Who was your first friend in life? Are you still friends with this person? How has this person impacted your life?

A friend that I've known since I was less than a year old.
Our families were originally neighbors, in an apartment complex (across the street from each other). I'm 6 or so months older than him, but we couldn't have met until after I was at least 7 months old, considering I was too half dead sickly and stuff to leave the hospital until I was around a month old.
Now we see each other several times every week, along with occasionally chatting on facebook or over the phone. We also battle/trade Pokemon from time to time, sometimes placing bets on the battles.

I have 2:
One guy I used to hang out with from when we were 1 years old. Didn't hang out much cause he lived hours away, but his mom and my mom were like best friends or something. The times we did hang out were cool enough.
The other was a more daily best friend kind of guy, who hanged out with me for quite a while. He and I became friends only because I threw a rock at him and he was my neighbor, so I had to say sorry and what not.
I don't talk to either of them a lot anymore since I moved, but I have em on Facebook.

Uh.. either my old neighbour from my second home I lived in, or.. well.. does my little brother count? I'll go with my little brother, though :3

I had a friend who I met in daycare when I was about three or four, we shared Lunchables or something and ended up spending the night at each other's houses every other month xD;
We grew apart in middle school though, and didn't see each other in high school despite going to the same school. Kinda sad, but I have her on Facebook if I ever wanted to get in touch with her again.

My first friend was probably my back-then neighbor. We saw each other everyday since we could walk, and probably before that too. He moved away when I was around 10, so I don't see him much anymore, but he was always a great dude.

I had a friend named Josh I knew since 2nd grade and I still know him. (not really my friend though)
My first friend was probably my cousin Alex though. I still hang out with him though. He's a cool dude.

Hmm probably my cousin who's around a year older than me. :D. I think we met when we were two or three? I still chat to him quite a bit haha and learnt that he likes violent games although he isn't into Pokemon too much. :B
And there were also two boys I used to hang out with in Kindergarten, one was shortr and still hilariously short while the other was quite tall. I still talk to them both quite a bit but we've got our different friendship groups now I suppose you can call it. :P

My first girlfriend was my first friend. We met when we were 4 or 5 and pretty much grew up together. I kind of remember our first meeting. It involved playing on the school playground and being the only two kids who didn't want to play in the new playhouse (that actually turned out to be a shed), but from there it's pretty fuzzy.

My first friend was in my special needs nursery/kiddergarden class, he moved away after year 1/ 1st grade to a main stream school.

My 1st friend is inside my head in its own dimension and life.
No really, I've met my very 1st friend(is still my best friend)when I was in 3rd grade. We were fighting back then, but realized we had a lot in common, including our B-days.

Yup...I have 2:
One is still my best friend, he's muslim like me, we first met in my first school, I'll never forget him. He still a very nice person, he also is from my country, so we meet up there.
There's Another one, he was so cool, but now I hate him. I don't know what happened to him, but one day he just came and said, "I don't want to be your friend anymore!" Now he's kind of a bully. Me and this friend i mentioned earlier used to hang out together.

Sadly, I am not in contact with those who were my first friends. None of the friends I made while I was in Colorado I really keep in contact with. It's a little sad but I guess that is just how life goes. I don't even stay in enough contact with the one who I called my best friend for years here in Florida orz.
... wow this post makes me sound like a lonely before. Point is I do remember them but I do not keep in contact with them anymore.

I met my first friend (my neighbor) when we were both like 2 years old. 16 years later we're still best friends.

If I go way back to when I was living in Europe I don't even remember who my first friend was, but from the time I moved to the US (1999) I remember befriending a kid there who I would never see again, until about 10 years later when I saw a guy that had the same name and looked similar to him. I had changed by then so he couldn't recognize me, but I hinted that we met in the past and he started to freak out; we weren't as close as we used to be, but at least we met each over again and we still hung out and talked.
Haven't really spoken since he graduated, but I got his number and I'll probably text him sometime this week.

