Can anyone give me the Gameshark code for getting Seel in Pokemon Sapphire? I keep trying this one code for getting it on Route 101 and I'm having absolutely no luck at all. I used to have a link for all of this but now of course it's gone. I could really use some help right now. Can I get a page or something with the correct codes?

Can anyone give me the Gameshark code for getting Seel in Pokemon Sapphire? I keep trying this one code for getting it on Route 101 and I'm having absolutely no luck at all. I used to have a link for all of this but now of course it's gone. I could really use some help right now. Can I get a page or something with the correct codes?

(asking for Jeikobu)

You're not using an old GameShark Advance (not the GameShark SP), are you? If you are, you're likely having problems, because the device is out-of-date. If the Route 101 codes you have are correct, however, then you can't have any other codes on at the same time (beside the master code).

Ok, I have a question regarding my sister's Pokemon Ruby game. I have tried numerous Gameshark codes, and nothing has worked. But here's the weird part: my brother also has a Pokemon Ruby, and he tried using the exact same codes (Master Code and Catch Zenigame (Squirtle) on Route 101) and they worked fine for him. But my sister has been searching and searching on Route 101 and has had no luck (I know it often takes alot of time and patience with the Route 101 codes, but she should have found it by now). I checked to make sure the codes were entered right, and they were. I checked to see if the right ones were on/off, that was fine too. Everything was the same for both games, except my brothers works and my sister's doesn't. And nothing should be wrong with my sister's game. She has played it recently and it's been fine (she just recently beat Roxanne). Can someone help me help her?

Also, can I get a Sapphire Gameshark code for changing my Seel's nature to Calm?

Hi, does any one know how to get a picture out when you reply?

HellishHades

Jeikobu:

Route 101 codes are different between Ruby and Sapphire versions. Make sure that you are using the right code for the version you are using.

You cannot change the stats/nature of a Pokmon -- the data is encrypted. You could recreate the monster with xyzman's calculator, though.

I recommend that you upgrade your device to AR v3, though. The information and links are in my two posts on the previous page.

On the bottom of this page (http://www.pokemonfaqs.uni.cc/handheld_games/ruby_sapphire/) is loadingNOW's FAQ. In it, you will find GSA and AR codes.

Jeikobu

It's ok, I already captured another Seel with a better Nature.

As for my sister's problem, the games are the same. As I said, my brother used the exact same codes on his Ruby game and it worked, then we tried my sister's Ruby game and went well over 30 Pokemon and still no luck. We even used my brother Gameshark and GBA for it. The only difference was the game was my sister's, not my brother's. But they were both Ruby so the codes should work for both games, not just one.

I know it's hard, but try restarting the game.

Try updating your device to Action Replay v3. If you bought one game much later than the other, there may be slight differences between memory locations in the games, especially since the Route 101 codes are type-6.

Upgrade your device and try the one-line codes (follow the instructions) on the previous page. Alternatively, use the codes in loadingNOW's FAQ (GSA v1/2 -- they're the one-line codes, as well). Those codes always make the desired Pokmon appear, lest there are deeper issues with your device and/or game pak.

Edit{

Sorry, there are no GSA v1/2 one-line encounter mod codes. They're for PAR v3 only. I think you may just be having rotten luck on one game. Either that, or one game is slightly different than the other (revised by game programmers).

I just tried using the R/S Calculator to make some Pokemon, and it worked perfectly, except for one thing. The Pokemon I create all get boosted XP! I don't want them to, but I can't figure out how to find my Secret Trainer ID so I can enter it into the Calc to fix the problem. So my question is; how do I find my Secret Trainer ID? Or if I can't, is there a way to change it to a number I know with a GBA?

HellishHades
June 13th, 2004, 09:00 AM
Jixatz:

You can change your Secret ID so you know what it is (using a calculator), or you can use a code to find it. Note that if you change your Secret ID, then your previously-caught monsters will receive an experience bonus. You will not be able to change old monsters' nicknames, as well.

From loadingNOW's FAQ:

"...

