Well if you want a Gardevior or lileep or whatever..just use the ones I posted. The shiny part I don't know about. try searching around on gamefaqs

April 23rd, 2004, 03:54 PM
Did you 'Add a New Game' like I said? Did you put in the new Master code like I said? Check if the codes are correct. If that's not the problem, try turning on the codes then go into a wild battle. If it isn't the pokey you want, turn the AR switch off then run into a battle, and turn it back on again. That works for me.

Simon
April 24th, 2004, 09:00 PM
If you have an egg that's been laying around for 3 months, you've been screwing around with that egg too much on ur AR. I doubt Nintendo would ever require an egg to take 3 months to hatch.

I'm having problems making codes with the Pokemon Calculator. I've set everything up for a shiny Salamence but each time I turn the code on, it doesn't work. Does it need a M code or something? Which code do I put in? There's 2 boxes and both have different stuff. One says Code Log above it and the other one says something like Copy code or paste code...

Blue_Revan
April 25th, 2004, 02:38 PM
The only game i ever had issues with game codes was Pokemon Gold. I lost my pokegear and everything got screwy.

I found some codes for ActionReplay for 'Catching Any Pokemon' that auctually works (I think most of them do) and isn't bugged like the ones you can get from downloading off the site using the USB cable for those of you, like me, who are having problems with those codes off of Codejunkies. I got it off of GameFaqs.com.

IMPORTANT: You have manually make a a new game (add a new game in your AR) and name if whatever you want and enter a different (M) code though but that shouldn't take long since those codes are short and you can copy and paste them onto your AR program.

Here are the 2 M codes:

Sapphire-A2E564FE 0FB58A54 B4564EFE 23F44BF2
Ruby-A2E564FE 0FB58A54 530823D9 16558191

And here are the codes fo the pokemon themselves. You can remove them by moving the switch ob your AR to the right then save your game and auctually turn the game off.

How come the Gameshark codes won't work? I'm trying to test the Gameshark codes, but they won't work. Only the ones that worked for me are the VBA codes. And I can't put the Gameshark save into my game either, it keeps saying 'Save game file deleted' or something like that. I'm using version 2 by the way.

And funny that, the only gameshark codes that will work for me aren't the ones from http://gameshark.com

Simon
April 28th, 2004, 02:15 PM
There are 2 kinds of Gamesharks for GBA. Gameshark GBA and Gameshark SP. Most of the codes on GS.com are for GS SP now (i think), so make sure you have the right one. Otherwise, search somewhere else.

Simon
May 1st, 2004, 12:13 PM
I found another one that works and is similar to the one on Boomspeed.com. It doesn't tell you that exact stats of a Pokemon after you put in the IVs, EVs, etc. though. Same goes for the level, you can't input an exact level, but instead you input EXP points. The Calc can also modify Trainer Cards, Money, Pokedex, etc as well. I think this one is better though, cause if you have Action replay, you can save the codes it gives you onto a ARGBX/GSSP Code File (Create File button near the bottom of Calc) and then import it directly into your AR/GSSP program and then download it onto your actual AR/GSSP.

Click Here-R/S Pokemon Calculator (http://www.geocities.com/[email protected]/)

]The site I put the Calculator on has a limit on how much data can be transfered during each time. So when the limit has been hit, you might have to wait an hour before you can download the Calc. if you want, I can email it to you. PM/Email me if you want me to email it to you. I'll probably reply sooner if you email me instead.

Do you have any codes of the 3 forms of Deoxys for action replay. :-(

Simon
May 2nd, 2004, 05:04 PM
As far as I know, there's only a code for 1 form of Deoxy, the one in R/S. I don't think the other 2 exist in R/S. The codes are on page 10 of this thread...I think. It's that long one I posted.

You should be able to play the game normally after you catch whatever it is that you caught. If not... your game is probably screwed up. Just make sure the code is off or you don't have the cheat device in anymore.

