Yeah, what Greg said. If the PC staff allowed name changes, all the staff would be busy constantly changing people's names. If PC staff allowed people to change their own names (via the User CP), then everyone would be changing names, and nobody would know who is who. Therefore only mods and above can request name changes.

...actually, even staff aren't allowed name changes. They have to register again, except in certain situations. (Like when Alex's old account failed to work)

No, I think staff can only have their usernames altered slightly. Lile how Eli and Blue had the first letter of their usernames capatilized.

We let staff do them for a while, but decided it was unfair. So the rule is no name change without a re-register.
