Hey there. Just experimenting with movesets, and I figured i'd post some up to see what you guys think, perfect them a bit and see if there is a way to make them better. Here is a Starmie I figured out.
Starmie
lum berry
Don't know of a good personality. i leave that up to you guys
evs to Sp. Attack and Speed.
Confuse Ray
Thunder Wave.
Thunderbolt
Ice beam
a bolt beamer and nasty annoyer. I've been victimized by the confuse ray thunder wave combo several times myself, and I find it interesting to be able to turn that back against them.

wasnt this like a common gsc set? but it had surf > beam/bolt and option of recover... =\
btw, nice banner

Thanks. :D
I was aiming for a general annoyer with some powerful moves. He doesn't get a sweep bonus, but he does have powerful SP. attack, which helps make up for the difference somewhat, though probably not nearly as much as if it were on a lapras or Lantern.
Still, thoguh, I guess Recover could go in place of either the Thunderwave or Confuse ray, but I think the bolt and beam are best where they are.
And I still need a personality for it. The book I got that helps me with this stuff didn't come with a personality guide. :\

though the special attack is still important. :\ you don't want to sacrifice it's strengths. If timid reduces Sp. attack, then it woudl be best going someplace else.
if it doesn't, then Timid will do.

Ah. That'll work. :)
I've also got a gengar movest somewhere...
I make movesets for fun now.
I wish my netbattle was working. i'd be curious to see how this moveset fairs.
So basically to all netbattlers out there, if oyu would try this guy out in a netbattle and tell me how he does, i woudl greatly appreciate it.

I am? That's what they call it? :D
"Luke, I am your father!" hehe.
Seriously though, I didn't realize I was making a moveset very close to one previously made. Was it a good one, or is a Deathstar a bad thing? :\

but annoyers arent worth a slot in a team... id rather just have a c ray here, a t wave there... like having c ray on lapras... but not making a whole poke just to annoy =\

"Annoyer" isn't even a **** pokemon role this reminds me of Serebii.net or something
TSS may not work, but offensive teams based around sandstorm for negating the leftovers of stallish pokemon such as blissey and suicune sure as hell do work. it's what i use on my standard team