For all the people who use GSSP: I think that it's possible to use Codebreaker codes to get what you want. The "Catch Any Pokemon" code not only uses the Codebreaker master codes, but the format for the code is also in Codebreaker format. I downloaded the R/S Cheat Calculator (the newest version can be found here: http://home.pi.be/~simsons/rs_calc_en_12_setup.zip) and was trying codes generated for Codebreaker on the GSSP, but haven't had any luck. Maybe there's another master code that I have to use, maybe I'm not entering the codes in right, but I think it's definately something worth looking in to. Maybe other people who have GSSP can try it out and see if it works. If I figure anything out, I'll be sure to post it here.

*Edit* I got a code to work for GSSP using Codebreaker format. I used the code 82025BCC 00A8 to get a liechi berry in slot one of my PC. I generated this from the R/S Calculator, using Codebreaker format, and even double checked it on the Codebreaker website. The only problem is... I only got it to work once. I was excited that I got it to work, so I tried resetting and changing the code to a master ball... with no luck. Tried a couple more times with the master ball and a few more times with the liechi berry and haven't gotten it to work since. Now I may never get another liechi berry... :dead: Stupid mirage island...

You're suppose to catch what you need, turn the codes off, and save your game with the codes off. Then turn the game off/on again.

I was using some 'Have All Badges' codes and I think it messed up my game. When I press start to bring up the menu, I can't choose the optiion 'Pokemon' anymore so I can't look at my pokemon in my team. My team exists but I just can't look at it using the menu. I can still deposit them and stuff. Anyone know a away to fix this?

Edit: Nevermind. I fixed it. I entered one of the digits for the code incorrectly so I guess it still gave me the badges but messed around with my other stuff.

I have that problem too. Is this your first time using that set of codes or not? If it is your first time using the set, try loading the game with the codes on, then turn them off while in the game and check the TM/HM/Berries slots.

If this is your second time using the set, I don't think they'll work unless you start a new game. I used the codes once and saved with them off after getting the berries and tried using the set of codes again but it froze up.

You could try to look on GameFaqs.com to look for other codes for the berries.

There is no page ten

well at least i cant find it

Since you're new... :)

It only shows the links to the most recent 3 or 4 pages at the top/bottom. Just click on the link that leads to page 11 and it'll show page 10 at the top/bottom.

Or...if you're too lazy..

but I always thought that there's something wrong with Ruby/Sapphire version regarding the clock having a bug that it'll stop running in a way... I remember reading it somewhere but I'm not sure (so don't take this in as 100% accurate info)

if it's for rom, there must be a patch to fix that somewhere...

Depending on his options, there may not be a page 10 for this thread. Maybe he set each page to show 50 posts for example, then there will be lesser amount of pages for him too.

jokestr2004
May 9th, 2004, 02:36 PM
Well demonchaos, thanks anyway, but I guess it still didnt work. So I'll look around GameFAQs, and if that doesnt help, then I'll just trade my Pokemon to my brother's Sapphire version when I need to teach it a TM or HM... at least it didn't mess up my normal Items or Key items slot.

May 11th, 2004, 05:34 PM
The directions for getting shiny pokemon on pokemontk aren't that long. Only takes about 5 minutes to set it up. You'll just be running the risk that you'll lose everything if you mess it up.

If you want shiny pokemon, either do it the hard way or use the Pokemon Calculator to literally create a shiny pokemon in your PC, with no risks (assuming you have a GSSP or AR). Or just do what it says on PokeTK.

Though it was cool because it was stronger than my other Claydoll.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CODES FOR Action Replay for Missingno.

What'd you use? Calc or the thing from PokeTK? Just wondering.

I don't know it for AR. But I read somewhere on in this place that if you use the 'Walk through Walls' code, and go to the Pokemon Center second floor and do something with the colosseum, you can fight the Missingno.

is it possible to get ar of vba?

If you mean VisualBoyAdvanced emulator, then AR codes will work fine on it. VBA can support almost any kind of format of cheats. But the only ones I really use are codebreaker, AR, GSA, and GSSP.

