Pokemon Center New York Closes

Hello everybody. As we all know, I am from New York. So I would like to wish a sad farewell to the Pokemon Center here, which is closing. After 3 good years, it is time to say goodbye. They are renovating the store and reopening as a Nintendo store in the spring. Goodbye, PCNY. We will miss you dearly. ~origin

Wow, that is a surprise. I've been planning to go visit there myself, but being in England it's kinda expensive. I hope they make a Pokemon Centre in England, that would be nice and a lot easier for me and the other English Pokemon fans.

dude, thats what you think.. what they put up on the website isnt always true.. they are remodeling the store into A NINTENDO STORE. no more pokemon, only a SMALL SECTION. i have been there myself, and asked workers.. notify me if you would like to contact a formerworker and see for yourself

Depending on your interpetation of that line, well, that's the whole arguement.

Well, it's not closing for good, they're just remodeling... I hope they don't change it too much, though. I really like the other games from Nintendo, but I want the store to stay a Pokémon center. *cringes* If they change too much then they'll be hearing from me! Well, the major TCG events are held on the rockefeller concourse, so those will probably be there. I think the other events are fairly well attended, so they'll probably still have them.

Yeah people. Look, the Pokemon Center is closing for some remodoling. It's opening back in the spring. Thats like 2 months away! So people please stop acting like is closing forever cause it's not.

when i plan to go there (not any more since it a Nintendo Store now) i most like walk around and buy nothing.

oh well. an other dream that will not be fulfill. I mean that you can find other stores with nintendo products in it. Gamestop, eb games, wal-mart. but you can't find other stores with excluese pokestuff.

hmmm... people dont seem to be listening to me, I went to the Pokemon Center myself, and i am friends with some of the workers. It is confirmed the new Nintendo store opening in place of the Pokemon store will have a small corner of Pokemon merchandise

yeah, I did a report on it on PPN and VROAD, they're supposed to open back up in Spring of this ear.With bunches of new stuff.