The first friend I've ever made I met in Kindergarten (he swears it was pre-school), and he actually lives about several minutes from my house. But after not seeing each other for pretty much seven years (since I moved to AZ) - not counting the times I've visited - we've become really different from each when, as kids, we had a lot in common. He listens to rap, I listen to metal; I still play Pokémon, he stopped. I still consider him a very close friend of mine, but I don't talk to him/hang out with him as much as I think I should. I mean, he's pretty much the only friend I have out here, so it'd make sense to stay in contact with him more often. I'm just really bad at staying in contact with friends, I guess. :\

I'm kinda surprised so many people have kept in touch with their early friends.
I moved when I was young (3rd grade, I think) and I lost touch with pretty much all my friends after that. My first friend might have been my cousin, but I didn't know he was my cousin at the time. I only found out later at some family event thingy and was all "It's you!"
Or it might have been these brothers who lived not far from where I did. Lost touch with them, too. Then I heard that one of them went to the same college I did. I never sought him out though. :/

My first friend was a girl I met in school when I was living in Nebraska. We hung out after school sometimes. Had fun talking about similar interests and cheering when Jack died in Titanic, haha.
I'd been given her address right before I moved away, but then I lost it, so we never got in touch again. I don't even remember her name anymore. :(

Not sure if he was my 'first' friend, but definitely my first best friend. I met him when I was 5 and he was 4, he was playing baseball with his dad in front of the building and I saw them and the dad asked me to join them, and ever since we've been playing together a lot. At the start, we lived in the same building then later on he moved to the building next to me and a few later he moved to another borough. So now it's really hard to see each other since it would take like 45 minutes to an hour to get to each other's place =/
Didn't see him for like 8 years now =/

The first friend I remember having in life was a girl named Brandi. We went to preschool together and are still friends to this day. We don't really talk to each other much, though.

My first friend was my mom's friend's son, Connor. They were pregnant together and he was born six months after me. We hung out all the time as kids and played Pokemon and lots of N64 games. In fact, if it weren't for him and his sister, I might not even be typing this! If you've ever heard my story of how I got into Pokemon, you'd know I forced myself cause my friends were into it. These are said friends haha.
We ended up going to high school together as well, since I eventually moved to his school (not a far move btw) and we were in band together. We don't talk often now, but he's sort of my brother from another mother, so he was protective of me during high school, whether he'd admit that or not.
Our moms still want me and Connor to end up getting married as well. ~_~ lol

My first friend was named Lachlan. We were friends because our older sisters became friends when they started primary school and we happened to be the same age as well. I remember hanging out with him a lot in the early years of my life, and we came back in touch at around 11 or so. We're not friends now because I got a bit annoying and clingy and he started dodging my phone calls and then he didn't come to my 12th birthday party. I was a kid, I wasn't particularly hurt by it but Mum flew off the handle and once your mother hates one of your friends it's very difficult to remain friends with them... so then we just sort of grew apart, which was a shame. He was cool. Oh well though.
We're friends on Facebook now but we don't talk or anything. We're very different people now, we wouldn't get along anyway lol

I DON'T ACTUALLY REMEMBER ;_;
I mean I can only remember three very early friends! But I can't really place how old I was on them. Nevertheless these all weren't actually friends but I was friends with them. I'm just... really unsure on this? Anyway so, there was Jacob who I had a crush on or something idk someone remembered in my family and we got a photo of us with Santa once, then there was Shaun who I had a crush on for longer but I figure I knew him around the same time and we stopped talking because I didn't invite him to my pink birthday party because he was a boy. :3 And then there was Jenaya and I remember playing "let's pretend to be chefs" with mud and stuff in the back yard and going to the fireworks.
But yeah can't really remember ages. :x I do figure that fireworks = I was 8, because that was 2000 and I started Sunday School then so that was pretty early. I'm also pretty sure Shaun was at my 5th birthday party because I remember being given presents that day and stuff that happened, and idr much about Jacob so imma assume he was first friend...?

My first friend in life was one of my cousins, we used to do everything together but sadly we don't talk anymore.

If my brother counts, then him. While I lived up in Canada when I was a little kid I didn't really go out of the house much. :/
Otherwise the first friend I had would be in kindergarten here in Boston, and he's probably the person I'm closest with outside of my family today. :) I remember pretending to go in a time machine back to all different periods of history with another friend I met later. Ah, good times. x)

My first ever friend was a neighbor when I was a little kid. We would hang out together, make forts in his house and play outside. However in third grade it was "no longer cool" to hang out with girls anymore so he abandoned me and stopped talking to me after that.
