How do you hold pens/pencils?
If it's difficult to describe, feel free to post a picture, instead.

Here's mine

Yup, I hold it in a weird way. But I can't control the pen/pencil when I try to hold it in other ways.

HAHA OMG! I was about to describe how I hold my pencil but you do it the same way as me, slender. I even angle it so it rests in the webby-bit of my hand like you, too! (So the bottom of my thumb doesnt touch the pencil.) Everyone thinks I'm weird for it but I"VE FOUND A SOUL SISTAAA!

Not gonna post a picture cause camera's poop.

Buuuut, I use my thumb a lot more than you Jess. Mainly, I use my thumb, index, and middle fingers.

I do it a little like you Dipu. I use 3 fingers to hold my pen.

Usually I have two fingers and my thumb on the pencil or pen , two fingers hanging off the edge of the pen/pencil.

i think it's pretty much the normal way to hold a pen

That's how I old it. It's oddly uncomfortable at times because I don't like how the pen feels on the area between my thumb and index finger. And I feel like I hold it too close to the base.

Haha~ I hold it exactly how Slenderman does in her pic! XD I don't have as much control when I grip with fewer fingers too. People say to me "you have neat handwriting for a guy", so it works at least lol. :P

I use mostly my thumb and index finger to hold the pencil.

Yeah I hold my pens like this. Except my hand makes more of an O shape.

That's how I hold mine, except I use my left hand when I write.

It doesn't feel right when I hold it any other way.

I'm left-handed. My thumb is either parallel along the pen or a bit above it, and then my index and middle finger push against the thumb or pen. Or at least that's how I held it when I wrote some test sentences just now.

I also tend to drag my hand across the paper, which will result in smearing the side of my hand, especially if I use pencil.

I'm holding a pen this way, right-handed.

I hold my pen in the same way as Slenderman does, except that my thumb and index finger cover a lot more area than the middle one.
