well, the file has to be saved as a .bmp .jpg .bmp and there are some other options, that I can't remember, are you trying to get this of the internet, or from you computer?

Don't make misleading topics :P I think your avatar might have a problem if you are using a BMP image, make sure you're using either a GIF or JPG type image (PNG might work, but I'm not sure...)

It has to be at most 130 x 130 pixels or less. Is it bigger than that?

well, make shure it's saved as one of the options, and that the image is small enough, and you should be fine!
(but I think they should alow .tif/.tiff)

if it contains a link in it,i believe you cannot put it up either,just make sure that the picture is less then 130X130.and either .gif or .bmp.

Hmm.....Try Saving the Same file as .png -- Then try to Upload it.
Or As Steve said use HyperSnapDX or anyother software and get a screenshot of it.
