This post is mostly for animation buffs to post and view unpublished animation that would otherwise be hard to find. This can include student animation (for colleges and art schools), or people who just really like to animate with flash. Preferably don't post things like Egoraptor or OneyNG, even though his animation is excellent it's very popular and often inappropriate. Also, no AMVs.

I'll start out with one from TastesLikeAnya. I think this is her first attempt at a full-blown animation.

Good topic. Why is no one participating?

The one CourageHound had in his profile for a while, Crayon Dragon by Toniko Pantoja, is still one of my favorites. I dunno how to, or if I can embed from Vimeo, but it tends to be a better site for this stuff and for quality, so...

Aniboom has (had?) some good stuff too, though it's been years since I've been there.

IIRC, I don't think I've ever had to do a student film, or if I did, I must've gotten by somehow because it never came up.

Finally, since I'm here, I still find it weird that talented people can use Flash, ToonBoom, Photoshop and After Effects to animate really nice 2D shorts when televised/professional animations tend to go a really cheap route instead with puppets and stuff. I mean, I was there, I get why it was done but I still refused to do it. :( Never learned how, for one, and I just snuck in full animation otherwise. ;P It's just unappealing, and yet I never thought people would get used to it. I think our standards for 2D animation have been lowered as a whole, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything good still being produced.
