... Mods and admins shouldn't be allowed to reopen a closed topic just to add a snide remark, and then close it again. It's really immature.

Actually, mods and admins can post in a thread without reopening it.

I believe Iveechan means this thread (http://pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=770384#post770384).
It wasn't against the rules, but it could be seen as rude. The thread was against PC rules anyway, and I'm sure Steve didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings.
Proof!

You could consider your career as a psychic.
Steve really didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. Surely you guys know that~ ^ ^ However, he might have made a mistake, and people learn from their mistakes...right? =)

There are a lot more threads that I have seen in the past - No, I have no link - that have been posted in more than twice after they were closed. I don't think it's very fair or respectable to post in a thread that was meant to be closed, and that most members here have no chance to give their final opinion in.

I see nothing wrong with putting in a last word. I mean if some one locked a thread and a last word needed to be put in (like "What was said was wrong, the Daycare is on Four Island not Five").
And if Steve wants to wish a member on his/her way then that's fine too. I mean what he said is true, I wouldn't want to be the member leaving PC. Yes it might have been rude to the member, but does it matter? I mean it's not like the member is going to care what Steve says if he/she is leaving.

I don't see anything wrong with it. First of all she's leaving PC for unpairing or something as I see it. Second What Steve does really doesn't concern anyone but the staff like this.

Steve didn't make a bad final comment after it had been locked. It wasn't as if he posted just to flame after the lock ^^;

An admin's actions are final and are to be justified by nobody. That's the reason they have their adminship. If you don't like what Steve did, take it up with him personally. He had every right to, considering that person was breaking the rules. Sorry, but that's how it works. ^^;

Agreed. Considering that Steve won't lose his adminship, this thread really has no point. If the problem is personal, contact Steve himself.
I'll lock it for now. Higher staff can re-open if they believe this should be.
