A quick question...

Is there any move in the GSC series which raises one's special attack? I would like to know this so i can choose a good special sweeper. Just tell me if there is a move which gaurantees this effect.

Do you mean stats or atack.If sats there is Curse .If special atack it depends on the atack.There is sunny day for fire atacks for example.

Doesn't curse raise attack and defense and lower speed?

In ruby and saphire and after that.But I rebember curse was diffrent in GSC.

Curse is only different on ghosts (Takes 50% of total HP to decrease foe's HP by 1/4 each turn) and it is the same in RSE and GSC.

I do not believe there are any Special Attack stat increasers in GSC, or even Special Defence decreasers, but there is Psychic which does have a chance of lowering Sp. Def.

I only know two moves in Gold/Silver.

Growth raises Spcl Attk during battles, but i think only Bellsprout can learn it. Maybe u can breed it to get other pokemon to learn it, i never really tried.

Amnesia raises Spec. Defence.
