Furret: @ salac berry
Nature + speed -sp a
252 evs speed, 248 attack, 8 hp
assist, sub, reversal, shadow ball
smeargle: salac berry 252 speed, attack
assist, spore, belly drum
hypno: 252 evs def, sp def leftovers
assist
delcatty: 252 speed, 252 attack choiceband
assist
persian: choice band 252 speed, attack
assist
mewoth: choice band 252 speed, attack
assist
it doesnt sound like it works but it does if the luk is on ur side. i use assist, (50% chance of sleep) and activate spore, then i sub, and assist again for belly drum. i then sweep with reversal or shadow ball for ghost types. once sub breaks, i sub 1 more time (hence 8 evs in hp), leaving me with 1 life. i get my speed berry activated, and sweep for even more damage. it is the new medicham reversal, but better! (1000 attack and 459 speed with berry) 306 speed w/o berry
and yes, it does work and i have beaten ppl with it

I just have to ask. What if you get taunted by your opponent? Or Furret somehow faints? This team seems to live on Furret alone...

my new UU team that rocks!
If by "UU" you mean "a mix of NU/UU", and if by "rocks" you mean "sucks", then yes you are completely and utterly correct. Give the man a prize, Johnny!
After Furret and Smergle have fainted:
> Meowth used Assist!
> Meowth used Persian's Assist!
> Meowth's attack failed!

Yeah, I'm sorry to say this, but it's not really that great of a team. As they said, what if Taunt is used?
kirby00
January 18th, 2005, 02:09 AM
assist works even if ur whole team is dead *except for pokemon using it* also it does 6x0 ko opponents i have fought before. and also with my trick, ppl can now see that any pokemon that learns assist can use any move *except sketch*, as long as smeargle learns that move. plus if u dont like the spore at 50% chance, then take out belly drum, and if u dont like belly drum at 50% chance take out spore. IT does work, i have used it against ppl before. and with it having 1000 attack, it is stronger than medicham even if it doesnt have stab. also it doesnt use up the pp of the pokemon that has the orignal move, so u can use that move as many times as assist even if assist has more pp than the actual move.

I saw this team on NetBattle. Its terrible, the opponent was using moves like Rapid Spin offensively on purpose and the team took a VERY long time to kill an opponent who was playing to lose.
kirby00
January 18th, 2005, 11:11 PM
i dont rememebr using furret versus a rapid spinner... maybe u were thinking of my friend on netbattle who uses a similar strategy with a hypno... anyways, all it needs is for the opponent to use a none direct attack like dragon dance and then furret can sub and assist a belly drum the next turn. yes it is hard 2 use, but its a fun team and puts a whole new meaning on UU pokemon.

can u not call this team crap? omg u r vicious, anyways its a fun team, and it also points out the power of assist with smeargle on ur team. hmm, well, maybe it could use assist for spore, and add on a strat from there.

Or, maybe we should only use monsters that have Metronome, and leave everything to hax. Maybe we should just use OHKO moves so that Pocket Monsters becomes like flipping a coin. Now, that's strategy. You may as well be telling us that quality move-sets aren't needed; as indicated by not only the level of quality of you team, but of your comments regarding it, as well.
If this team were a contest ticket, it would read: "Sorry, please play again. Not valid in Québec." You don't happen to be from Québec, because your "team" doesn't even seem to quality as such?

I cannot believe u just said all that for no reason but to annoy me and piss me off while insulting me. since u have no other reason to say that don't talk about my teams anymore, i dont mind if u feel its bad and u say it, but don't go overboard and try 2 hurt my feelings, not my team... i cannot believe i am telling you this, these r things ppl should already know...

Teams can be "fun", but they should also work at the same time, and use some sort of dependable strategy.
If you want a good rate, post a good team. This is something you should already know...
kirby00
January 21st, 2005, 02:25 AM
i didnt want it rated, i wanted 2 just show a new type of strategy. and it actually does work verry well, it has some weaknesses, but when they arent there it works very good and better than some other overused strategies... its also good b/c it surprises the opponent. again, as i said before, i dont want u rating my teams anymore. unless you apologize or say sumthign worth hearing in your next post, or at least sumthing remotely nice, then i wont read it, so again, dont rate this team again, i mean it b/c no1 will be here 2 read it, unless u personally ask them to, but then again no1 should be that desperate.