There's like 5 links to different Calculators but most of them didn't work for some reason. I posted 2 links on page 12, only 1 works far as I know and it's the one I posted. Here's the link. It's imple to use, but if you don't know how to use it, there are some directions on the site and the downlaod comes with more instructions.

It says that when you have an empty value. Make sure you don't leave anything blank (besides items and moves). If one of the values is blank, it won't do anything. If you want a value to be 0, put in zero, don't leave it blank.

I decided i wanted a Mew (surprise, surprise) and so i entered the "Wild Pokemon Modifier" code from Game FAQs into my Gameshark version 1.2. The Master code worked fine, as it recognized the game. So i entered the wild modifier code for Mew, double-checked it, and turned on the game. I walked through the grass a bit, but when i got to what would be a battle, my game froze. I tried and tried again, but to no avail. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM READY TO BREAK MY GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:) I FOUND SHINY POKEMON CODES :)

kay,I hope these codes don't get split in half like my other codes.Okay follow these instruction carefully so your game doesn't make your file get corrupted OR MAYBE EVEN DELETED!

Step 1 :
Turn on the GBA and launch the game without codes.

Make sure you have the 1st slot of your 1st Pokemon's Box free (in the PC).
Make sure you have in the 2nd slot of the 1st Pokemon's Box a Pokemon you caught.NOT A TRADED POKEMON!Nor a hatched one.

Turn off the GBA.

Step 2 :
Turn on the GBA.
Enter these codes in your AR :

976D45AA 70DED391
7C2FA520 AB2B1F18
95B5736A 9A869755
D81AA0D4 AD38898D
3C82432D 373FA918
5241E50F 5AF197B8
07074F51 2D5383FE
4D44B5ED CBA1B894
63E57C61 62BECFC3

Start the game with these codes ON.
Load your game.
Save your game.
Turn off the GBA.

Step 3 :
Turn on the GBA.
Enter these codes in your AR :

06DDDF96 7C0A8B7E
B36286AE A534289E
4F939A11 40B3158B
F888BD99 2AB439D3
A5590580 6662BF8F
27F0C5E9 303157D9
2BD4B84A D8920C27
F47F7503 7B5DD639
6107155D E974D81C
060683E0 FDA7DFEE

Start the game with these codes ON.
Load your game.
Save your game.
Turn off the GBA.

Step 4 :
Turn on the GBA and start the game without codes.

Load your game.

Now look in your PC. You'll see a wierd egg in the 1st slot of the 1st box. It'll be named Shiny Hack.
Just don't move it.I prefer not to look at it's summary either.
Just check it's there. If it isn't, put whatever Pokemon you want in the 1st
slot, then move it again to free the 1st slot, then go back to Step 2.

Turn off the GBA.
Now you have created the Shiny Hack Egg. To find Shiny Pokemon, you have to
have it in the PC, in the 1st slot of your 1st box, then do steps 5-6.
You won't have to redo steps 1-4, unless you lose the Shiny Hack egg.
If you move this egg, the code following codes will crash the game, and
you'll have to go back to step 1.

Step 5 :
Turn on the GBA.
Enter these codes in your AR :

835D1A4F E96484A8
C4536904 F823DE96
10AB0A07 5E2BFCDB

Start the game with these codes ON.
Load your game.
(You'll see your Trainer Name is messed up so don't worry!
Save your game.
Turn off the GBA.

Step 6 :
Turn on the GBA.
Enter these codes in your AR :

DECA073C C4CDEFBC
044E75ED E19D9470

Now the next Pokemon that will be created will be always Shiny.
THIS ONLY WORKS FOR THE 1ST POKEMON THE GAME CREATES.
IF, AFTER THAT, YOU TRY TO ENCOUNTER A WILD POKEMON, CREATE AN EGG (BY
BREEDING), MAKE AN EGG HATCH, OR RECEIVE A POKEMON OR AN EGG FROM SOMEONE SOMETHING BAD COULD HAPPEN!

It actully means you can :
- Find a wild Pokemone once, then save your game.
- Receive a Pokemon from someone once, then save your game.
- Receive an egg from someone once, then save your game.
- Put 2 Pokemon in the Daycare (to make them breed) then save your game.
- Make an egg hatch, then save your game.

