Well, I'm new. I'm from Costa Rica. I'm 19 years old. I'm in college.
I've loved Pokemon since I was a kid and I've been a fan.
I'm just a very friendly, clever and funny guy.
So yeah, good to be part of this community.

Welcome to PC Remington! I heard Costa Rica was a beautiful country, I always wanted to visit there along with some other places such as Japan, Brazil, UK and more.
I'm still in High School and when I'm done, I'll be studying game designing if possible. What are you currently studying in your college?
We are all long-time fans, I've been hooked since Leaf Green was out in 2005. Friendly, clever, funny = new friend. Just drop me a VM whenever you want and have fun!

Hi there, Remington! I've been a fan of Pokemon since I was a kid as well! Since I was 8 to be exact, and my first game was red. <3
I'm also in college too, and I'm almost done. :D What are you studying?
Well, to start, PC is a lovely place to be and you'll love it here! You'll meet friends, acquaintences, and lovely staff members! They're realy helpful and amazing. And there's a ton to talk about, so depending on what interests you have, you'll find a great discussion you'll get into!
Well, have fun, and hopefully you stick around!

I'm in college too (a senior to be exact). What are you majoring in? Welcome to the forum and greaaaat to meet you! <3
Oh, there are heaps of older fans here so you're totally not alone. I did some browsing around a thread in Pokemon General yesterday that asked fans how old they were (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=299465) and most people were in their late teens/early 20s. Kind of surprised me but it was amazing to see how many older fans Pokemon has, especially here on PC! Personally I've loved Pokemon since the early days, though my peak of interest was probably in the third generation. Is there any part of the franchise in particular that you're most interested in? Games, anime, cards, hacks, something else? Given how big this community is you'll probably find it all here. Personally I recommend the New Users' Hangout (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=284723) since it's an amazing platform to meet both staff and members alike, so if you're interested, stop by and chat with us!
Glad to hear you're a friendly guy too; we love people like that here. :) You'll probably be able to contribute a lot to the forums as someone who has been into Pokemon since you were a kid, especially if you're the kind of fan who loves a lot of things about Pokemon. I'll be looking forward to having you here and make sure you stick around for a long while to come! The friendships you can make on a site like this one are pretty amazing.
By the way, Costa Rica looks amazing. It is such an amazing travel spot and I truly hope I can go one day.
See you around~

Hi Remington! Nice name you have.
I always thought of Remington as a brand of hair-dryer, but I guess it can make a great username too! You're from Costa Rica? Not often we get members from over there, but it adds to the diversity among our massive memberbase! I'm one of those older fans of Pokemon as well, been a fan since I was 7, and now I'm 20 and I still love Pokemon. It's a franchise I can never grow out of! Any interests as far as Pokemon goes? Favorite Pokemon? Favorite Pokemon games? Favorite type? Yeah so many questions but so little time.
You seem like a friendly guy too, which I think is a sign you'll definitely become an active member. I joined here back in 2011 but never made a thread in this here section, presumably because I was shy and I had no friends. Since you're a longtime fan, you'll definitely love the topics PC has on offer. Are you looking forward to X & Y? The games are gonna be pretty awesome and I love most of the new Pokemon already!
Have a great time here, and if you ever need a friend to help you out just send me a VM! Or just go contact those staff members such as Cirno if you need any help relating to the forums! I'll be seeing ya around dude!
