarted the whole project. Making a few detailed documentations relevant to the game such as Trainer Details, Pokémon Locations etc. once I have completed those I will begin work on the trainers and other tweaks to the game. It shouldn't really take long until I've caught up!

I have completed the Trainer Data document which took several hours and I have completed the Elite Four & Gym Leaders document which didn't take as long as the previous. I am currently working on the Pokémon Locations document and I have listed around 130 so far, once this time consuming part is done it will be out the way and the only things I will need to do is edit the game which should be a breeze if I have it all mapped out.

I spent another few hours yesterday putting together ALL the vital documents which I will compile into one Rar file with the download which will contain the main details and changes to the game ~ Only editing trainers then I'm finished. Shouldn't be long till a release now and thank you! ^

I have finally completed everything (so I think) which now means the final beta is released. Download the Rar file and you will find the Lunar ips Patch along with some informative documentations which I recommend you take a look at ~ Have fun & post feedback!

Looks good, man. For real. I really like what I see. I might give this a try...

But...Seriously, tho. LOL Why does Taillow & Swablu evolve so late, man? 36 and 39...is kinda...weird for Pokemon that evolves once.

Did you increase their stats or something? That's one of the things I hate da most with Black & White. Other than that the other evolutions looks good.

Blue
December 15th, 2011, 06:19 PM
Thanks for reminding me, that's something I haven't updated, Swablu and Altarias evolution remains the same but the Stat total has increased slightly whereas Taillow evolves into Swellow at Level 30 because of a high stat increase, this is purely because I think Swellow deserves a higher stat than it actually has plus I have increased the rarity of them in the game i.e Taillow appearing later in the game same goes for Swablu and thank you"

The Grubby Pup
December 15th, 2011, 07:06 PM
I was waiting for somebody to notice this, Swellows total stat has gone very high hence why I increased the evolution level and Taillow is only avaliable in one place same goes for Altaria whos stats have increased but not as much as Swellows but that's only 3 levels higher than the original evolution so it's not so staggering. Once you see the stat changes you'll understand and thanks!

Ohhh, that was a fast reply. ^^ Anyways, yeah, man, so I went ahead and downloaded yer game...And DAMN were there was alotta docs...problem is...and yeah, this is totally slow on what I'm 'bout to say, but I didn't know how to read'em. I noticed alotta xml files...Do I suppose to convert'em into doc file and read'em from there?

And about Taillow and Swablu...Yeah, just ignore the one about Swablu, I completely forgot that it evolves on Level 35 on the real game. But yeah, if you say you increased Taillow's base stat significantly, I guess it'll be able to defend itself while still in is pre-form.

Blue
December 15th, 2011, 07:12 PM
Well I've just reuploaded another RAR file because I made some slight tweaks to a couple of the Documents but yeah just convert them into .DOC files (Microsoft Word) as that's what I created them on (took a while!) Taillow hasn't had as much of an increase as Swellow, you'll see once you open the documents.

I'm thinking of playing this, because it sounds awesome - all pokemon available, harder trainers and gyms to verse, more hours of gameplay. I've seriously been searching for a game like this for ages. D:

But, I haven't played emerald in a long time and I'm not exactly a "pro" pokemon player. Do you think this will be too difficult for some people to actually finish?

And a question for anyone playing this: Have you planned out the ultimate pokemon team to win the game with? What is the pokemon team you're using (or at least, what starter did you pick?)? xD I know for sure that I'm going to try and make the best team possible.

May just owned me.. fail #1.

And so the adventure begins. <3

Just remembered something important is that I forgot to edit Stevens team.. time must have got the better of me and I did rush towards the end so for those of you who are playing and want to battle Steven with a strong team, download the new Rar file and just patch your current game and carry on playing!

Ah right well I've just checked and according to YAPE I've set it as Level 52, only 4 more levels now ~ sorry about that.

Since I've found the odd unedited trainer now and then I've re-uploaded a new patch which should have 99% edited if there are the odd one or two that you stumble across just let me know so download the latest if you wish!

There was a typo, it's actually level 50 and the reason for the higher evolution levels is because when you reach the 5th - 6th gym point in the game your Pokémon will be around the 50 level mark and that is around the time these pokémon usually evolve anyway so I just fitted it best as could.

Okay a few things now that I have had a chance to play through a bit more:

- My Graveler is now a Golem, just like you said it would be at level 50! Awesome!