Find out your Secret Trainer ID Codes (1).
Enter this Type 6 code, and look at your trainer card. It could be a bit
messy (it might even make the game crash! If it does, you can use the 2nd
set of codes), but it'll display your secret Trainer ID instead of your regular
Trainer ID. After that, write down this number, and turn the code off (switch
off your GBA). For now, knowing your secret Trainer ID has no useful purpose.
But maybe one day some people will make proggies that'll use your secret
Trainer ID and your normal Trainer ID, and use them to compute a pokemon with
all the caracteristics/stats/genes... you want (and that'll obey you), find
your Feebas tiles... And, who knows, maybe more!

D20EAE69 9DD6C961
EB50DE1D 23B8A928

Secret Trainer ID revealed (2).
If the 1st code makes your game crash, here are 2 other Type 6 codes that will
work perfectly (but require some calculation).

1st code:
CC8629C0 25DFAFD3
02FECFE9 4D39B39F

2nd code:
CC8629C0 25DFAFD3
FDF29BEB 6CBF0D9D

Enter the 1st code, and look at your trainer card. Write down the Trainer ID
numbers that are displayed.

Do the same thing with the 2nd code. Now, open windows calculator (or any tool
that can make decimal-hexadecimal conversion). Enter the 1st number as
decimal, and convert it to hexadecimal.

You should have 4 numbers (A-F are numbers in hexadecimal). Write down the 2
1st numbers (if you have A152, take A1). Do the same thing with the numbers
you will get with the 2nd code.

Now take the 2 sets of 2 numbers you just wrote down, and enter them in windows
calculator as hexadecimal numbers in the order you wrote them down (if you had
A1 and B5, enter A1B5), and convert this number to decimal : you have your
secret Trainer ID.

E. Master:

The title of this topic is "Codes and Cheating Devices for Pokemon RS." Anything related to the operation and/or maintenance of a cheat device should be able to be posted here (at least, I think so), as the title suggests.

You may ask for codes here, troubleshoot problems with codes, etc.

...

This is solely for helping our members use their codes and give them access to some.

In order for some people to have access to codes, they must upgrade their device. Otherwise, the codes don't work. All the post that I have seen were related to the operation cheating devices or possible codes (or even information needed to create some codes, such as the IV list). Thus, I do not think that this thread is "off topic."

Did you restart the game, Jeikobu. It should work, but only do it if upgrading the gameshark don't work.

Does any one have the gameshark sp code to enable the eon ticket?

If you have a proper GameShark Advance (not the GameShark SP), then it came with a USB cable.

Is there a code to make your pokemon obay you? My stupid little Ralts won't obay me and I'm on the verge of releasing it (its level 76)

Simon

I don't think there is. Although you could try to use a code to get all badges. Or just use the Calculator to make an entirely new Ralts instead.

Here's instructions for ne1 who wants 2 upgrade their GSA 2 Action Replay v.3.3. First, click on the sites Hellhadish listed for reloading Action Replay flash cartridges.
Next, dowload wat it says.
Next, if u download it, u will have the Action Replay computer software on ur computer. Click on it.
Next, connect ur GBA w/ the Gameshark and a game (ne1, it doesn't matter).
NOTE:Make sure da power light on ur GBA is GREEN!!!!! If it is red or flashing between green and red CHANGE DA BATTERIES!!!!
Next, w/ ur GBA and GSA connected 2 ur PC, click GBA Action Replay (or w/e it says) (on the Action Replay software screen), and it'll say dat ur device is outdated or sometin. Just click OK. It'll then ask u if u want to upgrade it. Click upgrade, and once u see da little screen with the computer transferring boxes 2 da GBA, (and it says 1/64KB or sometin) LEAVE THE COMPUTER!!!!! don't take a chance by running other programs or it could permantly mess up ur PAR (Pro-Action Replay) and u'll have 2 buy one. Once it is done, and that screen thingy disappears, congrads! U have an Action Replay!!!!!!!!

