We've had a lot of code related posts lately, I think I will condense them all to this one thread.

You may ask for codes here, troubleshoot problems with codes, etc.

This is not a thread to debate the morality of the codes, make a new topic for that if you want please. This is solely for helping our members use their codes and give them access to some.

http://rs-codes.nm.ru/

This program will make Pokmon, items, and room items. It makes the Pokmon any way you want, tweaking anything imaginable. It will produce a long code to enter, but it puts out code saves that you can download to your cheat device. You can also copy and paste the code to the ROM.

maybe some help here i have pokemon sapphire on my flash cart and just bought a action replay (the newest with the exclusive pokemon cheats).

but when i enter a code the game freezes when i try to start a game.

Kairi
September 25th, 2003, 06:16 AM
Well, they won't work on flash carts to my knowledge.

Since you have it on one though, it means you must have the ROM right? You could use an emulator to cheat on the ROM, then dump your save to the flash cart maybe?

You could also try turning the AR switch off after loading the codes, and then on again when the game starts.

As I said in the first post, this is for getting and helping with codes. It is not a place to debate their morality. Please leave that to a seperate topic.

What exactly is a flash cart?

Kairi
October 3rd, 2003, 09:16 AM
It's a Gameboy Cart with a rewritable memory so you cna put ROMs on to it and play them on your Gameboy.

You have to be careful though because with some of the Gameshark/Codebreaker/Action Replay codes they may not work. The codes I have got for my Action Replay only work if you search for the required Pokmon in route 101. Hope that helps!

Kairi

I think he means the program that comes with the Gameshark for your PC. Is it Gameshark Advance or for GBC?

Rodney
October 24th, 2003, 05:52 AM
Oh, right... I thought it was an emu because he said "gameshark (gameboy)" :dead:

Does anyone have Gameshark/AR/Codebreaker codes for Pokmon Pinball R/S? (Like infinte saver)

mewtwo-EX
October 25th, 2003, 05:36 AM
For the AR codes goto http://www.codejunkies.com/index1.asp , click your country, 'codes', 'GBA' and look for 'Pokemon Pinball R&S'. They have codes like Inf balls, Always ball saver, etc. Hope they help, but you should try playing w/out cheats for a while.

Ok, what you need to do is follow the link provided by Kairi at the beginning of this post. Download the R/S Calculator from that site, and set it to output CodeBreaker or GameShark codes. I've used it many times and have had it work, but I'm using a hardware AR v3. However, it should work for the GameShark built into Visual Boy. If this doesn't work, I don't know what to suggest except buy an AR and the game.

Errrrr.... Isn't that calculator for R/S? And weren't we talking about Pinball R/S?
And somehow, the codes work just fine right now... weird.

Which format did you set the output to? Gameshark, or raw code etc?

Did you click the right code type for the kind of output you got?

It's "Code format" in the upper-right hand corner be sure it is on VBA, and when you are putting in the code, be sure you click the "Code..." button.

Guys, be SPECIFIC about what kind of codes you want. Action Replay codes i'm not good with so I can't help you with those

mewtwo-EX
November 16th, 2003, 01:04 PM
For codes for Ruby or Sapphire, just use the RS Calculator. It's easy to use, and you can customize the pokemon before you get them. Much better than plugging in a random code found on the net, and then having your best pokemon replaced by accident. Link to get the RS Calc is at the beginning of the thread

I don't know how to get the cheat into the game...I try to type it in codebreaker but the game freezes...:( What should i do?

E. Master
November 21st, 2003, 03:42 PM
First you should try not to put alot of codes at the same time try putting on maby 1-2 codes at a time and if that does not work......*THINKING*........ try to start new game. And if that does not work don't no what to tell y'a.

Does any body have AR codes for magenium, I need them very badly!!! (AR) (AR) (AR) (AR)!!!!!!!!!!!

Way too many exclamation marks. Stretched the table boundaries. Refrain from that please.

Hey, will you ever be able to add v.3 GameShark SP codes? Or is the encryption those jerks put on the codes too rough to get around? You have no idea how hard it is to find ANY of the new Mad Catz v.3 GS SP codes, and it's the only kind you can buy in stores these days... Thanks! Really nice piece of software. =)

i found some great codes that work really well on my visual boy [these are the only that work for me!]

