Cowrie's sprites, version 2

Man, it's been a while since I've tried working with sprites. @_@ Geez, I didn't think my inspiration for them would crash and burn this badly...

I'm making this new thread for them because my other one is too old to post in anymore. ^_^;;

First off...a fusion. And one that was probably a bit too easy, at that. A Joltsol (jolteon/absol cross):

Second...I've actually had this one done for a while, but never showed it (I think). It's a scratch sprite, using one of the nidoran female's official pics as a base:

And then this next one...I wanted to prove to myself that I could do more than just edit sprites or make them using any help. This one's a totally scratch sprite, no parts from any other sprite used, no base of any kind used, of one of my original pokemon, the Chickapo:

It's a grass/ground parrot (specifically, kakapo) pokemon of mine. Isn't it adorable? ^_^ Feel free to critique this one, since if I'm doing anything wrong then I'd like to know before I try making any more sprites. :P

And if anybody had a request for me before, and still wants me to do it...uh...feel free to poke me about it, then. ^_^;;

I like the jolteon absol mix it came out good, and the scratch nidoran looks like it could be an official sprite for a game good job >=D

Wow! I like your sprites allot. The only flaw is in the Joltsol's headpiece. It doesn’t mix in the head very well other than that there very good. I love your scratch sprites and I like the scratch Ampharos the most. There awesome, keep it up, I would love to see more! ;)

Hm, I didn't notice that about the headpiece...ah well, if I go back and mess with that sprite again, then I'll keep that in mind.

I'm trying to keep it up with making scratch sprites, since it's actually sorta fun. ^^

okay, a few things... make the Ampharos's head a little bit more tucked in, since it looks a little too big. and, make the tail go over the feet, it'll look more 3D sorta. ^^

Right...

Dunno how well I'll do with the head, though, as that was the trickiest part for me. XD The tail should be quite easier, though...

However, I'll get to it later, once I feel like opening photoshop again. ^^;

Ok this is really good ^_^, I( just suggest changing the outline to a more Yellowy one XD and giving the white bits a grey outline.

I sure can. XD I think I even already started on a male nidoran a while back...just gotta go back and finish him up sometime...

Rayquaza... @_x I can try, though I dunno how well I'll do. Rayquaza's one of those tricky ones for me.

Oh boy... *digs through list of threads* No, I haven't quite died yet. Well, maybe I did, but...whatever. XD I've just had my attention on other things (school, oekaki...yeah). And to prove that I'm not totally dead...here's...just a simple reshaded sprite:

Red/Blue version sandshrew - the cutest of the sandshrew sprites, in my opinion. XD I tried reworking its patterning so that it would look more like the more recent sandshrew sprites, but alas, it didn't work out, and I scrapped that...

(And I think I was working on that before I started working on any scratch sprites, so...no, I haven't forgotten about them yet. :P My inspiration/motivation is an extremely fickle thing, unfortunately, which is why it might take a bit longer for me to make those.)
