If it was from any generation, then I would pick Squirtle. I think having Squirtle around, and then having a Blastoise would be very handy for worldy things that go on, and...just to have a cool kick butt Blastoise. :P

I'd choose Eevee, since then I'd have many options on what it could evolve into. I'd probably end up evolving it into either Umbreon or Vaporeon.

Or even Pikachu. ^____^ Pikachu has always been a favorite of mine. ^^ It's so very cute and has great electric attacks as well. ^.~