- Check on the level of Flannery's Camerupt, it was 29 still when I battled her.

- While surfing from Dewford to Slateport, the Tuber and his Sister was actually Elite 4 Phoebe and had level 96 Pokemon. Not sure if that was intended, but it still scared the crap out of me.

That's all for now, I'll keep updating as I play. I just beat Norman, and by beat I mean reset the save every 5 seconds. He is ridiculously hard, which is good. Thanks for making an awesome hack.

I was expecting a few errors so thanks for pointing these out, Phoebe is rematchable but I've obviously mixed the data up which I will fix and I've changed Camerupt to Level 40! As for Phoebe I have reinstated the trainer to it's original team and assigned Phoebe to a different trainer, I have uploaded a new RAR with some changes.

If I returned Slaking's stats to normal I would have to re-balance the other Pokémons total stats and that was the whole intention, to make those weaker slightly stronger and those over powered slightly weaker. Besides, I've only reduced Slaking's SP. Attack & Speed it's not like a major change to it's original power.

Just a quick updated.. added a new upload which includes Attack Power increases i.e Fly has a new power of 90 instead of 70, Shock wave has a new power of 65 etc. Download if you wish.

Well on first note in your guide you named ROXANNE AND OTHER 7 GYM leaders of the game with BROCK and other KANTO Gym leaders also..
I fought Roxanne's aron, onix, nosepass and 1 other poke and in your guide there is a geodude, omanyte, kabuto and onix..
other pokes of gym leaders are changed too

Hey Suicune: What is the location of Larvitar in Granite cave. i mean in which floor? Boy I had searched hours and hours for It and still haven't found it.
Also can't u make the appearance ratio of starters a little bit more coz i spent a half day for Bulbasaur and finally i got it?!!!

Blue
January 5th, 2012, 03:30 AM
The low ratio rate of the starters is intentional, they're supposed to rare hence why they are hard to find. I didn't set the ratio impossibly low however, I walked onto Route 117 and found Squirtle after two trys, it's just chance really and all Pokémon are listed in the correct location just some are more rare than others due to their power etc.

There are a few things that need to change:

1) Why is Wallace's rematch team mono-Grass?
2) If there's room in the rom, you can put held items on normal trainers.
3) Aqua Admin Matt has four Pokémon with no held items and default attacks, and an AI value of 50. Additionally, there are several 4x weaknesses on his team. He seriously needs to be buffed up...

Blue
January 5th, 2012, 03:02 PM
There are no grass type leaders or elite four members and as Juan already specialises in Water types it seems a waste to have another having the same typing I'll admit I was considering doing a completely diverse team for him and it wasn't by any means a permanent team. There are some items on certain trainers i.e Hyper potions and stat enhancing items which is being modified for the next release and as for the Admins I admit I kinda rushed them which was towards the end of the beta so I'll reconsider his team, thanks for the feedback.

alienhunterx
January 6th, 2012, 12:27 AM

There was a document but currently you get the items at the Battle Frontier however I am implementing Legendary Events so there will be no need for that and I will specify their locations.

Beta 6.0 has been released and this is quite a major release as it includes a few important changes. To start I have tweaked and changed the locations of some Pokémon and edited the documents. Secondly there are a couple or more team changes.. I'll let you discover who! Finally, the most important change I have implemented the Legendarys that are not avaliable in-game, Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Celebi, Jirachi & Mewtwo are now events located around Hoenn! The same goes for starters, as you make your way through the game you will notice Kanto, Johto & Hoenn starters dotted in different locations, can you find and catch them all?

That is a good idea however, that would be an extra 16 battles which would possibly make players over levelled which is a problem. Besides I have used up all the free spaces for trainers on A-Trainer and would have to learn about Hex Editing which I plan to do. It may be something that I might add in the future.

It is after either route 120 or 121 a female battle girl sending a lvl28 MAKUHITA , as well as a double trainer battle after mt pyre sending out 2 lvl30 pokemons.