Once you've made one of these, you'll see that your Trainer Name's is back to
normal :
That means the next time the game tries to create a Pokemon, THE GAME WILL CRASH IF YOU
HAVE ANY OF THESE CODES ON!
So save your game, and turn off the GBA!

Step 7 :
Now, if you want to catch more Shiny Pokemon using this code, just redo steps 1-6.I think step 7 makes the Shiny Hack egg

If you have finished, DO THE FOLLOWING!

Turn on the GBA.
Enter these codes in your AR :

5E753B0E AD4D2313
3D368F37 CC9FE760
74ABD592 EA0FA052

Load your game.
Save your game.
Turn off the GBA.

ANNE to Vermillion. Ps. dont forget to talk to Elm and Oak!Also look around for SS anne codes on Ask Jeeves or GAmef@Qs.

Like frosty said, completely impossible. There is no Anne in the game, no Anne ticket, nothing. Only the SS Tidal..or Whirlpool..whatever it's called exists. If it were ever possible to get to Johto, major cheat sites like Gamefaqs would have info providing details on how to get their already. And besides, don't you think NoA would mention it in their guides?

MayBE THEY WENT OFF TO MAKE A SUPER CHEATING DEVICE THAT HAS EMP WAVES THAT SHUT OFF ALL OTHER CHEATING DEVICES THAT AREN'T MADE BY THAT COMPANY SO THAT THEY'LL BECOME DOMININTE IN THE CHEATING WORLD!!!!

Quick question about the calculator. Can you upload them into Colosseum?

Simon
May 19th, 2004, 06:58 PM
You can upload any Pokemon as long as it's not Deoxys or Mew and if the total amount of Evs that have been given to the poke is 512 or under. PokeCol can recognize that R/S cannot get Mew or Deoxys so it just stops them from being uploaded. This is just what I've been reading in the PokeCol forum, so you can check over there to make sure.

Jirachi3
May 20th, 2004, 03:29 AM
cant you hack the game so you can get mew or deoxys?

Simon
May 20th, 2004, 02:43 PM
No, if you ever connect your R/S with Mew/DX to PC, it won't let you transfer the 2 pokemon to PC. NoA made it so that PC recognizes this. Only way you can get Mew or Deoxys into PC is if you have FRLG or if there are codes that let you get any pokemon yuo want for PC.

hey people, I hacked a code go me LOL

no calculator just math in my head.

these codes are for Gameshark Advance SP

here's the Mast codes required for the following

(Ruby Version)

0000 2101 000A
1000 0428 0007

(Sapphire Version)

0000 B138 000A
1000 0428 0007

Quick Hatching Eggs

3202 87EA 00FE

Quick Breeding

3202 87E8 00FF (male eggs only)
3202 87E9 00FF (Female eggs only)

no walking is required for the eggs to be made
just talk to the old guy and he'll give you an egg.
this code will produce an egg even if there's no pokemon
in the daycare center so be very careful when you turn it on
because if you make an egg with no pokemon to breed from
your game will freeze

and for some reason I keep getting male pokemon for pokemon
that can be both male and female
maybe someone who know's more about hacking can
find out why and fix it please.
but this basically gives you unlimited eggs.

Change the end to "hta". It's a download file and it's a Pokemon Calc similar to the one that stopped working on boomspeed but this time you can save the codes directly to a codefile that you can import on to a cheating program the onto a cheating device.

www.gamefaqs.com (http://www.gamefaqs.com), and look under the pokemon ruby section.

Near the bottom for the page of "faq and guides," there should be 2 files regarding codes. Check inside the one that's only 200K big, and you'll find action replay codes there

Those 2 guides have those codes. It's in the PokeMoveTutor section for one of them (or both??). It lets any Pokemon learn any attack. Just read the directions for doing it. And don't say they don't have it. I used to use them all the time before I discovered the Calculator.

Scyer, check page umm...10 or 11 of this thread. I posted a long list of codes. Both need a different Master code and it should be at the top of the post I posted. It's for action replay btw.