SIDENOTE: U can't just click the upgrade button on the GSA hardware. It will only update u to GSA v. 2 (or something, i never tried) (no, not a GSA SP). It WON"T give u an Action Replay, since different software is required. I listed the easiest way and follow my directions, as they have been tested and the work.

If you have a proper GameShark Advance (not the GameShark SP), then it came with a USB cable.
So I just need to put the link cable into the PC and also connect it to the GameShark, then put in that little CD, and choose the "Upgrade" thing? I can't do that right now as my PC is having trouble, but maybe eventually. Aren't there any codes that'll work for that game without me having to upgrade the GS? I mean there are alot of codes in places like this (http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/pokemon_rs_na_gs.txt), maybe one of those work?

There are GSA/PAR v1/2 codes for Ruby and Sapphire, because codes were being developed for it during the v1/2 phase-out. GSA codes will likely not be developed for FireRed and LeafGreen. If you plan on playing those games, I suggest you upgrade your device.

Yes, you could use it on all GBA games (in other words, just plug it in), but that doesn't mean there will be codes for all the games for the GameShark SP. I much prefer the Action Replay, which you can find at http://codejunkies.com. In my experinces, I have found the Madcatz (the current owner of the GameShark trademark) staff to be less than helpful. Madcatz isn't even the same company that developed previous GameShark devices.

Those walk through walls codes STILL don't work. *sigh* i give up.

Only use the master code and the proper walk-through-walls code for your version. These codes are AR v3 only. GSA v1/2 codes are also 16 characters long for each address and value pair, but PAR v3 codes will not work on PAR/GSA v1/2 devices (and vice versa).

Sometimes codes just don't work, and there's nothing you can do to get them to work. What I'm trying to get at, is maybe it's a good idea to just give up. Nothing thing ever goes right in anybody's life, and you can't argue with that, bacause true. Maybe sometimes you'll find a dollar on the street, but you'll allways just by a sucker with it, and it'll be gone just like that, it's like you never had it. so maybe you should give up, maybe you should just throw your gameboy away, it's not worth the hastle of trying to get it to work. When you got your pokemon game, were you happy? Then you beat the game, now are you happy? Happiness only last a day or two. If you go a have the best day of your life, then you get to spend a life time of unhappiness, whishing you were back at that day. So just give up, and stop being happy, you'll find that you will be happier that way. :tired:

Maybe you're right, but but what's the point, cheating only cut the joy in half, because you're still going to beat the game, and get bored of it, that's what I did. Why not just play it right, and get as much fun as you can, out of it? You shouldn't have spent your $36.00, and you should've gave it to charity, they need it for food, and they'll be alot happier with food, then you will with your game.

You didn't type it right. Use this for your code:

Master Code for Ruby:
0000B138000A ----2nd
1003A82A0007 ----Enter 1st

Master Code for Sapphire:
000056D0000A ----2nd

NATIONAL DEX CODES: (There ARE different Master Codes for this!)

[M] Master Code (Ruby)
00002101000A ----2nd
100004280007 ----Enter 1st

[M] Master Code (Sapphire)

Skds: Trax asked about codes regarding 'Catching Any Wild Pokemon' and you (Skds) gave him codes for a National Dex.

Trax: I don't know why the codes don't work but make sure you enterd them correctly or the switch is on the right side (I don't own a GSSP so I'm not sure if GSSP have those siwtches). I suggest you check Gameshark.com for a list of codes for Catching Any Pokemon. I don't like using codes that the makers of a cheating device give you as most of the time they don't really seem to work. If GS.com doesn't do you any good, either search around the first 23 pages of this thread for a list of GSSP codes (and don't confuse AR codes with GSSP...there are a lot of those AR codes around here with the GSSP) or go onto GameFaqs.com and check the bottom of the FAQs section for Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire (both have same guides) and there will be 2 guides for codes near the botton of the page.

Thanks a lot for the help, i just have one question though. I tried to put in a long code before and the gssp said that it was too many codes. Any idea what that could mean? are the codes too long to fit?

