Ok here is what happened.

Arcanine PC: Steve did some threads or something get deleted? Because lots of members lost lots of posts.
PokePalaceNet: perhaps.. i've recently ran update post counts
Arcanine PC: Oh, so you mean you recounted the post stats?
PokePalaceNet: i guess yeh
Arcanine PC: Ok then that's why everything is lower (because I think all the posts made in a thread before it's moved to a forum without anypost count still counts for the total post count on a member).


So what's going on is threads that were moved to Fun Time and stuff after they were started just got everything recounted.

Basically any of your posts throughout your time at PC that were deleted still remained on your post count until today. Now, only your true existing posts are shown on your post count ^^

Everybody relax.. we just did a cleanup of old post counters and thread info counters.. your post count now shows your current and true post counts. this was done due to some threads being deleted, moved and so on. it's just routine and PC does it at somewhat regular intervals (or when we feel like it, lol)

Ift hey got deleted their posts its for a reason , maybe they where past way back past topics that got pruned or deleted, or maybe the member had somehow a spammy past.

Okay guys, here's the members list from 35 minutes ago. I was looking at the postcounts of members. I could swear Abby had about 10,300-something a few days ago.

Ok here is how it works.

Lets say 500 posts were made in a thread. And then that thread was moved to Fun Time. Now all the posts after it was moved will not be counted. But all them 500 before still counts to your total post count. When the stats is recounted it it brings that thread to 0.
When Steve recounted the stats today all them threads where dropped to 0.
So that's why all of you lost posts.

And the reason I got a higher post count is because all the post counts changed via the Admin CP was also changed. Some one gave me a lower post count then what I had. So when everything was recounted I came out higher.
