Zelda Series: Redeads and Gibdos

Have you ever been attacked by those monstrousities? In which game?

I dunno what I should do. They're too... scary. Even if they're video-game rendered 3D. Too much for me. *shivers*

And... they... give.. you. a. hump. on. the. hh..head if-you-get-too-close...

Have you ever gotten near one or dared do so?

Actually, when I asked my brother Dragon_Master to show me what they looked like (I knew what they were already since he shown me once) he shown me Ikana Canyon. Outside Pamela's house, a Gibdo was walking around. When he got near it, it made a loud scream! The courage I had to watch the screen any longer faded away, and I ran outside the room as they monstrous creatures humped Link's head.

Who else has had similar problems? ;_;

Well yeah, in some cases it's necessary to face them.

In Ocarina of Time, the only way to kill them is to shoot them with Light Arrows, or to use the Mirror Shield to reflect sunlight on them and then slash them. You get lots of money for killing them. I do it a lot so I can afford things when I need them. :)

It's been so long since I've played the other two that I can't remember what to do. Ocarina of Time just sticks out like a sore thumb.

They don't really hump your head. They uhh...lack definition down there. o_O

More like eat it. They aren't so scary in Wind Waker. They're really weird in Super Smash Bros. Melee though...

It's so much fun to taunt them in Ocarina of Time and then kill them. I really enjoyed that a lot.

First time I ran across the horrors was in OoT as well. (Which was the 1st game they appeared in anyway I believe) I remember that I jumped when I first heard that horrible scream. Afterwards I simply ran past when I encountered them. What I really hated was passing the ones in the Market (future/dark Hyrule) since you often had to make frequent visits to the Temple of Time.

Why I've never gotten past turning into Adult Link in Oot...

I do like some undead (FOR THE SCOURGE!), but ReDeads are just...GET AWAY YOU FREAKS!

And yeah, the ones in Wind Waker just look dumb, but their screech is annoying...

The first time I played OoT, the ReDeads freaked me out. I was terrified of them. I don't know why but I had this odd fear that they would destroy my game. :\

I like shotting Fire Arrows at Gibdos...

And it's not a hump, I think TWW showed what's going on a bit more clearly. It's like they're gnawing at your head. And in TWW ReDeads sound like elephants.

How can you be afraid of them in MM? They dance! You gotta love that!

I don't get scared when they dance if I'm wearing a mask they like. They glomp you up. O.o;

I hate the Paralyzing in MM and OoT. I Love the sun's song to freeze em'.

You can just beat them up with your sword, but it takes a few hits before they go down. You'll also be hurt quite a bit too.

In TWW their screams are disturbing.

Ughh... I hate those things. I'm used to them now, but before I was freaked. I like burning the toilet paper (?) off of gibdos in MM

The elite on Halo 2 reminds me of them as well.

I think they are really freaky, but in OoT i freeze them or in MM I put on the Gibdo mask. In WW, they are not so freaky anymore, but I can't remember what I did to kill'em......

i always thought that they rearranged your face or something.. ._. and like poked your eyes out..

I remember in OoT, I had to get my friend to get the Sun's Song for me since you had to go through that area with all the ReDeads. I was so scared of them. >_< Like.. I wouldn't go NEAR them. I finally had to overcome my fear when I became an adult and I had to walk from the Temple of Time to Hyrule Field everytime I played. XD;; Jeez, it was pathetic.

But... that scream... ;_;

I was terrified of them. I didn't bother getting the Sun's Song as Young Link my first time around. I chickened out when I saw one. As Adult Link I actually charged through right down the middle, taking damage from that "water", with my eyes closed. Lol

Oh my gosh, those things are sooo creapy in OoT, but in MM those things are fun to burn and they start dancing on fire!

They're so scary! I was terrified when I crossed thruogh the market place, so I had to get my brother to do it for me (and he would only have been 8 at the time XD). They were so creepy. I didn't mind the scream to be honest, but I was just terrified of them. I remember the first time I saw one, I stabbed it, and it started humping the head, then more and more came. I was scared stiff! XD

Re-deads?! Where?! *Pulls out guns.* They scared me the first time I saw them, sweeties! Really, I jumped when I saw them, and the erry camera thing happen. ><;

I remember when my lil brother was playing MM, he somehow did a Matrix like scene when attackng a Gibdo! He did a jump attack, and the camera and Gibdo moved. XD

I don't think the ones in Ocarina of Time are that bad. The ones in the Wind Waker are kinda creepy, though. But I'm more scared of things from other games like the eel in Mario 64 or the swamp creatures in Banjo Tooie.

i've never played OOT but I have played WW and thoe guys freak me out even then, in WW link's facial expressions react to his enemies and ppl he meets, and when he goes face to face with those thing, his eyes get all wide and his pupils go small, it's so scary! (noy link, the weirdos XD) I couldn't face them for awhile and then finaly I got the courage to roll away from them as fast as possible XD they designed them to be scary on purpos >_<;; XD

Those things are at once scary and annoying. On the Sun's Song mini-quest, I died like three times before I got to the tablet. I wish they'd make a weapon only used to kill those things.