Scyer, check page umm...10 or 11 of this thread. I posted a long list of codes. Both need a different Master code and it should be at the top of the post I posted. It's for action replay btw.

Sorry to bring this up again but i still cannot find it and beleive me i have looked!!

No, you can't change the starters unless you use roms faras I know.

Here is that list of codes for the moves. Can't find it...pfft...how could you not find it. It tells where in the Table of Contents. And read the directions.

1. Get heart scales
2. Go to fallarbor town and go into top the left-most house where you should
see a
fat guy.
3. Enter code for desired move
4. Make sure you have the poke you want to teach the move to with you
5. Talk to fat guy and give him a heart scale
6. Select the poke you want to teach the move to
7. Choose the very first move. It'll say a different move instead of what you want but ignore that. Just choose it and when you teach it it'll be the move you want.

GG found this code for me, I know its the right code because my game freezes up when I go into the grass and find a wild pokemon, with the code enabled. Whats the problem?

I don't know what GG is, but I recommened the code list on page 10. I'll just repost the entire list of codes here again then. Just press CRTL+F and type in the name of the pokemon you want and enter it in. READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!!

Note: If a code doesn't work, turn the switch on the corner of your AR off and get into a random battle. Then turn the switch back on and see if it works. That's what the writer of these codes said to do.

Hey, does ne1 have codes for Gameshark Advance Version 1.2? Game FAQs said their codes would work for Gameshark and Action Replay, but i doubt that. The codes i enter never work. However, the Pokemon Calc worked fine. Except for when i import the codes using the Gameshark PC disc, it calls my game "Pokemon Sapphire" and puts in da Pokemon Sapphire master code (i have ruby). Since i imported the Ruby (M) code from Game FAQs, i have 2 Master codes! IS there a way i can upload the codes from the Calc as Ruby version? Y are'nt my codes working? Does ne1 else have Gameshark v. 1.2 and found working codes??? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Simon

Well it should only put the codes into the Sapphire games if you chose Sapphire as the game. On the Pokemon Calculator there should be a slot where you choose which game it's for. US/UK Ruby or US/UK Sapphire

If you want to know what's wrong with DPing, ask the mods in the Question and Feedback thread or PM a mod.

Demonchaos what is your fav pokemon? I've been trying to collect all the members fav pokemon just by looking at their avatar but you keep changing yours!

My favortite Pokemon is Mewtwo actually. I just picked Absol as the adopted part cause I thought it would show what they looked like in battle and not the sprite. You would never figure that out by looking at my avatar. I've never had a Pokemon avatar since after my first week here (I used to have a Charmeleon as ava)

And actually, there is a code fro stealing other trainer's pokemon.

Enter these codes :

B6C5368A 08BE8FF4
6FD608D0 B9151D51
084197CA 3EA6DE4F
8E883EFF 92E9660D

Fight any trainer, press L+R, and toss a ball. Not sure if the same rules applies to them as if you were catching a wild pokemon.

yes it is impossible to go to johto in ruby if that's ur question or ur just stating it

I have no idea.......
I was just wondering though.......
Can't some codes screw up your game if you make a mistake when typing them?
I just wanted to know cause' my brother's game got screwed up when he after he was typing in a code......

Jirachi3
May 26th, 2004, 08:12 PM
ur game can get screwed up if your using gs,cb,vb,ect. But if ur using the AR v.3.3 then No,it cant.

Simon
May 27th, 2004, 09:06 PM
Yes, any code can screw up your game if you incorrectly type it in. Usually it can be fixed by saving with no codes on, correctly the code then activating it again.

ARv.3 is no exception. I tried using the *Have all Badges Code* to speed up my new game and incorrectly entered in 1 digit in wrong and all my Pokemon/Pokedex(even the option itself)/PokeNav(same as Dex) disappeared.

Hey, i hav da Pokemon calc, the 1 most of u hav (by XYZMAN). Ne way, i did da code for 99 Rare Candies in my 5th item slot, but when i entered da code into my Gameshark v.1.2, it apperred as ????????? x99. When i tried 2 use it, it said: Dad's advice: Chris, there's a time and place for everything! I already had a rare candy, would dat make a difference? Pleaz help!!!