Hey suicune.. few things i want to discuss:
The only hicker i fought in rusturf tunnel has 2 geodudes and a machop with i think lv 15 pokes.. Isn't the same hicker has same team in original emeald and with same levels. Just thought to tell you if you forgot to increase his team or change the levels.
Also there is a rich boy ( i think in the area between first gym city... i forgot his location who also has same team with the original emerald)
I was playing your previous beta and currently am at Weather institude. I have following team:
LV 40 Lairon
Lv 40 Bulbasaur
Lv 40 Blaziken
Lv 40 Swampert
Lv 40 Pidgeot
Lv 40 Ampharos
The thing i want to know is you have changed the location and catching method of all the starters in the newest beta. as you see i have already had three starters in my team. would the new beta EFFECT my game . i mean to say that will i again found the starters at locations you mentioned when ill patch the old beta with the newest one?

Those two trainers have been edited in the latest beta as I have just checked and I remember battling the Hiker in Rusturf Tunnel and seeing him unedited but now has the four fossil Pokémon at level 24. If you download the latest patch and use it on your current ROM for the game it wont affect it in anyway, you can just patch it and carry on as usual, it's much better as the starter Pokémon and most legendaries are available via events around Hoenn, check the Locations document too in case you can't find them but make sure it's the latest download otherwise it's outdated.

Thank you for noting down the Route I'll get that sorted.
I've checked through Mt. Pyre and all the trainers are fine, there are none that are incorrect are you sure you have the latest download?

EDIT: The trainers on the lower level of the S.S. Tidal are unedited. I also found a typo at the Battle Frontier involving the four guys you put there to give out the event items: it's supposed to be "aides", not "AIDS". Though Birch does have AIDS. Yes, I am using 6.03...

They are intentional, I didn't want to have pre evolutions at high levels, if that was the case it would only take a rare candy and they would evolve. I've checked Fernando's team and it seems fine, Level 56 which is equal to the trainers in that area.

Check the latest release (6.13) Just some slight changes to movesets, documents etc. nothing too important.

Yes there is, not many currently the main ones are listed on the Pokémon Stat Changes document but I plan to add more. One I've noticed which I'm going to add is Golduck needs to learn Psychic but I do plan to add more and I'm open to any suggestions.
These are the current changes so far:

Dodrio now learns Bulk up & Shock wave (TM)
Kingler now learns Bulk up, Earthquake & Brick Break (TM)
Ledian now learns Ice Beam & Sludge Bomb (TM)
Ariados now learns Thunderbolt & Aerial Ace (TM)
Ludicolo now learns Leaf Blade at Level 35 & Giga Drain at level 40.
Swellow now learns Bulk Up, Blizzard, Thunder, Shadow Ball, Flamethrower & Torment (TM)
Nosepass now learns Dig & Brick Break (TM)
Altaria now learns Calm Mind, Bulk Up, Blizzard & Thunder (TM)
Crawdaunt can now learn Shadow Ball (TM)

Um the ones i named would be useful. The moves pokemon naturally learned in gen3 is a bit unfortunate and unfair to many. For grass types theres a huge move gap between magical leaf ((60)) and solarbeam ((120)) and very few pokemon learn leaf blade, so giving that move to more grass types would be loved.
Also letting each eeveelution learn it's 95 damage type move naturally would be wonderful. Flareon learning flamthrower, jolteon learning thunderbolt, vaporeon learning surf/ice beam.
most people teach their alakazam the elemental punches so learning that naturally would be good. In pokemon emerald, there is only one brick break tm, yet the move is needed by so many pokemon, so making it purchasable like in Fire Red would be amazing. Seeing as how emerald is my favorite game I used to have a million of these. I'll throw down a few ideas every once in a while.

Well I had already increased the power of Giga Drain to 75 (and the PP to 15) considering 60 was too low.. Initially I was going to add the Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt to the Eeveelutions at a certain level but that's something I need to do. I can easily implement Brick Break into the Lilycove Mart or something like that it's just something that didn't cross my mind, I'll sort something out so thanks for the ideas.

I have to say, this one is really addicting because of the difficulty level, very well done :)
It was quite easy up to the first gym, got a lot harder then, lost three times to Brawly before I managed to knock out his damned Heracross xD. Got to the fourth gym now, with a lv48 Alakazam, lv44 Blaziken, lv43 Feraligatr, lv36 Meganium. I guess Norman will be really tough to kill :)

Just a tiny bug I encountered (no idea if it's possible to replicate, forgot to take screenies :x): I entered the pkmn center in Rustboro, and there was a NPC with the male main character sprite, I got an Old Amber from it, then it disappeared... Quite odd :P

Those are all wonderful solutions, changing the damage of aerial ace or wing attack from 60 to 80 or so would also be wonderful. Not to mention making silver wind a more accessible move for bug types.