Ok Here they are:
Pokemon Ruby Master Code:
9E6AC862823AB7A8
46B7D9E4A709E9E1
Pokemon Sapphire Master Code:
9E6AC862823AB7A8
8365F8FA817CF3E9

With this code you can level up your Pokemon quickly, just disable the code when you want to stop leveling up.
Level up: 917FFE9BFB4A6ABB

With this code you can have infinite masterballs in the 1st slot in the items pocket, if you have an item in the 1st slot it will be overwritten move your items to your PC first(do not move the masterballs to the pc or they won't be infinite). After putting in this code you can get rid of the code(make sure you save) and you should still have infinite masterballs.

Does anybody knows where I can find gameshark codes for the berries that you can get them from the e-card???

I'm asking this because in this page: http://www.serebii.net/pokemon_advance/berrydex/ if you go to the last ones you will see that there are more berries like: Chilan Berry, Nutpea Berry, Pumkin Berry, Drash Berry, etc. So I don't know if someone knows the codes for these berries, please, I've been looking for them for so long that I got tired

Well thank you for reading and more if you help me!!!

(I know it's the same post of this one: http://pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=2679 ,but frostweaver told me that this is the right forum, anyways please help me!!! and thank you)

December 2nd, 2003, 07:05 PM
Well it is kind'a easy you have to enter all the codes seprety the you turn on all the codes then go to your 1st box in the PC but all the pokemon in box 1 will be deleted but there will be an egg that says "It's making sounds it is about to hatch!" then it will hatch in 500 steps the presto you have a jirachi I was very very lucky and I got a shiny jirachi!

Ok I'm confused. Can these codes work on a real GSA And a real game and gameboy advance?? I got no problem getting the codes fromt he calucator to work but i want to know is there anyway to get the gsa codes to work on a real gsa and game?? I'm getting a gbasp and pokemon sapphire for christmas. If i pick up a gsa will i be able to use the codes from the calculator?

Kairi
December 9th, 2003, 03:47 PM
Yes, just be sure you choose the output as GSA. Otherwise it wont, and you can make a codesave so you can download the codes from your computer strait to your Gameshark, which is much quicker.

O Ok thanks kairi. And for the people looking for codes go here. http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/game/32745.html I can't link directly to the faq but go to that page. The gameshark codes faq are the last 2 on that page. It haves every single gameshark code for r/s i think.

And not to get off subject but i see you like kairi from kingdom hearts. I loved kingdom hearts!! Kairi better have a bigger part in kh2. Although in the kh2 trailer kairi is no where to be seen (Unless thats her in the very beggining with the bag) And neither is riku(unless he is one of the unknowns with the hood) But mickey looked really cool with that black hood of his. And i'm 16 saying that. lol!

You sure?? I don't have the real game or a real gameshark to try it out but i've used alot of them codes on the emulator using the gameshark feature. Are you using the right master codes?? Maybe u just have a old gameshark or something.

Dude it is an attached document you have to go through all the posts to find it I will post the japinees version.

-------------------

GSAJ1. Gameshark Codes.

-------------------

-------------------------

GSAJ1.1 Shiny & Gender Codes.

-------------------------

NOTE : Don't mix the "Always Shiny Codes", the "Always Male/Female Codes",

and the "Always Shiny & Male/Female Codes". Use only one of them at the

same time.

-------------------------

GSAJ1.1.1 Always Shiny Codes.

-------------------------

Enter all these codes, and you'll encounter always shiny Pokmons, but there

is a downside... It'll "lock" the gender and the traits of the Pokmons.

That means you'll encounter always male Kimori, or always female Bulbasaur

(it'll be different for everyone).

So if you want a Male/Female Shiny Pokmon, and you can't have it using

these

codes, check the part 1.1.3," Always Shiny & Male/Female Codes".

If you use theses codes, Nintendo might know that your Pokmon has been

hacked.

Always Shiny Pokmon Codes :

F5AE2C2DA9506326

02F8D8D580244211

03CE65BEAD555E3A

85E65C7ABC952305

557B46655E13D573

A5215368046B98E5

-------------------------------

GSAJ1.1.2 Always Male/Female Codes.

-------------------------------

Enter one of these codes and you'll set the gender of the next wild Pokmon

you'll see (if it has any gender or course).

Note : It can still be Shiny, but with a chance of 1/8192.

If you use theses codes, Nintendo might know that your Pokmon has been

hacked.

