View Full Version : What colour best describes you?

Simple really. What colour do you think best describes your personality? This is your own interpretation, so think about what colour you choose and how you would describe and compare it to yourself.

/I'll reply later cause I'm terribly uncreative.

GREEN personalities have good perception and awareness about most things, but don't appreciate sudden surprises. You're too stable to have your boat unexpectedly rocked. Your superior mind, enjoys details and balanced ledger sheets. Some call you a healer, yet some may call you a scientist. As a practitioner, your skills are unequaled, for you can usually see clearly into any situation. Health and balance are your goals, for you would like to discover life's hidden secrets, as well as return the earth and all of it's inhabitants to natural harmony. You could be a great CPA, farmer, physician, office manager, herbologist, anthropologist, naturopath etc. Green personalities want to help every one. They are natures mothers. These people are usually in the medical profession or some occupation which helps people.

Preferring to watch rather than to become involved in others business, they usually keep their thoughts secret. Others see them as good listeners because of this quality. This characteristic makes them wonderful counselors. Others take for granted that the green personality can see more than one side to a situation without bias.

Green personalities make others feel at home in their house by putting them at ease immediately. They try to take care of others with all the care their mothers gave them.

Peacemaker is their sworn duty. They want harmony in every one's life. Green personalities may even stop an argument between others by starting one themselves.

Others think that green personalities make the best of friends because they are jovial, caring and can keep a secret.

In order for a green personality to feel good about themselves, they have to be helping someone or something. Nurturers by choice, they are the ones who take care of animals, humans and plants.

I'm definitely green, and yes my (real) name is related to nature itself, although I'm not really a plant lover and all. But I do love taking pictures of them and doing a scrapbook. :D

Blue is a color that seems to bring peace and calmness.

Indigo relates to self responsibility, that is to say, being responsible for one's own life; responsibility to oneself to follow the soul's path and needs and trusting one's own intuition. The ability to see things from a 'higher' viewpoint rather than purely for satisfaction of the ego or one's material comfort.

I can compare myself to the color Blue because I know myself as a calm, relaxed person who desires peace among other individuals.

I can compare myself specifically to the color Indigo because I do rely on my own intuition and I seem to be able to view things from a higher perspective rather than for my own selfish whims. Not to mention that this is also part of my aura color, along with a lighter shade of blue that I am yet to identify.

Black because I'm all dead and quiet in school.

I suppose Orange. I always view it as a hyper colour. And since i'm rather hyper, I thought that would be the best choice.

Just a heads up guys, I'm asking you to interpret these colours yourself, not a copy and paste of what some jazzy website says.

Politically I am green and, too a lesser degree, red, character-wise I would say Blue or Black, since I am quiet, calm and often full of negative emotions.

White because I tend to be oblivious and innocent and green because I am quiet and sophisticated. That's... about all I can think of when it comes to colors!

I would compare myself to a dull blue or green.
Blue because I tend to be a peaceful person, and green because I enjoy nature.

I would say I am orange, since I always saw orange as kinda quirky, but laid back and passive. And that's me in a nutshell; quirky, laid back, passive. xD

As for me, I'd say emerald green.

I feel like that green that has more of a blue than a yellow tinge is a cool, detached colour. It takes a lot for me to get angry and nothing much fazes me, so I like to think I'd be represented by a cool colour rather than a warm one.

According to mermaid uranai (that is, mermaid fortune telling, which uses your birthday to figure out your color), I'm an indigo in real life. I forgot what it means, but to me indigo is a mix between reserved and intelligent.

Online, I think I'm more of a light blue. It seems a lot more upbeat and hyperactive than a dark cool color like indigo XD;

Blue since I just see my-self and my things blue.
You kinda see me wearing Blue all the time :P

i believe myself to be a "yellow." well, apart from it being one of my favourite colours, i believe yellow to be the colour of joy, happiness, and an innocent outlook on life.

Green. Different shades of green can all match me very well from neon to forest.

Blue best describes me because I feel more like a man when I wear that color. It also represents water (one of my favorite Pokemon types).