Simon

Just split it up into 2 different codes. Like have 1 code hold the first 10 lines and the second code the next 10 nlines.

Football: PPN has a short list of codes for GSSP. I don't know of any others.
Ruby Codes: http://pokemonpalace.net/?id=rs_gameshark2_us_ruby
Sapphire Codes: http://pokemonpalace.net/?id=rs_gameshark2_us_sapp

Alien: The master code is the one that was preloaded into your GSSP Pokemon codes. If you deleted it, check on gameshark.com for the code.

The codes that I used were posted on page 5 by darkcharizard guy and they work except he don't have the old pokemon so those are the ones that I need and pynpfan if you have a gameshark sp then there should be a masterball modifier for your pack and you should be able to catch pokemon eaiser

No problem ft63. I have a question to anyone who knows. I was looking at the calculator and one of the options is "pokerus". I didn't know what it was so i asked my brother and looked on line and found no answers. Can someone tell me what it is?

From what I know, it is a virus, that really helps your pokemon, I suggest to use it.

Simon
June 21st, 2004, 09:58 PM
Pokerus is a Pokemon virus that helps it (some virus eh?). It doubles the amount of EVs you earn from battling. Like if you were to kill a Shuppet for 1 point of EV, you would get 2 points instead. Every 4 points of EVs add another point to the stat it corresponds to. EG: Your stat is 156 Attack, you earn 4 EVs for Attack, adding another point to the Attack stat, making it 157. There is a max of 255 EVs for each stat, and a maximum of 510 EVs totaled on a single Pokemon.

Grr, my gameshark is messed up. Everytime I download codes into it, the are deleted somehow. I download the codes, shut off the gameboy, unplug the cord, turn on the gameboy with the shark (the codes are still there) select some codes, wait until it goes to sapphire, the codes don't work, I shut it off, I turn it back on and the number of codes is then 0 when I turn it back on. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? Will I have to buy a new Gameshark? Please help me O_o I think the version is 1.2, that is what the readme says...

Mew9
June 22nd, 2004, 09:50 AM
I had exactly the same problem with the same version. U can only fix it by upgrading it. I wrote a guide on like page 20 or something about how 2 upgrade a screwed up version 1.2 that worked perfectly 4 me. Try that.

No, try unpluging the cord, before you turn it off, and then let it restart itself, that way when it rastarts it self, it also saves what you have.

Pokedragonfire
June 22nd, 2004, 10:48 AM

skds1433
June 22nd, 2004, 10:57 AM
Well then try to unplug it, and if it don't restart itself, then start the game, with codes, and if that don't work, try it without codes.

Pokedragonfire
June 22nd, 2004, 11:18 AM
It freezes when I unplug it, but when I restart it manually, the codes are still there but when I restart it after I play the game all the codes are gone like before. I tried updating it but it didn't seem to help either. Is it normal to take awhile while loading the codes like 8 or 9 seconds instead of 2? I think it is deleting the codes instead of loading them...

just upgrade it. u'll soon find dat even though u type in correct codes, they won't work or will sometimes even crash or destroy ur game. i can't even play Breath of Fire 2 now, cause i typed in a code CORRECTLY and it destroyed my game. The start menu won't even come up. U should just follow my guide 2 upgrade it 4 the sake of ur game.

upgrading turns it into an Action Replay v.3.3, which is a different flash cart. Since when u upgrade it u also override the old flash cart, it will override the problem on the old flash cart.

I shall pretend that I did not see that post...
It's time for everyone for once to check our annoucement section regarding ANYONE who violates the 25 character rule. 25 Character rule bypass is no longer allowed (except for possibiliy Trivia) and people who constantly makes this mistake is supposedly punished somehow... So yeah get those dictionary and thesauruses ready, and use longer words to take up more character space. Or best of all, throw down some adjectives which makes you look so much more intelligent at times (and adjectives increase the length of your post as well ^^)

Back on topic:

Instead of "refer to this page," somebody send me a complete and near-perfect copy of how to upgrade your code via PM, and I'll add it in that ancient FAQ of ours. (note: formal format please... so don't use 1337 or anything like that... just pretend that you're writing to your english teacher)

all right, you start the gs, and the codes are there, right. Click on new game, and type anything, like a, or bds, anything. Then start the game, and it should atomaticly saves the gameshark codes.

