How's it going guys. I just started in the world of Pokemon ROM hacking and I have much to learn. I have to say I am impressed with a lot of those games out there that have left me wanting to play more of them. Currently I have a set of ideas and story that I want to share with all of you once I get accustomed to doing these hacks.

The hacks that I have really enjoyed and inspired me are(not limited): Pokemon Identity, Pokemon Crono, Pokemon Liquid Crystal, Pokemon Moemon(Yes I did enjoy this), Pokemon Snakewood, etc. I can replay these games for weeks and not get tired of them. Also I'm a huge fan of the first and third region. Story wise I would have to go with the second generation. I hope to work with some of you in the near future and support each other in our projects. Also to get great feedback from the community to improve myself.

Hey Negix! Welcome to PC!
I think the best place for you here in the forums is the Emulation & ROM Hacking (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156). I myself don't go there much though. so i think we wont be seeing around each other much. but yeah...feel free to go to other places to like the Metal & Color Generation Gaming (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36) and Advance Generation Gaming (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=164) since you like the first three generations. Also, check out the PokeCommunity Rules (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=6446812) and other rules in each section so you will be safe. :P

I hope you'll have a good time here...and good luck with ROM hacking!

Welcome aboard! You joined at the right place and at the right time! Kosuke kinda gave you the basics of what PC is all about, as well as introduced you to some great sections, such as the ROM Hacking section for example! You will find soooo much stuff around that section, even the tools you need. The regulars, and the moderators are really helpful, so don't hesitate to ask at all. :D There's a few threads over there that will help you a TON. So hopefully you take advantage of that.

Take your time and explore the forums all you want. There is no rush whatsoever. The rules are important for you to read, so be sure you understand them...and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Have fun, and I guess I shall see you around. <3

Welcome Negix!

As kosuke and Meganium said, Emulation & ROM hacking is the prefect section for you. It looks like you already have place a good amount of hacks too. I could always get into more hacks myself. I had Flora Sky but I've never had the time to play it. Maybe someday I will. Anyway, you will definitely find a lot to do in that section including tutorials and other resources need to make a hack. Of course you can find more to play too. :) As for generations go, I love myself some generation 3. The Hoenn region is so gorgeous and I love alot of the Pokemon there. Plus I lot the story and features of the Hoenn based games and Red and Blue got remakes to boot. Even more awesome. After that my next favorite would be Gen V. Alot of unique Pokemon in Unova and the stories of Black and White and Black 2 and White 2 is what makes me love them so much. But honestly, I love all of the generations of Pokemon and games Game Freak has released so far! I'm very excited for Pokemon X and Y! Are you planning to get those games by chance? You can always check out the X and Y section (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=256) if you have no idea what I'm talking about. :P You cna learn about them there or if you know what I'm talking about, you can also discuss the news and speculate them too.

Kosuke suggested some good boards so explore those and find place to post there. There's many other great forums to look around in too so do lots of exploring cause you can find interesting topics everywhere here. Trust us when we say we're a nice group of people cause we are! :P So I really hope you can make some friends here. And if you're ever lost or stuck on something you can contact a moderator or the other staff members in orange or red and since they're nice they'll definitely help you out! Have loads of fun here and enjoy yourself! Feel free to talk to me (http://www.pokecommunity.com/member.php?u=305198) anytime!