Jirachi3
May 29th, 2004, 12:07 PM
In pokemon r/b/y and g/s/c if you breed to snorlax together you get another snorlax. Also Mew you have to have the 5th slot open to put another item there ,or if you already have a rare candy there you should put 98 more instead of 99.

Mew9
May 29th, 2004, 07:07 PM
Thanz Jirachi. I only had one item in my PC, so it ad 2 go into the 2nd slot instead of da fifth. When i put 4 mor items in the PC, like u said, it turned into 99 Rare Candies. Thanz a million.

ur welcome mew and can someone tell me whaere to get a pokemon sapphire rom?I've looked all over the site and none can tell me

Simon
May 30th, 2004, 07:31 AM
That's because linking to roms is agaisnt the rules. You'll never find a rom here.

E. Master
May 30th, 2004, 10:15 AM
Some times users make a "mistake" and link to one on their sig. :(

Frostweaver
May 30th, 2004, 12:52 PM
If the link is linking to their own website and it has roms for download there, then it isn't against the rules and if Nintendo gets a little pissed at them, well... not the community's fault. You can indeed link to your own site that has roms for download, but you cannot advertise your site saying "roms download here!"

Ok now we got the rule cleared up... hope everyone understands it. Let's get back to the cheating business!

Jirachi3

Simon
May 30th, 2004, 08:36 PM
Also I've been wondering if there's a code for all badges for AR and if there is what is it?
Here's the code:

A12FCE77 0C1EC556

Use this at the risk of the game's storyline. If you use it too early, it messes around with the Team Aqua/Magma events. You're game will be perfectly fine to play and stuff, but stuff like delivering the Devon Goods to the Captain in Slateport could be messed up and Team A/M could just stay in front of the Museum in Slateport+blocking the northern exit of Slateport or be spread out around Lilycove. Also, the Team M/A Hiding Cave will also never open up if you use it before it gets opened, therefore access to the Masterball will be gone (but yuor cheating so no problem right?) Those are the only 2 things that'll get messed up.

You can still catch Kyogre/Groundon, get Castform from the Weather Insitute, etc. Simply defeat Team Aqua/Magma at all locations besides Slateport/Lilycove and they will disappear.

Slateport and Lilycove will the only locations messed up. All other places with A/M will be normal.

Hey people! I'm new, and I've got AR. I also have the calculator (from a friend) and I've got porygon2, ursaring, houndour and dratini. I was wondering, is there a code for AR pokmon RUBY version for unlocking the national dex with all pokmon as catched, and a code for a fast hatch egg? (E.G. I need an impish skarmory, and I need to hatch it fast. Any codes please? Thank you.)

Turn NationalDex On:

Remove NationalDex:

2E555C7B 81CEDCB1
7E1B2819 69F8DDE8

Note: Open up your PokeDex, check if the background is grayish/silvery. If it is the code is working. While still in the PokeDex, press select to bring up a second menu, go to the 'Shift' section and go down to 'Mode' while in that section and choose 'National'. Then go down to 'OK' and press A. PRESS OK!!! Otherwise, it'll just revert back to the normal Pokedex.

Completed PokeDex:
Note: Press 'R' to make the code work, check if it's completed, then save game with the code off.

Fast Egg Hatching

9E17B966 367DE205

That code makes each step equal to 255 steps. So an egg still might need about 5 or so steps if it needs more than a thousand or so.

These codes should work for both versions with the normal master code.

Do they have the codes in the AR for those pokemon? If so, then select one of them, load the game and check the wild or the PC. If not, I suggest downloading the AR PC software and looking on www.codejunkies.com (http://www.codejunkies.com) for those codes. They put the pokemon in Box 1, Slot 1 of the PC (I think)

Check page 17 of this thread. I posted a long one for capturing any pokemon. READ THE DIRECTIOND. Dont even say they don't work, they work perfectly fine.