Since you have GS 1/2, you won't be able to update it with the Gameshark Program. Instead, you have to download the Action replay program and update it through that program instead, to make your GS into an AR.

No same codes, but gamesharks are alot better, belive it or not, gamesharks mess up less, and I had a new Idea, try deleting every single game on the gs. and starting fresh.

I can make 1 in like 2 seconds, but 1st u need to answer a couple questions. Do u hav Ruby or Sapp? Wat cheating device do u hav? Wat is ur trainer name? Wat PC box and slot do u want it in? Do u want any moves in normally can't learn? Do u want it 2 hav the Pokerus? And wat do u want its hidden power 2 be?

Sapp

About 300 codes!
But I got the Shiny Lugia!!!!!!!!!

How long codes are doesn't matter anymore. Both of the calculators I posted have the option to save the codes into a cheat file which you can upload into your GSS/AR/Gs/Etc in a matter of seconds.

I'm kinda new here and I have read some posts in this thread (17 pages/27), but nothing helps. I've been doing many codes from the pokemon calculator, but when I try to use them on my GameShark SP, they don't work. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!

[EDIT]
I'm going to someone's birthday party today, so I may not respond until tomorrow. I'll check back ASAP! Thanks again for whomever can help me.

As far as know, there are only 2 reasons why they are not working.

Either
1. You chose the wrong format for the code
2. You do not have a master code

Solution
1. SImple, choose the right format. If you are using PokemonCalculatorV3x, choose CBA/GSv3+ for GSSP.
2. The master code for the codes are the same ones that were preloaded into your cheating device. Just enter them again if you deleted them or something.

DragonairLover
June 26th, 2004, 03:01 PM
Well, I did chose Codebreakers (I read previous posts), and the master codes are still there. I've even checked them to make sure they are right.

[EDIT]
I really have to go know. The party's starting soon, so I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks!

I have an AR deivce, and in the case of an AR, only one game code file can be activated at a time. So if I were to turn codes from 2 different codes on, only one code file would have working codes. That might sound confusing...

I have two code files, Pokemon Dapphire Sect1 and Pokemon Sapphire Sect2. I turn codes on from both. Only the first one I had codes turned on would work, so only codes from Pokemon Sapphire Sect1.

I'm not sure if this applies to GSSP so I really have no idea.

Apparantly, my parents will make me late for the party. Anyways, I sorta get what you are saying, but in a way I don't. When I first did a code, I did the code I'm trying to do now (get a shiny Ralts), and getting 99 masterballs. It says that the code wouldn't work if I do two at a time. Now, I do the mastercode and the code for the Ralts. But it still doesn't work.

[EDIT]
Okay, this time I'm really leaving. My parents are already starting the car. Bubye, talk to you tomorrow! :classic:

Are you sure you ahve a GSSP and not just a GS? Cause to me it seems like you're saying NONE of the codes work at all.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 10:09 AM
I'm positive I have GSSP, I've checked the box, and the codes are 12 digits long, no more, no less. The only codes that work are the codes that come with the GSSP.

[EDIT]
Ok, I'll give you a full rundown of what I'm doing.

That Calculator you are using doesn't support GSSP.

http://www.boomspeed.com/kpdavatar/PokemonMakerV3x.hta

That one does. Choose CB/GSv.3+ for GSSP.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 10:36 AM
When I turn on my GBA SP, it automatically goes to Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. The codes I put in from the cheat calculator don't work, but the codes that come with the GSSP work. Where do you find the Samples to Codes button?

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 10:38 AM
I editted my post. Read it up above. The Calculator you were using doesn't support GSSP. I posted the one that does up above.