I would say offline, a deep indigo/violet. Not quite purple because purple is the color of royalty so I feel like a purple person would have a quiet sort of regality about them, but indigo blends into the background and is very quiet and would rather be alone than with other people for the most part.

Online though, I would say I'm an orange. I tend to be very friendly and happy and make friends easily, but also online I'm very vocal about my opinions and what I think is right so I have no problem voicing what I'm thinking and defending it no matter how controversial. That would be a nice combination of yellow and red to make orange. :3

Well, one of the reasons I made this thread was to find out what people think these colours represent, which is one of the purposes of this thread, but you're the mod.

I suppose I'm probably a shade of Purple, actually make that two shades of purple. I suppose when I want to be I can be bright and cheerful, and friendly, and then sometimes I can be the most annoying person you will ever meet. :3

I'd say I'm purple because purple looks completely different to all the other colours and is a little out of the ordinary, like me.
EDIT:Looked at the above post and found someone who is my clone. Sorta.

I seriously took a personality quiz for this.

Green
People whose personalities display shades of green nurture life whole-heartedly. You are the one who takes in stray cats, tends to houseplants, and adores children. You are the peacemaker who can become the martyr if you do not look after your own needs as well.

This. ^
Green is also my favorite color. Go figure. :P

unless you have some ultimate power that you're not telling us about.
Google, it's public and free to use too you know.

What you wrote seems very similar, if not exactly the same as whats been written here (http://www.colourtherapyhealing.com/colour/indigo.php). Although I can understand what ShiningRaichu said about writing what you want, there is no need to call me foolish, or plainly call me a liar.

I'm an imaginative, sometimes aloof person. I think a good color for me would be something in the blue-purple spectrum because those are cool colors and I'd definitely call myself more "cool" than "warm." I'd also think it would be a big desaturated, a little grey, since I'm often pretty lacking in luster at any given moment.

Really though I'd like to think of my self in color terms with a color scheme: a lighter, warmer purple for my romantic, creative, dreamy side; the grey shade of purple I mentioned earlier for my broody, darker thoughts; a dusty shade of gold for my sense of humor and my appreciation for puzzles, mental challenges, and learning in general; and a light, breezy green for all my whimsical, unplanned actions.

THIS COLOR

I am not a huge fan of this color, but I guess it describes me the most. Upbeat, vibrant, and such.

I'd say definitely yellow :) I'm an easy-going, happy, innocent, type of person - so yep, definitely yellow!

Personality wise, I'd picture myself as blue. I find blue to be a nice, somewhat bright (depending on the shade of it of course) and relaxing. I like to relax and take things easy, enjoying moments of joy, or victory in things that I've put effort into winning, instead of rushing through it, like many people I know would do.
The ocean also resembles my personality in some kind of way. Most of the time it is silent and easy-going, but can quickly change into a raging ocean, which doesn't bring the least bit of joy.
In short, I'm mostly in a good mood, trying to be friendly around the people I am with, but when I'm in a bad mood, the atmosphere around me is rather gloomy, so I try not to interact with people at those times.

I haven't taken any kind of fancy test, so I'm not sure if that's what blue actually resembles, and this is just my opinion on blue anyway.

Though when we talk about clothing, blue doesn't fit me in the slightest. I prefer darker colours, so naturally I love black. White goes too, but I don't like it as much as I do with the darker colours.

I see myself as this color. I'm almost always very depressed and angry, and very serious. I'm described by my own mother as a *****. But no one knows or cares about what's going on inside, do they? That's what pisses me off. And makes me depressed. They don't know what I'm going through and they just assume something ignorantly. Because they are ignorant people. I will continue to be serious.

Silver and icy blue. It's described me all my life. Hell, even on that Mystery Dungeon Pokemon game, when you touch your finger to the screen, I found it hilarious that I actually got silver.

I'm a very calm person, and I'm told I'm very wise as well. I don't know, there's something so mysterious about the colors to me, I think it just really describes me.
