Bargains/Vouchers/Sales Thread

In this thread, you can share the gaming deals that are going around, whether it is a big Steam sale, a new offer on consoles/games/accessory or anything to do with Video Games, you can share them here.

If you post in here, please operate under the following rules:

[S-HIGHLIGHT]No advertising
This might seem like a bit of an odd rule, but I mean don't spam a company or website endlessly; if they have a good deal, tell us about it and why.
Who is it for?
Some offers might only be for certain consoles and parts of the world, so please state who is eligible.
All PC wide rules apply
Because why wouldn't they! :3
[/S-HIGHLIGHT]
This is here for the community to share the load on good offers and deals they have found, so it is a tool for you guys; use it as you like under the rules, but if it is abused, it will be taken away.

I will try and have a 'Deal of the -insert amount of time here-' at a later date.

Yep! I totally forgot about this. I bought it this week. 7 days left on that one.

THQ Humble Bundle (http://www.humblebundle.com/), 6 games for $1 including their soundtracks, or say $5.60 or so and get Saints Row: The Third also. I'd advise signing up to their newsletter, the deals they do are great! Might I add that the current deal includes Steam keys so they can each be activated. I paid the $5.60 for the Saints Row also, totally worth it.

Origin are doing 66% off Capcom titles, and there are some good games thrown in there if anyone is interested.

Also, Steam are doing 75% off a popular, top-selling game every day. The current game, Terraria, is almost up, so if that game doesn't interest you at £1.49 then you can wait a few hours for the next offer to be up.

Steam also have some Midweek Madness sales which includes; 50% off Lego LoTR and 75% off Sims 3. There are other games thrown around Steam on sale so it's worth checking it out.

It's a bit of a small deal, but Ni no Kuni (http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2013/01/22/ni-no-kuni-wrath-of-the-white-witch-will-be-slightly-cheaper-on-the-psn/) was released yesterday in North America and it's $55 on PSN as opposed to $60.

Eh, thanks for the correction. My monitor which I am temporarily using has a lack of sharpness in color so I can't really see which games have been outlined by the black box. I just assumed it was the 4 you could buy because, from what I remember, that's how it normally is.

My apologies.

I picked it up for Thomas Was Alone which I enjoyed, although not as much as the internet implied I would. Dear Esther isn't much of a game but it's a brilliant example of a story that couldn't really be told by any other medium. I never regretted it buying it before the bundle and it's worth checking out now that it's included with lots of other games. Those are the only games I've played from it so far though. :x

The Steam Sale is Officially on!

Not only are there a plethora of games on sale until the 22nd, but you can also win Trading Cards for every $10 that you use! These cards can be traded or sold on the Steam Market. Now before you go off to buy all those games you never got to, here are some things that you should consider:

Don't jump to buy a game that is part of the sale simply because it's on Sale. The Flash Sale and the Community's Choice may yield a better discount than a standard Steam Sale discount. Patience can be your greatest tool when looking for the best deal. Watch for Daily Deals, of course, but Flash Deals and Community's Choice should take precedence, as they often yield the best discounts the sale has to offer.

While the Steam Sale is nice, it may also be smart to look to other sites for better deals. GreenmanGaming, Gamer's Gate, and Getgames Go are just a few examples that always have incredible deals, so don't limit yourself. Having said that, keep the previous tip in mind.

Keep a careful watch of the Flash Sale and the Community Choice. The Flash Sales last 8 hours and show deals for four games. The Community's Choice lasts the same amount of time and is dictated by 3 sales that are put up for a vote. The game that gets the most votes will have a sale for a set amount of time, until the next Community Choice sale. Then, of course, there's the Daily Sale, which lasts for 24 hours.

Put games on your wishlist. If there's a game you really want and you don't want to have to keep looking at the Steam Sale for a better deal, put the game on your wishlist so that you will get e-mails about deals for games on your wishlist.

Amazon has the XCOM Collection for $9.99 if you're in the US. It's got all 6 XCOM games and some DLC/EXpansion packs for Enemy Unknown. It's basically a download for a Steam key pack. It's an even better deal than buying them all individually on Steam right now.

Pretty neat deal going on for select games at Best Buy (Including Fire Emblem: Awakening, New Super Luigi U, and others) -- 15$ each.

Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics are downloadable free for two days on GOG (http://www.gog.com/promo/fallout_series_giveaway_winter_promo_2013). These unofficial patches (http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/1sptez/fallout_1_2_and_tactics_free_for_two_days_from_gog/cdzzh7b) may be useful as well.

I'm kicking myself because I'm late; GAME have a PC Downloads Advent Calendar (http://www.game.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HubArticleView?hubId=268803&articleId=268804&catalogId=10201&langId=44&storeId=10151&cm_sp=xmas-_-PCDLadventcal-_-2013), they get a good game everyday (most of the time with DLC) and make it 75% off. I'd check it out if I were you.

The Steam Holiday Sale is Officially on!

GreenmanGaming, Gamer's Gate, Nuuvem, and Getgames Go are just a few examples that always have incredible deals, so don't limit yourself.

To the above, http://isthereanydeal.com is a good site to use for comparing prices.

I've only just noticed this one so I thought I'd post it in case other people hadn't seen it. (It might be UK only so I apologise if it is region specific)

Anyway basically register a 3DS/3DS XL on club nintendo along with a game (there's 15 eligible ones, Pokemon X/Y count so assuming you have one of those you'll be good to go) and you get a free download code for Super Mario 3D Land.

I hadn't registered my console or game up to that point so it was a nice thing to see randomly on Amazon.