I did it and I saved the codes onto my computer. Then I opened up the GameShark SP codebank on my computer, but when I tried dragging the saved codes into it, it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? (I probably am...I don't know much about GSSP)

[EDIT]
Actually, when I do that, it freezes up my GBA SP

Hey, my new AR works great! :P Thanks for the help :)

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 10:56 AM
You don't drag it. There should be a button that says 'Import' or 'Load' or something that suggests opening a file you have saved somewhere. Click the button and choose the file you saved.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 11:04 AM
That's odd. I'm not finding any button like that.

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 11:15 AM
Erm...double click the code file? I don't have a GSSP so I don't know how their program works.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 11:16 AM
When I double click the code file it says that the code cannot be opened due to the certain type of file.

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 11:22 AM
Then I don't know what's wrong. It could just be that the Calculator doesn't work for GSSP evne tough it says it does.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 12:47 PM
Ok, I just finished adding all the codes manually. But when I tried the codes, they didn't work. Box 14, slot 1 didn't have any pokemon there. Or is the code a modifying code? Do I need to put a pokemon in slot one of box 14?

HellishHades
June 27th, 2004, 01:01 PM
kpdavatar likely did not include a function for GameShark SP code saves. I believe it's only for AR/GSA v1/2 and v3 devices. The codes should work, but you have to enter them manually.

Make sure you are using the appropriate master codes.

Thank you so much! But it still doesn't work...how odd. Maybe it's because no matter what I do, the master code that comes with the game always stays on. Should I delete the old one?

Daniel
June 27th, 2004, 01:14 PM
Try this site (http://pokeguide.gambelz.de/pokemon_rs_gs.txt). It has alot of codes to RS!

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 01:14 PM
Sure, go ahead. I find that any preloaded codes are unreliable. Which is why I deleted everything and spent 30 minutes entering in new codes that work and are much short, taking up less space.

OMG! When I went to my comp (in Ruby) where the Ralts was supposed to be, there was an egg called a "Bad Egg". Is this supposed to happen?

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 01:24 PM
DO NOT SAVE THE GAME WITH THE BAD EGG. It's like a virus. Each Pokemon Egg has values in them that makes them a Pokemon and a Bad Egg is an egg missing those values. If it hatches, either nothing will happen, or your game will crash, badly.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 01:26 PM
Uh oh....my GBA SP was running out of batteries so I saved it and turned it off to charge. Can I just leave it in my PC, or is that bad too? How do I get my Ralts if all I get is a bad egg? I didn't even want it to come in an egg!

[EDIT]
I just tried another code for Ralts from a different place, and it also comes out with a bad egg. This time I didn't save, but what is going on?

[EDIT] (again...)
Do you think it's because I don't know my secret ID#? It asks for it in the pokemon calculator, but I put 0 because I didn't know my secret ID.

Simon
June 27th, 2004, 01:42 PM
You don't need to enter anything for the secret ID. You could put in 12345 if you wanted.

Whenever you 'create' a Pokemon in a Box/Slot, it'll replace any Pokemon already in that spot. So if you moved the egg (make sure all codes are off so it doesn't clone itself) to Box 14, Slot 1 and made a code to make a Pokemon in the same place, the egg will disappear and be replaced by the new Pokemon.

DragonairLover
June 27th, 2004, 01:51 PM

Simon

Yep. The secret IDs are to deal with things like 2 people having the same Trainer ID. Just name your Ralts Gardeviour. Leaving the name slot blank will make it's name either 'NameMe' or 'NoName' when you get it in your box.

hey inuyasha demonchaos told me in another thread(the one i posted incorrectly :nervous: ) that there is one code for the eon ticket and another for make it work, this one is the code what i'm looking for

Simon
July 3rd, 2004, 11:43 PM
Inuyasha+Ice Storm: Some reason I suspect that both of you are the same person. Whatever. Ignore me if I'm wrong.

If you got the Eon Ticket WITHOUT cheating, then you should be able to go to the Southern Island by simply going to one of the 2 ports in the game (Lilycove and Slateport). There should be a new destination to choose from. I don't know what it says since I've never used the ticket before but it should probably say something like Southern Island or anything related.