As Khold simply put it. This is a "crap team". I haven't seen you post any better team than this on this board.
I would not associate telling someone that his or her strategy is rubbish with rating a team. To each his own, I suppose.
I'm not a "nice" person, so you won't be getting any words of praise from me for something that I consider low quality. The same applies to everyone else, not just youself, so do not consider my comments directed only at you. If someone else posts a rubbish team, I'll tell that person that their team is rubbish just as much as I have told you that now.

My team is literally invincible. And I haven't played for years.
#1 Snorlax
lvl 255high (legit) - 255 is as high as the level can ever go, then I split it off into 255low, 255med, 255high. High beats med, med beats low
hp- 999
att- 900
def- 720 (never gets hit, no need for it)
the other values don't match with his performance, so it would be a waste to post them.
Equipped attacks(just from memory):
hyper beam x5
double punch x10
tackle x30
double edge x15
vs 6 guys I can hyper beam the first 5, then double punch the last one.
Even against other guys at level 255, the few that have the speed to go against him, don't pack that much power to take him down. My friend had a high level aerodactyl, and that couldn't cause more than 100 hp at a time. Plus he is pretty well guaranteed to hit.
#2 Missingno. omniversion (legit)
lvl- 255
his stats are about half of my snorlax's
Missingno. comes in several variants, with the rarest being the omniversion. They are only distinguishable from one another by their stats. There is one for each stat, with that stat being the highest but all the others being low. for example Missingno. attackversion has high attack, but low everything else. Omniversion has the high stats of all the other Missingno. Defense on them is always poor(most only have a defense of 5, the defense and onmi versions have like 10).
Caught both of them myself in the wild, with no cheats or hacks. I have no corruption on my game pack either, My friends tried this and lost some of their data.
they both work in singleplayer and battle mode.
I also have a Mew, but I don't use him all that much.

You seem to have missed the hyper beam and the fact that my Snorlax would go first. I can hyper beam your first 5 guys to death in one shot each. My hyper beams can hit ghosts as well. Then my Missingno. can kill a 6th one. Like I said, he is the omniversion, he can be taught ANY attack that there is. I could give him psychic, ghost, fire and water moves if I wanted. Or even a dragon move. In other words, ghost types are far too easy prey for my team. That is why I do not need to worry about them. Besides, If you got those 2, my Mew could kill you. He may only be lvl 100, but he is as every bit as strong as Mewtwo can be, but with a wider variety of attacks.

So what exactly is ******** about my posts?
When I can get my hands on a camera, I will even give you pictures if you want. We have proven that all but the fastest pokemon are slower than my Snorlax as well.
If you are just too poor of a player to get the good pokemon, just follow this link: http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gameboy/file/pokemon_missingno.txt
If you are a good player, you can get better pokemon than what he said in there.

People said this was a crap team?
ROFLMAO
If luck is on your side, this team can sweep anything, Furret OHKO's Skarmory, I mean, what other physical attacker can do that?
To see the results of what this team can do, go to the Battle Logs section, and look under the Furret topic I posted.
Seriously, it works very well, if you can Spore first that is.
I've even "stolen" it and made it as a team for fun, it's fun as to use, and it can 6-0 any team with ease after Furret gets set up.

How about a team full of OHKOers?
Those don't always work as well as most people seem to think. Sure, when they connect they can cause serious damage, but some of those attacks have a recharge turn after. So if they miss a few attacks in a row, they have a poor chance of winning. Just my personal experience with them.
And yes shiny, I have played FF7 before.