This might be the best hardmode/386 hack I've ever played. You've made the game difficult without being cheap, uped the AI and changed the move roster so that it's clever. As if theres a human player playing. Most of the time when someone attempts to make the game harder, they'll give trainer's pokemon max EV and IVs, make their trainers use unlimited potions and give them the strongest attacks possible. You didn't stoop to that. While fighting brawly I actually had to use skill and predict my enemy's moves as if i were fighting a human player. I love the variety of Pokemon you've given trainers as well as if i were in a world with human trainers who all play with interesting Pokemon and their favorites. You've done all this while maintaining the feel of an actual pokemon game which so many hacks lose. Kudos. I compared this game to Fire Red Omega, but this surpasses it. If i could give any criticism, it would be to make the selection of Pokemon in each area even more diverse than it already is, but I've only just reached the Trick house so for all i know that's not even an issue. Keep up the good work.

Also the eevee i got in the trade has no ability and the totadile you find on dewford can be re-fought even after catching it.

Thank you very much! That means a lot. The both errors you reported are now fixed, Eevee has the ability Run Away and the Totodile is fixed, with the wild Pokémon you're kind of limited to spaces to fit all 386 Pokémon considering you only get 6-12 Pokémon in each area and I've mixed it up as best as possible i.e mixing typing, region etc. You will be able to catch all 386 by the end basically!

Man, Norman's first two pkmn were quite hard to knock down (gotta hate double battles xD), but once I eliminated Blissey, Blaziken and Alakazam could sweep the rest of the team with some revives to back up :P. Lv52 Blaziken, Lv50 Alakazam and Feraligatr, Lv47 Meganium was my team there.
Now I'm grinding hard in New Mauville for Winona, I wonder if lv66 Alakazam and lv65 Blaziken is enough... should I really train an electric-type to get through it more easily?

Ice-types IMO. There are some good Electric pokemon that you can get after getting Surf.
Jolteon(my team lead when I fought the E4), Raichu(I think it can learn Volt Tackle now without Light Ball?), Magneton( I think her Altaria has EQ, so maybe you might want to get a Levitate Magneton.), Electabuzz(I've caught one when I started playing, but since it's useless at the start, I decided to box it. But it's a good Electric type when it learns decent moves.) Electrode( omg, this one is fast and a hard hitter, so you may want to get one. :P.), Ampharos, Manectric are also some good electric types and really help you in the end when you reach Wallace and Juan. It's up to you now.

Man this game can be a pain when it wants to be. I'm at Norman's gym and his team is demolishing mine. I've always played by the strictest Karen rules so i not only play with my favorites, but i refuse to catch or train pokemon that i don't like in fear of wasting any exp on them at all ((I like a good amount of pokemon so it's not killer)) and i hate having two pokemon with the same type despite them being multitypes. So right now i'm fighting Norman with
A lvl 41 Gardevoir
A lvl 43 Swellow
A lvl 45 Blaziken
I've always said skill and method override strength and haven't had trouble all game long but this time i don't think I can just rely on that. So I know this makes the game easier which is exactly what you don't want to do, but is there a way you can speed up match call? Instead of fighting wild pokemon to lvl up, going back and fighting stronger trainers is much more pleasant

Also the hiker in Rusturf tunnel has kinda low leveled pokemon for that point of the game.
And you might want to take away all cutable trees in front of entrances or position them around the entrance because when exiting the player walks through the tree.

Unfortunately, there is no way I am able to speed up that process, I have set the levels as they are set because I feel they have a right distance depending on their point in the game. I've changed the levels several times, increased, decreased and most times it never worked which ended up with people being over levelled which is what I didn't want, I think that I've got the levels spot on currently as nobody has been over levelled so far. Considering there are no trainers between Flannery & Norman I may decrease his levels by 2-4 and possibly Winonas but that's if people are still struggeling, Thanks!

Norman is quite hard, yeah, but your team is really underleveled to face him, unfortunately you need to train with wild pkmn to get over him...

By the way, I got to the point when you face Team Magma together with Steven; you should give him a stronger team (lv 65-ish) since both me and team Magma were around lv70-75, that way it's more like a 2vs1 handicap battle :P

I was considering this but then the problem with that would be the levels would surpass Juan's way before you actually battle Juan which could possibly bring you over levelled, they're 2-4 levels above Tate & Liza which is around the levels you would be after defeating them hopefully.

