OH MY I'M STARTING A THREAD!!! XD

Anyway the game comes out the 15th of March (a little less then a month away) in the US.
I have played all the Tekken games and I'm going to buy this when it comes out next month.
What really will tick me off is if ESRB makes the rating "Mature". ToysRUs.com has the rating to Mature (yet I checked at IGN, GameSpot and PlayStation.com and it was all RP "Rating Pending" so I'm just hoping that ("")ToysRUs.com isn't right <_<).
So who is going to get the 5th (6th if you count TTT) Tekken game that's going to come out?

I am!! XD Tekken is one of my favorite fighting games. a lot of people knock it, but it's cool. :p

it's also one of the few fighting games I can win... maybe that's why I like it so much... >>;;

a few arcades around me already have Tekken 5. it's pretty good :D

Well your thread is over a month old jaysharpe#1. So that's why it's not getting any posts.

Tekken is my favorite fighting games. And also the only fighting game I have found with real fighting moves (like karate and so on, my dad is a black belt in karate and kung-fu so he says they did real good on the moves on Tekken games).

Tekken 5 is going to be great, you can buy clothes and glasses and things to make your character more the way you want him or her to be.

I cant wait for this game all the past Tekken games have been great and the graphics look awesome.

It's a great game. I just bought today and it's really really great. The graphics are better then Tekken 4 and they had really good graphics.
What I like about the game is how you can get more outfits and change the colors of them and other things.
Another thing I like is that Tekken 5 has the arcade mode of Tekken, Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 (and some other game but it isn't Tekken).

Craig Marduk, Marshall Law, Hwoarang, King, Raven, Lei Wulong, Nina Williams, Steve Fox, Ling Xiaoyu, Kazuya Mishima, Asuka Kazama, Feng Wei, Chrisite Monteiro, Paul Phoenix, Jack-5, Jin Kazama, Lee Chaolan, Julia Chang, Yoshimitsu, and Bryan Fury.

And after that you have 11 hidden characters.

Well I loved Tekken 3 (it was the Tekken game I first played, I played 1 and 2 after that). But Tekken 5 is really far better then 3. Tekken 4 didn't have enough characters, and was kind of short. But Tekken 5 tops all the Tekken games I played (and I played all of them, Tekken 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 And Tekken Tag).
So I think renting it would be good DSS (unless you are a big Tekken fan where you would buy it XD).

Anyway, the Tekken Series is one of my favourite series of game ever, aswell as Final Fantasy, Suikoden, and Grand Theft Auto, so yeah, I'll definately be getting it when it comes out.

I was disappointed at Tekken 4 though as it's single player playability wasn't that great, and after I'd beaten the game it was just boring to play unless I had friends over.

If Tekken 5 is like that, then I won't get it, as I like games I can play on my own without getting bored.

It's weird how I don't like the Pokemon series but like battling them, in all honesty, it's no where NEAR the top of my favourite game series, but Tekken is.

I'm going to wait and see what you people say about Tekken before paying anything.

I also didn't like 4. It was beaten and gone too quick for me. But 5 is far better.
But why not rent it when it comes out? If you like it then just play around with it, get used to the characters and go buy it if you like it (I rented Final Fantasy X and X-2 before buying it).

I'm still waiting for it to be released where I live, which I know is a little while away yet. The graphics and game play looks superb. I've heard many people speak volumes about the game so I can’t wait.

I didn't like Tekken 4 that much. Panda didn't look right, and there wasn't much new on offer. Tekken 5 should be good with Jin and Hwoarang settling things.

Actually You can also get Devil Jin by playing arcade a bunch of times.

NiNGi: Yoshimitsu called Raven a wanabe (how ever it's spelled XD) Ninja in Yoshimitsu's story mode. Then you get to kick Raven's butt. XD

jaysharpe: Yea, everyone I listed I have on Tekken 5. But I got Devil Jin by playing Arcade Mode 200 times (200 battles in Arcade Mode).
And I did beat Devil Within last night.
And if True Ogre is hard for you then Rore (I think that's what it was called) will be something you will be taking some time on. Because Rore is the Final Ogre transformation.

Chimecho's Passion: I do think you can't get Jinpachi in Tekken 5 (I mean after you beat him he turns to sand). But if there is a chance to get him then I think beating Story Mode with every character will be it (I am like 2 or 3 characters away).

DSS: Well if you are waiting on a review from me then you will be waiting a long time. Because I suck with reviews on games and stuff. XD
I just say go out and rent it and check it out for yourself. XD

Attack a few times (try to knock him down with kicks and stuff) block and run from fire. Try to attack from behind (it takes a little longer for him to get around and attack you).

And try to keep your lives, because Rore is right after Ogre and your lives are not restarted when you go in the battle with him.

Well I can't really tell what he looks like (it's hard to paint a picture if I don't have anything that looks like XD). I'll just say it's about 4 or 5 times the size as Ogre, it looks really different then Ogre.

Ever since Tekken 2, I was a very powerful Jun player... but since they took her off Tekken 3, I was basically disappointed and the best place where I could use my skills as Jun was in Tekken Tag...

But now in Tekken 5, they basically resurected Jun as Asuka... and it's back to kick butting time... XD I just play at the arcade anyways... I don't have a PS2... v.v;;

Well for me it has to be Yoshimitsu I have always loved him in all the Tekken games.

Well my best on Tekken 3, Tekken Tag, Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 is Hwoarang. I made Tekken Lord in a few days with him, did a little over 3 mins on Time Attack and 25 Wins in a row in Survival.

Well, I don't have a PS2, but I played Tekken at the arcade. I pwn with Yoshimitsu! XD I played Tekken 5 when it hit my arcade, there was a line waiting. O.O; When I played, I pwned! XD

I'm a Deity with Ling Xiaoyu, Tekken Lord with Mokujin, and Legend with Raven and Roger Jr.

I think this is a first for Tekken that a boss was unplayable... :\

Tekken Lord with Hwoarang, Conquer with Xiaoyu, 1st Dan with Wang, 2nd Dan with Law, 1st Dan with Jin.
And my brother has been training his people and all of them are also high.

And I also think Tekken 5 is the first one where you can't be the boss (I have beat the game and there isn't anyway I can think of on how to get him). I mean he turns to sand, I don't think playing as sand would be fun. XD
