I think mew is hybrid between a cat and mouse. His face is certainely cat like structure but the eyes and ears to mee and even the feet seem to be more mosue like. The body and tail and cry are difentaly cat like.

3. Pokemon aren't real world animals. Notice that bears in real life don't have rings on their belly (Ursaring) or that mice don't have zig-zag shaped tails that generate electricity?

I am right and you are wrong. And there are bears with ring-like patterns on their chests. Mew has cat ears and makes a cat sound. WHOA!!!! It's a cat! Just like a type of frog who makes a sound like a meow! It must be a cat then!

Well I have a toy of Mew, and ages ago, i showed it to my Mum's Mum, and she was scared of it o.O

I asked why, and my Mum said it was because she is scared of mice XD

But she got me a pkmn towel this X-Mas and it has Pikachu on it so meh...

It has a nice face, can stand upright (almost) has a lion like tail. =P Bigger ears than normal cat like felines. (Compare Meowth and Mew and see Mew's -slightly- bigger)

Though it could be a Gerbil. o.o;;; They're nice looking, too. (though not as pink. XD)