VBA can accept almost any kind of codes from any version of cheat devices. You're probably entering in the codes incorrectly or not following cetain directions the guides give you as every guide I've used on GameFaqs has worked for me.

What do i do?

Simon
June 1st, 2004, 09:00 PM
Okay...I didn't understand that entirely, but I'll try to answer anyways.

If you still have the USB Cable and the AR program installed onto yuor PC, connect your AR to your PC using the USB cable.

Turn your GBA/SP on and open up the AR program. Read the code list (even though there probably aren't any codes to read) by clicking the AR GBX button. After it's done reading, click the PC Database Button. Select the codes you want to put back on the AR, and click the Restore button.

Again, I didn't really understand that question, so if that didn't answer it, rephrase your question a bit.

Jirachi has a point, whenever you edit any part of the AR it has to process it first. If you interupt it in the middle of it, errors happen. I don't know how to fix this but try restoring it by connecting it to your computer and opening up the AR program. Try to restore the codes, if that doesn't do it, click the Upgrade button and see it puts the current version onto yuor AR.

There is no such thing as a Wish Tag. It's just a rumor someone started to mess around with gulible people.

There's a link to a Pokemon Calculator in my signature/my site. The site is based towards the AR, but the Calculator also works for GameShark (not sure about GSSP though)

Thank you, Demonchaos, that is absolutely perfect! Say... you wouldn't also happen to know where to find a guide to what the DVs need to be in order to have a certain "Hidden Power" type/power, would'ja?
And one other thing (sorry), do Pokemon made with the Calculator code still evolve and learn moves as normal for their kind?

You may be able to fix your friend's AR by reloading the flash memory of the AR cartridge. You could do that by downloading one of the following files (appropriate to the country in which the AR was purchased):

United States:
www.datelversions.co.uk/upgrades/ActionReplayGBX_3_3_US.exe

United Kingdom
www.datelversions.co.uk/upgrades/ActionReplayGBX_3_3_EU_ENG.exe

France
www.datelversions.co.uk/upgrades/ActionReplayGBX_3_3_EU_FRA.exe

Germany
www.datelversions.co.uk/upgrades/ActionReplayGBX_3_3_EU_GER.exe

Italy
www.datelversions.co.uk/upgrades/ActionReplayGBX_3_3_EU_ITA.exe

In some cases, the AR can be permanently damaged beyond repair.

You can view the manual in the CodeJunkies forum (the AR's official forum). I hope this doesn't constitute "advertising" for another forum, as I don't believe that it would be legal for me to copy their manual and post it here. Datel has the copyright to it, after all.

The GameShark Advance and the Action Replay were created by the same company, Datel. Datel created the device for the US market under the GameShark name until it was purchased by Madcatz.

Madcatz makes a vastly inferior device that is capable of using the same codes as the CodeBreaker. This device was given the title of "GameShark SP."

Since you can upgrade a GameShark made by Datel to the latest format of the Action Replay, it really doesn't matter whether you get a GameShark or an Action Replay -- so long as you upgrade the device as needed.

I own an upgraded version of the GameShark so that it currently has AR software on the pak. I personally think that Datel has superior customer service and has an overall better device.

The AR looks like this:
http://image.lik-sang.com/images//large/datel-gba-actionreplay.jpg

The GameShark developed by Datel looks the same, apart from the logo on the top; the GameShark has a blue shark on it instead.

RUMOR!!! R-U-M-O-R!!! If you've ever noticed whenever anyone/thing in the game says the name of an item it says it in CAPITAL letters. If a wish tag ever did exist, no one would be asking for the code for it and it wouldn't be in the rumors section.

Uh, Demonchase, he said how 2 fix ACTION REPLAYS - I have a GAMESHARK. So how do ya fix a Gameshark?

You fix it the same way: upgrade your device. There's no point in using an outdated device, anyway. Codes will not be developed for it in future games. It just so happened that the AR v3 upgrade came out during code development for Ruby & Sapphire -- otherwise, you wouldn't find any GSA v1/2 codes for your game! As long as it's the device from Datel (GameShark Advance -- not GameShark SP), then you should upgrade it. In fact, some Pokmon codes (when used together) have been known to damage the GameShark Advance. Thus, you should upgrade your device.