Alright. :)

By the way, how do you unlock the National Pokedex? My pokedex count is incredibly low because of that :P

You just have to wait until you've defeated the Elite Four but I'm thinking of implementing a National Dex Script so you get it at the beginning of the game. Once you've battled ALL trainers and defeated the Champion your Pokédex should have every Pokémon recorded excluding legendaries unless you've already caught them. You can then use your National Dex to locate the Pokémon you need/want to catch!

I really like this hack. I started one file with my favorite Hoenn starter, Torchic, but found Wattson to be way to powerful for the team I had. I ended up restarting with a Swampert, and now I'm pretty far. However, I want to start a new file that doesn't use the starter. I may post my team here every once in a while like ~Hot n' Cold~ is doing. That's if it's okay with you.

sounds like you could use a fighting/ghost/psychic type. Mt Pyre might be awesome for you. I dunno why but i can see you adding a tyranitar and a gengar to that team.

I'm slacking behind but in retrospect I'm making leaps and bounds. I'm at the 6th gym and still underleveled by about ten levels each pokemon but I've added new pokemon to my roster and trained them from incredibly low levels since last gym/post.

Pikachu the Blaziken- lvl 51
Pikachu the Gardevoir- lvl 49
Pikachu the Swellow- lvl 51
and introducing
Pikachu the Swampert- lvl 46 ((raised from lvl 10))
Pikachu the Flygon- lvl 46 ((raised from lvl 24))

The level 30 wasn't intentional but Totodile is supposed to be there but after you battle it, it disappears instead of re-appearing. I'll fix it to Level 10.

LV45 Dodrio

Flannery Poliwhirl, Dodrio and Blaziken

So, I beat Roxanne with relative ease. Having only two pokemon does allow for a small overleveling to occur. Anyway, my team is:

Skiploom - Lv. 19
Wingull - Lv. 16

I love Skiploom. She beasted against Roxanne. I sweeped Onix and her other pokemon with Wingull, but then Rhyhorn took a water gun with very little HP left, and OHKO'd Wingull. Skiploom came in and finished him off. Then she Sleep Powdered Nosepass and used absorb. Safe to say, I won.

I've never really known Feraligatr's move set so I never really bothered, also I'd assume you could teach Surf after the 5th Gym but I suppose I could put something like Water Pulse and Ice Punch into the move set and do similar alterations with all the other starters.

As said Lucky Egg is only obtainable via Chansey, however I do like to use Lucky Eggs in game the only problem is like you say over levelling, you seem to be under levelled so I'll have to think about it. If I did decide to it would only be one that you could obtain via an NPC or something, having six would make the game a cake walk.

So I beat Brawly after literally twenty attempts. Those attempts did get Wingull up to Level 25, so he evolved. I had also went back and gotten the Exp. Share, which helped bring up my newest team member, Makuhita, to level 20.

Team:

I will also say it again, I have lowered Slaking's speed and SP. Attack simply because Slaking having high speed seems unreal but the main purpose is to balance out the other Pokémon having higher stats than their originals, it makes it evenly balanced also Stantler has a lower stat total than Slaking..
I did want to make the game harder after all and reducing the stats of some Pokémon seems a reasonable way to do so.

Teach slaking strength
Blaziken doesn't need slash, his STAB double kick does more and gives him a super effective move against norman. use the heartscale left of maulville and the move tutor in fallharbor.
And you can't reach the move deleter just yet but when you do delete gloom's flash and teach it sludge bomb.

Now Norman's tricky and intelligent, one thing it took me a while to notice is that 4 of norman's pokemon have intimidate and intimidate stacks. So be prepared to switch out and have your special attackers on standby. Because of his team's running intimidate tactic don't rely on fighting type moves too much but whenever you can pull one off try it. Once more, because he has intimidate don't be scared to switch out before it stacks. Granbull's part darktype in this game so you can use it's double weakness against it. Because of your lowered attacks and his pokemon's defenses don't be afraid to have both of your pokemon attack the same pokemon of his. and being normal types his pokemon have a range of attacks, but also being normal types know that they all don't have the best of stats in either special or physical. Its up to you to know what which it is for which pokemon.
