All 251

Does/has anyone ever actually achieved completing the Gold/Silver Pokedex without using Gameshark? At the moment I've got 226, I need to evolve my Snubbull, Nidorino, Koffing, Larvitar, Omanyte, Ponyta, Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil. I also have to trade in a Kabuto, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Do you get any kind of reward for completing the Pokedex? Its kinda a bummer to know that I won't get all 251 when I can't get Celebi.

I did. It took a while, but I did manage to catch'em all.. including Celebi, which i got at the Celebi Tour. It's awesome to complete it.

Besides I managed to get all the unown species and had every single pokémon, not just their evolved forms, meaning i had all species separatly and sorted nicely on numbered boxes from 001 to 251 and so on :)

I never got all of them in GSC but I got insanely close in RBY. I only needed lke 5 more.

I got them all after awhile... I got Mew and Celebi from the Pokemon Center in NYC 8D!!! Best thing was.. the Mew was shiny... now what are the chances of that happening!!??! I had a heart attack O.O

The closest I got was 249 i was only missing mew and celebi we dont have places in the uk where u can get those pokemon. But i am gonna try and get 386 in emerald. I dont use codes. I go hunting for them. ^^

yup i got upto 250 .. once. in my last hdd i did it with roms. i used two emulaters to trade between red, blue and silver. i got mew with the glitch ... and the rest normally. ^_^ felt bad without the celebi

on my ruby I got all 252. I got a deoxys from my freind.

er... in ruby the pokedex limit is 386. 252 is nothing. then again if its for rs pokemon only...

MAN dont u feel bad for not getting celebi and filling up a pokedex?

In Silver I had 249. All I needed was a Rapidash (from Blue) and Celebi.

I got all 250 once. My friend had gotten Celebi from a mall event. I had about 250 by then. I took me about 5 months to get all but Mew. I had one of each, in their appropriate box (I had one for each type).

Well I don't have them all anymore. I tranfered them to Pokémon Stadium 2 and reset Silver. Does that count?

but unlike you noobs, ALL of my pokemon got to level 100... absol was first to 100 by about 20 levels though... rattata was next (yes, rattata, with thunder and blizzard)

(18 including evo's.... i think i had like 12 total)

ive made it to 249 without gameshark, its not THAT hard, you just need no life during the summer, and im doing it again in fr. But I can never get Mew and Celebi on Silver without gameshark. Which is all going to change soon, once i pull through with the Mew glitch. Hey, is there a way to get Celebi on crystal other then getting the Japanese Version and the Game Boy Colour wireless adapter (only released in Japan)

250 is the highest I have in my Pokemon Gold game. No cheats, just me and one other friend. I need Celebi BADLY. There was no "Celebi Mall Tour" that I knew about where I live (Oregon BTW) and I'm NO WHERE close you New York.

I got all the 250 in Crystal except Celebii, but when I was going to trade over Celebii from a friend the game crashed and the save file was lost, I was miserable!

I know, it sux. All they ever give you is that lousy virtual certificate. You could print it off in GSC iirc. Woohoo, Ill keep that in mind if I ever find a GB Printer.
