Isn't this exactly like what you complained about last time in another forum? They are there for a reason, end of story. They will go whenever the owner erases them.

It's annoying when there are old ones [like the report one] that still take up space.

It doesn't help when there are forums with their own announcements. It's a pain going past the same things, everytime.

Two of them have been there over a month, isnt' that long enough?

Two of them have been there over a month, isnt' that long enough? A lot of people don't go to announvements, they should but they don't, end of story. So that's why we need them, and it isn't THAT much trouble really, it's just a little space on the screen that doesn't take long to scroll pass.

yeah what blue said..

they're there for a reason.. some are important info others are bsic info or simplely an announcement of something.. all have start and end dates and will go away when that time is reached.

Fine, I'll remove the report one.
But JK stop complaining about our Announcements, I don't care if we have 2 or 20. If they are needed then they are going to be up there. Whatever you may think you are not Staff anymore, so going around saying "We have too many Announcements, get rid of them" isn't your problem.
And saying "still take up space." or "It's a pain going past the same things, everytime." is just a lame excuse for saying "You guys (Staff) don't know better so I'll be here to tell you what to do". Because one Announcement is only around 42px, you can live with 42 pixels on each page.