lionheart you stole my idea? omg, but thx for your support. i actually made spore 60% and belly drum 40% so i can first spore, or if they have a lum/chesto berry, manage to spore again. he is right tho, with a belly drum reversal it does 1hko skarmary, im glad sum1 agrees. also i have a similar strat with linoone: extreme speed, flail, endure, belly drum. I usually have venasaur use sleep powder and leech seed, then i switch to linoon,e and if they havent switched i belly drum and extreme speed. if i find that it isnt strong enough, or i know the opponent is faster, i use endure activate salac, and flail. its a good surprise, since most ppl think u will only use extreme speed, and especially since u have 956 attack after belly drum (with speed nature, not attack). its the strongest flail b/c it has stab and 956 attack after just 1 turn, and is the only pokemon next to furret who has the speed, the move belly drum/assist, and the move flail/reversal.
the only ways to beat this strat: have pokemon w/ intimidate, roar, whirl wind, haze, and tyranitar (sandstream). however, roar and whirlwind also go last, so they will either be put to sleep or 1hkoed by then
haze only works if i havent activated my salac berry, and u r still faster than 306 speed. intimate is the best bet if u dont have ty b/c u can switch in. the only pokemon that could use this strat well enough r gyrados, ty-tar, or weezing. (maybe salamence too). the fact it is resistant and causes -1 attack helps it survive, or by weezing being able to survive 1 hit and using haze. t-tar is the best way to beat me b/c he is guaranteed to kill me w/ 5 turns.

Sephiroth there is no OHKO attack that needs recharging.
And Society, I don't know what the **** you don't understand about it being a fun team??
No one said it was skill either, it' fun, the people on some of the servers don't understand the fun concept either, I got tempbanned 3 times in a row just because I was using Furret.
Then I look in Alper's info and he has a Furret aswell. Not cool.

Well like I said Lion Heart, it has been a while since I played, but I remember from when I used to that if you missed or the attack didn't kill them in one hit, some would need time to recharge.(Hyperbeam from red, blue and yellow springs to mind, and solarbeam needs the recharge first.)

Hyper Beam: Normal - 5 - Damages opponent for extreme (and sometimes lethal) Type-less damage, but it takes two turns to use (attacks on the first turn, rests on the second turn).
from http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gameboy/file/pokemon_ability.txt
If you use Hyper Beam in Red/Blue/Yellow, the next turn it will say Pokemon is recharging, and you can't use any of their moves.
And as for people catching on, thats the beauty of it, doesn't matter how fast you catch on, there is no set strategy that can work against my team. The only way to beat this team is to get faster and stronger pokemon. Even putting them to sleep is pointless. When they fall asleep, I just wake them up next turn, and due to the differences in speed, I will get 2 turns in a row, first to wake up and the second to take down the other pokemon. Then I have first shot at most of the other pokemon which does end the battle rather quickly.
I have even taken it against a friends team of similar pokemon(2 lvl 255 aerodactyls, 1 mew, 1 charizard, 1 Venusaur and 1 Blastoise), the other ones were all lvl 100, with all the stat boosters that they could take. His aerodactyls were faster than my Snorlax, but he could hyperbeam them in one hit, his aerodactyls couldn't take over a quarter of my hitpoints in one shot. I never had to use more than one pokemon for the fight. The only team that has beaten my small team was one of 6 lvl255 aerodactyls. I managed to take down 5 of his pokemon with my 3.
Plus, I have like 10 Missingnos without any glitches, if you guys caught him, you would probably see some glitches start appearing. My friends tried and they had a whole range of problems, from a box just losing all of its pokemon to having a copy of their person follow them around.

You are really badly stuck in the past, seriously.
Get yourself a copy of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire or Leaf Green/Fire Red, because I'm pretty sure you are blabbing about a team on Red/Blue.
And also buddy, you said something about OHKO moves needing recharging, Hyper Beam isn't a OHKO move, so maybe you could research before posting.

January 26th, 2005, 11:18 PM
Actually it was a team I was able to raise on yellow. But I have seen some supposed OHKO moves on Sapphire. They don't necessarily work as OHKO moves. They seem to have a lvl range that they will work up to, like 5 or 10 levels above the pokemon using it, at least to me.

Like I said before Ice Rabbit, this is neither a regular, nor a fake Snorlax. He is the glitched version, caught without any cheats, and he has the ability to kill ghosts with normal attacks. If he was a regular Snorlax, ghosts would be able to beat him, but the point is, he isn't a regular Snorlax. http://www.angelfire.com/pokemon2/animerpg/missing_number.html
