Hey there Nic! Hooray for more new members, you guys are awesome.

Toshiro's provided you with some great information and we all definitely recommend to check out our Emulation board if you're looking to hack. You can stop by the Team Discussions (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=68) subforum if you're looking to create or join a team, that's the first stop for a lot of beginning hackers. There's also a thread where you can share your hack story idea as well as plenty of other neat little things like tutorials, scripting help, and other useful threads. You'll definitely be required to read its rules before posting, though - a lot of people come here to hack and ignore the rules, which gets them into a wee bit of issues later on. Our Emulation mods (DrFuji and giradialkia) work really hard to make sure the board is tidy for all the people that stop by. They're always around to help out if you need it too, though, as they're both very good hackers. :) So don't be scared to ask them if you need anything!

Outside hacking you can also discuss Pokemon (of course!), video games, anime/manga, music, join clubs, play trivia, and other neat things that'll surely catch your eye. Be sure to explore the forum as a whole rather than just peeking at Emulation because you'll get the best experience that way. There are lots of people waiting for you to meet them from aaaaall over the world! You're more than welcome to leave a message on my profile for starters if you want to chat, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. But sometimes I can be a wee bit... forgetful, haha. Still always around to chat whenever. :D;

And be sure to check out X & Y as suggested, that's one of our most popular boards right now. We're all way hyped about the sixth gen, haha.

Anyways, see you around, Nic! If you're lost, just ask a moderator or post in the Questions & Feedback (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4) board. Keep in mind that this boars is for forum-related questions only.. so if you're confused about hacking, it would go in the Simple Questions thread in Emulation.

Haaave fun!
