**shrugs.** Some people actually like Ash. And he looks like he's having a good time. Maybe it's his first cosplay. I know some of my first cosplay costumes weren't all that great. I had to put them together from whatever I could find around the house and often they didn't look very authentic. XD; His costume is pretty good, though, save for the picture on the shirt.

Cosplay means "costume play". It basically means dressing up as your favourite anime character because u want to, but in this case, lost to a bet of some sort.
