Hey there SMercury and welcome to PokeCoummnity. If you're a ROM hacker, you'd definitely enjoy yourself at the Emulataion (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156) forums here.

Would you mind telling us a little more about yourself? Like what your interests are in terms of Pokemon and non-Pokemon related topics. You don't necessarily need to, but it would help us get to know you better.

Anyhow, I hope you have a great time here at PokeCommunity :D

Hey there Mercury, welcome to PC and it's good to meet youuu! I'm from New York too, so that's pretty cool. :3

So you're working on a game, huh? Well, stop by Emulation and have a blast exploring through all the tools our experienced hackers have made for other aspiring hackers like yourself! <3 Although I don't post much around that section, I still have a special place for fangames in my heart since I wouldn't have found out about PC without them. There really are a lot of great games there, though - Shiny Gold and Prism were my favorites for a long while, ehe. If you have a simple question about ROM hacking, you can ask in the Simple Questions (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=79614) thread and there's also the useful Script Help Thread (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=163576) if you're confused about scripts and getting them to work. There are a lot of other useful sticky threads there though, so make sure to look through them to make sure you're posting in the right place over there. ^^ If you're ever lost with that section, you can always contact the section moderators, giradialkia or DrFuji!

But yeah, we're really glad to have you so it's awesome that you joined up. :D I'm sure you'll keep yourself occupied for a long while on PC since there's just so much to do even outside of hacking! You can talk about the Pokemon games, anime, manga, cards, battle, trade, and lots of other things as well as off-topic discussions. Pretty great place for a Pokemon fan, if I do say so myself~

So have a good stay and you can always contact a staff member if you're confused about anything at all!
