"Snuff" by Slipknot
Bury all your secrets in my skin
Come away with innocence and leave me with my sins
The air around me still feels like a cage
And love is just a camouflage for what resembles rage again
So if you love me let me go
And run away before I know
My heart is just too dark to care
I can't destroy what isn't there
Deliver me into my fate
If I'm alone I cannot hate
I don't deserve to have you
My smile was taken long ago
If I can change I hope I never know
I still press your letters to my lips
And cherish them in parts of me that savor every kiss
I couldn't face a life without your light
But all of that was ripped apart when you refused to fight
So save your breath I will not hear
I think I made it very clear
You couldn't hate enough to love
Is that supposed to be enough
I only wish you weren't my friend
Then I could hurt you in the end
I never claimed to be a saint
My own was banished long ago
It took the death of hope to let you go
So break yourself against my stones
And spit your pity in my soul
You never needed any help
You sold me out to save yourself
And I won't listen to your shame
You ran away you're all the same
Angels like to keep control
My love was punished long ago
If you still care don't ever let me know
If you still care don't ever let me know

Killa T - Can't Hide Forever
They want us to be blind forever
They ain't that strong if we ride together
But, they think that can never happen, got a brain trap then wash in the fashion
Rap to pop, and the have us locked
On every dollar that we spend on war
On every channel that we stand to watch
On every artists beats and bar
I'm sick of it, but they so far deep in theyre brains that we can't get rid of it
It's ridiculous, how they got us all to just stick to script
Wrist to wrist invisibly hand cuffs
I don't know about yall, but I ain't stayin sure
Yea you know what they doin to the people that refuse to play by the rules but I had enough
Obama ain't helpin ****
All the govt. is some selfish pricks
But every year we go out and vote
On some ******** we don't even know
Right now, we can't go toe to toe
But with the right info anythings possible
So, let's just get your mind right and we'll fight back when the times right
And if we get to the limelight, they can try and end our eye sight
They makin this **** so blatant
But never givin us the real statement
Don't be surprised if the world really ends and the new world order finally begins
The more they win, the more we sin
Think we good? Think again
America, this isn't far enough I've had it up to here with the damage and the rot character
So stop this noise were not at war we are the war
Blood sucking carnivores, wont stop until we all are poor
Our rights are being stripped can we fight you see this ****
Every night we feed the sicks breathing sick and bring the cyths
Soap our hopes together, na **** the latter
Broke folks, old folks, any folks don't matter
From the batman killers to suffer
Hope your down for this roller coaster soldier
Sanity, only thing we can hold onto
They can destroy anything if they want to
That's not all the lyrics but what I feel every single day. I'm one of the very few like Killa T that isn't brainwashed in society. Obama isn't what you people make him out to be. He's nothing but a puppet, and the government is destroying our country but everybody is too brainwashed and blind to realize it. Yea hate one me all you want cuz idgaf. He didn't make this song for nothin, he made it to send a message and still mother****ers are blind.

'In the End' by Linkin Park.
"Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You* kept everything inside and even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter"
*This part would make more sense in my scenario if it were "I" instead of "you".
(All of it fits, but the bold is specifically fitting)
It works because it's similar to the way I'm working on forgetting about (or ignoring) my past. It shouldn't matter to me anymore.

"Don't be sad, won't happen like this anymore"
"You faith has got to be greater then your fear"
"Forgive them, even if they are not sorry, all the vultures, bootleggers at the door waiting."
"Drop you guard, you don't have to be smarter all the time, I got a mind full of blanks, I've got to go somewhere new fast."
"No one really cares or wonders why anymore, I've got music running out of my hands, and feet, and Kisses."