If you obtained the ricket through cheats, then you need another set of codes to make the ticket actually work. I've said it before: I don't know the code for making the ticket work for the GSSP. However if you have a up-to-date version of the AR the code for making the Eon Ticket work is 70C6F3CC 16235BDF. I myself am not sure if the code works or not as I've never had a reason for going to the island.

And yeah...check the Ruby/Sapphire FAQ for some info on the Eon Ticket.

*pokes Frosty* Maybe you should add something saying that if cheats are used to obtain the ticket, another code is needed to make the ticket actually work. *pokes some more*

I must've posted that code 50 times at least by now.

Whatever. Read my entire post next time. I already posted the code for the Eon Ticket. If you did buy the ticket from someone, anyone, the ticket should work perfectly fine and yuo should be able to go to Southern Island with no problem at all. And yet you keep saying it doesn't work. An Eon Ticket card can be passed around to a bunch of poeple far as I know so evne if it's already used it should work fine. Anyways, here's the code.

they are different... IP addresses, which is enough to proof that the accounts below to 2 different people (there are exceptional cases but meh).

As for mewtwo87, why don't you make your own code? Use the devices listed in the FAQ and just use the calculator or maker to make the code you want.

There is a link to the Pokemon Palace Network at the top of the screen of these forums. Go there and check the GSSP codes section. It might be called Gameshark 3 codes or something.

demonchaos could you post the link to caculator for GSSP because i went through your other link and i culd not get it to work. and i dont know how it works really but what do you do when you get done putting in all the stuff you want and where does the code appear. The whole calculator is confusing to me.

PikaLover: Water the thing then. Berries take from 1-72 hours to grow with no watering. Far as I know, there isn't a code for speeding growth YET. Watering a plant once every hour will speed the grwoth up and make it produce more berries.

Football: Link/Calc #1: At the/near the top of the Calculator is a button saying 'Sample to Codes'. Click that to get the code. Link/Calc #2: In the bottom right corner is a button that says "Create Code". Click it to get the code. (Link 102 corresponds to the links in my signature)

which one will work for GSSP the first or the second

the first one will. I HATE THE 25 CHARACTER RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simon
July 6th, 2004, 06:04 PM
I wouldn't get excited about it though. Lots of people seem to have problems making GSSP Calculator codes work...but most of them seem to be the people that are new to the calculator. Whatever.

Mew9, you're not supposed to type text like that to extend your post. It's agaisnt the rules...least I think it is from some post Frosty made.

o, who actually cares. i feel that if u answer the question, 25 chara's should'nt matter. this isn't skool, so i should be able to use slang. we don't need to extend our vocab. ur starting to sound like a mod, demonchaos.

what i mean about the special stuff is that is there certain stuff hat has to be filled because the stuff right below where it says code save i have no idea what that means and do you have to put in the trainer id and the secret id and all that stuff besides making the pokemon stuff help me out please demonchaos

First off, don't double post.

Second, make sure you have chosen the correct code format corresponding to the cheating device you are using. VBA, I'm assuming is the emulator. AR/GSA/v1-2 would be AR and GSA versions 1 or 2. Not many people will be using these old versions, and if they are, they should update it. CB/GSv3+ is for Codebreaker and GSSP. 80 bytes I have no idea.

You don't have to do any tweaking with the 'Code Information' with all the Code Samples. Leave those alone.

The Code Save Info and Trainer Info is optional. You don't have to fill all of these in. The Code Save Info is for creating code saves which can be imported into one's cheating device PC program, and then uploaded into your cheating device itself through the use of the USB Cable that should've come with the cheating device. AR, GSA, and GSSP are the only ones that can take advantage of this option far as I know. The Code Save, created after you make the code, is a file with the code. The code is fully completed so you don't have to input all 20 somrthing lines of codes by hand.