[Wild Encounter Codes]

If you use theses codes, Nintendo might know that your Pokmon has been hacked.

If you use these codes, you can also use one Type code. That mean that you can
choose the Pokemon you encounter and its level with the following codes, and
then choose it's gender (or one of this genes) with a Type 6 code of this FAQ.
(You could also use this code with the "Always Shiny" codes).

! Use only ONE of these codes at the same time !
Use only the "New Wild Pokemon Modifier Codes", the "New Level Select Codes" or
the "New Genes Maxed Out Code".
You can also use any Type 6 code if you want.
A Type 6 code is a code with the star, "*", after its name.

To make these codes work, you need a enter them in a new game cheat database :

1 - On the AR screen, select "Management", then "Add/Edit Game",
then "Add New Game".

2 - Enter any name (like "Ruby Wild Pokemon Modifier").

3 - Now choose "Add/Edit Code", select the game you created, and choose
"Add New Code".

4 - Enter "(M)" in the code name, then input one of these Master Codes :

New Pokemon Ruby Master Code :

A2E564FE 0FB58A54
530823D9 16558191

New Pokemon Sapphire Master Code :

A2E564FE 0FB58A54
B4564EFE 23F44BF2

5 - Now enter the "New Wild Pokemon Modifier Codes" you desire.
(You can also enter the "New Level Modifier Codes", and any
Type 6 code).

6 - Once you're set, go back to the AR title screen (press B some times),
then choose "Select Game", and choose the game you created.

7 - Check that the (M) code is ON, and only one of the New Wild Pokemon
Modifier Codes is on, that only one of the New Level Modifier Codes is on,
and that only one Type 6 code is on, then Press start to start the game.

If the (M) code if OFF (it can happen. It's an Action Replay bug...) you'll
have to rename it to anything but "(M)" (or "(m)"). Then set it on manually,
then rename it back to "(M)".

You use the USB Cable..which you probably don't have since you borrowed it. Just ask your friend for it and say you found some good codes that you wanna use...lying isn't a sin...for me.

You do? Hm...I'm getting everyone mixed up. SOmeone else said they borrowed it...eh whatever.

Just connect the USB Cable to your GS and PC and open up the program that should've come with your GS and umm...I'm not sure how the GS program works but the AR program has a button that says 'Upgrade' in a corner and you just have to click it and if there is a newer version, it's downloaded into yuor GS/AR. So...um...yeah.

Yeah, it only does the most recent version that Datel has put up. And based on what Hades said, it should be fixed.

You have to download the latest version of the PC software, posted here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=255803#post248315) (choose the appropriate country). Then, you can click the upgrade button on the newer software to update the flash memory on the AR.

It won't work if you use the GSA software to upgrade it, since the old program points to gameshark.com, which Datel can't put their software on anymore.

Here are the steps to upgrade your GSA to an AR:
1. Install the latest AR software (3.3 to date) for your pak. If you bought the GSA in the US/Canada, use the US upgrade. If you bought it in Germany, then use the German upgrade, et cetera. Make sure to install the necessary INF file(s) to connect your GSA to the PC.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Put fresh batteries in your GBA.
4. Put your GSA into your GBA (with a game pak in it, as well). Use the USB cable to connect your GSA to your PC.
5. Start the AR PC program. Press the upgrade button if the program doesn't automatically ask you to upgrade your device.
6. Do not touch your GSA, do not disconnect the USB cable. Do not do anything until the program has said that your device is upgraded and your device says that it is no longer communicating with the PC. Do not run any other programs while doing the upgrade.

Make sure you have new batteries in your GSA when upgrading. If the batteries die during the upgrade your pak will turn to rubbish. You will lose any/all codes on the GSA, and they will be replaced with the default ones from the AR program. Note that the old codes will not work on your new AR device. Only Action Replay v3 codes wil work.
