Is it better to get domain names through places like godaddy.com because you have DNS control? I was wondering about that...

Most defiantly. Without DNS control... it isn't your domain.

Godaddy has a very good reputation for domain names and customer service.

and like what greg said, if you don't have dns control, you wouldn't be in control of the domain.

Go Daddy sucks.. they are slow and have terrible customer support.

I reccomend our service (http://domains.innerchambers.com) or another enom based service provider (great support and very fast service, yet cheap)

I don't know whether or not I'm gonna buy a domain. Are hosts that give you DNS control just as good as HelloDomains or whatnot?
