New Gaming Sections

Well there was a plan for an Arcade somewhere else,but that didn't fall through.

So here's an idea.How about we have our gaming section modified.
Like have a forum in other games for PS2,XBOX,GameCube,Handheld,and PC.

And each have there own sub-forums including Codes(maybe),Walkthroughs,General,Help,Strategies,and anything else you think would be good.

We already have the ok of One admin,now all we need is member approval,and other staff approval.

In the long run i think this could definately help make PC a bigger place.

I disagree. Other Games isn’t too active as it is, and segregating out forums for each of the consoles would cause it to grow rather stale. Generally we try to avoid over specialization in any non-Pokémon area, because we are a Pokémon forum.

I see your point,but if you look at it,Games doesn't have much room to grow.And if you're saying it would take over PC,it won't,it has already been done,look how many non pokemon forums and subs you have.

I don’t mean it’d take it over, rather than it’d actually lessen activity in there. Sub-forums -can- actually do that, if there’s not already an overwhelming amount of activity. As is, the threads aren’t really getting “chocked” in there, like say, they were in MCG when we split it.

But i believe that they can be "chocked" in there if we make it more organized.Lets have the members view on this though,im not looking to make trouble,but to help PC grow,i mean have you seen Gaming forums,they're huge,and i think this idea can help PC get up there.

i say no.It would make it to much of a hassle to have 10+ subs.

Im not saying add 10+ subs,just have it a little more open to have more detailed topics discussed.

Sure, of course we want to hear everyone. And…that was a typo, I meant choked. As is it’s not even doing a page a day of topics, so there’s no difficulty in finding the kind of topic you want. @_@;

At the moment is ok, if it gets too hard to view something well thats when it should be taken into consideration.

I agree with Abby on this one. Being someone who checks up on Other Games often, it isn't very active, and dividing it further would cause the sub forums to become even less active, and possibly dead. =/

How many times do we need to say it? If we divided an already neglected forum, what do you think would happen? It would end up being neglected even more. Sorry to burst your bubble, but PC itself is nowhere near as populated as other forums like IGN and GameFAQs, let alone the games section.

Ok i'm not tryin to be rude but try making a video game message board from a free board like proboards.. just put a link of your message board name on your sig to get more gamers of all systeams to your board. It's just an idea...it could work like i said it's an idea it's up to you if you want to or not

I think it's a good idea, as myself visit the Other Games section quite a lot. It would keep it more orginized and easier to post things.