Pokemon Info and all the way down is how you want your Pokemon to be. Refer to the Ruby/Sapphire FAQ for more infomation about the EVs/IVs/Hidden Powers if you want to use these.

what does the picture info mean like shiny or normal or do i leave it alone and what does heart circle and triangle mean as well and how do get master code

Simon
July 6th, 2004, 11:22 PM
That first question should be obvious. It lets you choose to have a normal colored Pokemon or a shiny Pokemon. The shapes are markings oyu can place next to your Pokemon's names (the ones that appear when you mark them while in the PC box). Master code is whichever one is the default that comes with the cheating device or is on the site associated with the cheating device.

Thanks Alot And I Got Them To Work But It Gave Me A Bad Egg What Does This Mean And I Have Read In Other Post Not To Save It So I Dident Please Help

Simon
July 7th, 2004, 02:23 PM
A Pokemon egg has dta in it that tells the game it's an egg with a Pokemon inside. A bad egg is an egg without the data. Since you already read the other posts, I'm assuming I don't have to explain any further about Bad Eggs and their effects.

Chances are you just left out a line of codes. That's the only ause for the Bad Egg. Other people who were new to the Calculator also recieved Bad Eggs but most of them managed to solve the problem by re-entering the values and remaking the code again.

When you make the code, make sure every line (except the description lines telling you which segment of the code is which) is actually a valid code line. I sometimes have problems when one line of codes isn't a code but instead it just says "B1 S1" (just an example) just for that line.

Where can I figure out how to make my own GSSP codes? How they work and stuff like that. Do you just enter random codes until you come up with something, or is there patterns that do certian things?

Jerome
July 16th, 2004, 09:56 PM
not sure if this is the right place to ask but after I used Action Replay on my Sapphire Cartridge I cannot use trade pokemon anymore, is it supposed to be like that?

Simon
July 16th, 2004, 10:09 PM
Rayquaza Master: That has absolutelty nothing to do with codes and is not the, nor ever was, the topic at hand.

Mewtwo87: No idea. Ask those at GS.com

Jerome: What do you mean? Do you mean you can't use Pokemon you've recieved in a trade or you cannot trade Pokemon? I've used the AR myself an I ahve never had any problems with it.

If you cannot trade Pokemon, then make sure you have the proper game link cable. You need a GBA Link cable. Old GBC and GBP, etc. will not work with the GBA. Also, you cannot trade with GSC or RBY games. Only RS game packs. If you have met all of those above, make sure the GBA cable is actually working and...that you are talking to the crrect person in the Pokemon Center.

If you can't use traded Pokemon, chances are you entered a code incorrectly and it has caused defects. I've had a problem with this once; Used a code with one incorrect digit, and while the code did work, my PokeDex no longer worked. You can attempt to fix this by saving the game with ALL codes off (heck, save the game without the AR plugged in). Then open up the AR, fix the code, check if everything's fine, then use the code.

Another solution could be that your AR is not up-to-date. Connect your AR to your PC, open up the AR program, then click the 'update' button. Refer to the cheat devices section of the FAQ for more information on updating.

And welcome to the PC. I hope you enjoy your stay here Jerome.

Jerome
July 16th, 2004, 10:15 PM
I bought a new cable to try and I also tried restarting the game but I still cannot trade it'll juz stay @ the please wait.. screen

Simon
July 16th, 2004, 10:24 PM
Then your AR has nothing to do with it. Either the connecter port on your GBA is busted or your friend's or whoever you are trading to has a busted port.

Jerome
July 16th, 2004, 10:51 PM
Is there any way to check which GBA's port is spoilt I tried with 3 gameboys so far none worked

Simon
July 16th, 2004, 11:07 PM
GBA link cables only work with other GBAs or GBASP. They will not work with the old Game Boy Color systems.

Jerome
July 16th, 2004, 11:08 PM
yeah I tried with 2 GBAs and 1 GBASP

Simon
July 16th, 2004, 11:10 PM
Three way trades or battles will not work. The only alloted number of palters is either 2 or 4. Three at the same time will not work. The only thing three players can do at the same time is mix records.
