Hey there Seattle, and welcome to PC! My name is Tampa Zach, and it's a pleasure in getting to know you! {:3}

Interesting username, to see it named after a major city! xD And if you don't mind me asking, but would you care to tell us a little more about yourself, particularly your motives in joining PC and any other interests you have? You really don't have to if you don't want to, but it'd be a great way for us members here to get to know you better! :3 And here at PC, we have lots to discuss including each generation of games, a general Pokémon game section (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13), a Pokémon anime section (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15), a Pokémon general section (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17), and even a section here for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14) as well! We also have forums for art/design, roleplaying, writing, and ROM hacking (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156). We also have off topic discussions (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25) away from Pokémon that may interest you, so be sure to check out all these areas on the forum and post wherever you feel most comfortable! (:

As a reminder, please be sure to look at the rules here, so that you don't wind up getting into any trouble at all.. the last thing we want to see here of a new member is them getting an infraction on their profile by breaking the rules, but I doubt you're one of those people ;)

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in asking anyone around here on staff (users with the bold usernames), and they would be more than glad in getting to help you out! :)

Hope you enjoy your stay here at PC, Seattle! Feel free to send me a friend request if you want to! And you are also always more than welcome in either leaving a VM on my profile and or sending me a PM if you ever want to chat with me! ^_^

...

I like keeping things short and simple but the questions you asked aren't that difficult to answer at all so I'll answer anyways.

I picked Seattle as my username because simply, it's where I was born. I was quite surprised this username wasn't taken.

I joined Pokecommunity because it's the biggest Pokemon forum around and I like Pokemon; I also seem to ran into Pokecommunity often when I was ROM hacking a while ago.

I'm interested in gaming and programming. Maybe I'll be making a Pokemon game for Nintendo in the future, just maybe.

Anyways thanks for the introduction to Pokecommunity.

Short and simple is good in most cases.. that's usually how my introductions are when I make them on other forums. :D; I'm not the best at talking about myself, lol. Welcome to PC!

It's.. pretty surprising that your name wasn't taken yeah, though I've seen other really awesome names be nabbed quite late into the site's existence. When I made this account I assumed all the good names were taken so I went with something else instead. Boy was I wrong. ;( But yeah, PC is usually the forum that comes up when Pokemon hacking is involved; we have a really extensive hacking library so it's always worth it to participate if you're into hacks. A chunk of our members joined thanks to hacking, myself included, thought that was many years ago. In the end only a small portion of the memberbase is into hacking so it's always worth it to get involved in the forum as a whole since there's just so much to do here.

You should look at the Video Games (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27) board for all things gaming related as I'm sure you're going to love it there. I mean, who can dislike video games?! On that note, what games are you into right now? I'm obsessed with Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem for the 3DS at the 'mo so it'd be super cool if you've heard or played those titles too. It would certainly be amazing if you made a game for Nintendo in the future though.. I'm sure something like that would be a dream for most people, including myself. But sadly I have virtually no talent in the programming department.

Anyways, it looks like you're settling in fine here already! That's wonderful. Feel free to ask us any forum-related questions you may have in the Questions & Feedback (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4) board and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Have a wooonderful time~!

Hello Seattle! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5PVf94CvmE) I am a mountaineer in the hills and highlands. Welcome to PC!

I'm sorry couldn't refrain myself from referring to an Owl City song. I'm a big fan of them and your name reminded me of that song so I thought I incorporate it in this post ahaha. I like your name it's unique. I remember when I first joined I misspelled the name I have now. Meaning I wanted "AWsquared" and put "AWsqaured" instead. We don't have name changes here so I immediately made a new account under this one I have today. Anyway, you will love our ROM hacking (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156) section. Like Cirno said , we have alot of hacks since we are known as a big hacking community so we always have new members joining and making working on new hacks. Some haves we have such as Flora Sky, are really well known among the Pokemon fan community ! And if you ever make a Pokemon game that and the Game Development section underneath will be good for you.

It looks like you've already been posting in the video game section so that's good. I'm glad you're settling in already. We're really friendly here so it's not hard to do that. I hope you can be a part of this community for years cause we could always use more regular members. This forum has a good variety for off topics things as you already found out. As Cirno said if you're ever lost on anything you can always ask as at Questions and Feedback and the moderators and other staff (in orange, red, and purple) here are also nice and willing to help out too as well.

Also you can talk with me if you like! Just send me a Visitor's Message (that little box on your profile.) when you want to talk or just to say hi! Have an amazing time and see you around!

Well, maybe it's a bit late to respond but I've decided to check this thread one last time before going to sleep anyways to respond to posts.

...

Thanks for the welcome, I probably should've put more effort into my first post here but it was a very busy day so I wanted to keep things short. As for ROM hacking, a while ago I kinda wanted to do make a 386 Emerald hack but it's not something that I'd probably find myself dedicated to in the long run. Plus with Suicune already having Expert Emerald I figured it's not worth having two similar hacks in the same site. I'm also struggling to find any new ideas for a ROM hack that'll be worth my time.

I've recently picked up on FE: Awakening again and I'm only at Chapter 6 in the main story which isn't really that far yet. I don't have Animal Crossing yet and I probably won't buy it because I already have huge backlog of games and I'm convincing myself not to buy another game this year, though that damned Playstation 4 will probably force me to open my wallet again.

...

Yeah, I'm aware of Hello Seattle, someone had to reference it soon or later. Other than that Pokecommunity seems like a good and friendly forum so far.

And as cliched as it sounds, thanks for the warm welcome.