Always Female Pokmons Code :

73920119C3730B41

Always Male Pokmons Code :

5BF2502185F53713

---------------------------------------

GSAJ1.1.3 Always Shiny & Male/Female Codes.

---------------------------------------

These codes are very long, so take your time while typing them.

Enter first the 11th lines "Enabler Code", then either the "Be Shiny Male"

or the "Be Shiny Female" code, and you'll set the gender/shinyness of the

next wild Pokmon you'll encounter. Moreover, the traits should still be

random.

Once the Enable Codes has been entered, you MUST enter one of the other

Shiny Gender codes. After that, if you want to catch Male & Female Shiny

Pokmons in the same row, you can just disable the Shiny Gender code you put

on, and enter & activate the other one (but NEVER make the 2 Shiny Gender

codes activated at the same time).

If you use theses codes, Nintendo might know that your Pokmon has been

hacked.

Enable Codes :

Ok look... those codes were for a Gameshark SP... no other gameshark... and first you have to "Add new Game" and the Master code is the ones there... after that you "Add New Cheat" and you use that base cheat down there and THEN you add the last code part depending on the PKMN you want... and E. Trainer or whatever your SN was... i'm sorry if i seemed rude but that is the way i talk... i could care less about what other people think about me but yes i'm sorry if i offended you. OH and YEA... I TESTED THEM!!! IT WORKS!!!! i got a "crapload" of old pokemon and plus those hidden ones ^_^ JOY!!!!

Ok look... those codes were for a Gameshark SP... no other gameshark... and first you have to "Add new Game" and the Master code is the ones there... after that you "Add New Cheat" and you use that base cheat down there and THEN you add the last code part depending on the PKMN you want... and E. Trainer or whatever your SN was... i'm sorry if i seemed rude but that is the way i talk... i could care less about what other people think about me but yes i'm sorry if i offended you. OH and YEA... I TESTED THEM!!! IT WORKS!!!! i got a "crapload" of old pokemon and plus those hidden ones ^_^ JOY!!!!

its not working, i went to the make a new game thing i started yping it and theni realized that the code was to long and yes i have gs sp

Untested

If you use theses codes, Nintendo will not know that your Game has been hacked.

Choose either one of these codes :

- Switch Shiny/Normal Colors in Battle :

With this code, all "normal" Pokemon will look Shiny, and all Shiny Pokemon
will look normal during battles. They'll go back to normal once the code if
off.

9C9A6FEF 898BA04C
B9D6A4E9 F3B94D86

We choose to make the Shiny Pokemon become normal so you can still find (and
catch) them during the game.

In answer to Syther's question, you need to click on the AR GBX button, wait for the codes to be read, then click on the PC DATABASE button, select your codes, then click RESTORE. Hope this helps.

If this doesn't work, I don't know what to suggest except buy an AR and the game.
that link is broken.. can someone find me that calc? i'd like to offer it on a more stable (and real) site.. mine.

How do i use the poke callculator and what doest it actually do?

The R/S Calc takes information you put in (eg. pokemon, gender, trainer data, ribbons, EV, PP, moves, level, exp,...) and makes a Hex code formatted for different cheat devices such as Action Replay, GameShark and CodeBreaker. Simply input the stats you want your pokemon to have, then click the 'generate' button. A code will appear on the right side of the screen. You can either type that in manually into the device, or click the 'create file' button (name might be different) and make the code into a file that you can open using the ARGBX program or the GameShark equivilent.

Note that you need to choose the Box and Slot that you want the pokemon to appear in. Make sure that that slot is empty, else the existing pokemon will be deleted. Also, as long as the code is on, moving the pokemon out of the slot it was spawned in will result in a copy being made. To avoid this, make sure to turn the device off before moving the pokemon. Also (again) you probably don't know your 'Secret ID'. If the Secret ID of the pokemon and that of the game don't match, then the pokemon won't be considered 'yours' and thus you can't change its name. Also (3X) The PokeDEX won't be updated with the pokemon cheat. You need to generate a PokeDEX cheat or spawn the pokemon in one cart and trade to the cart you want them in.

Hope this helps.

Make sure that you have the export settings correct in the calc. you probably want PAR v.3 or GSA. If you're typing the codes into the GBA, make sure you only type 8 characters at a time. If you have the PC software, generate a codesave, then load it into the software and export it to the GBA over USB. I might be able to give more detailed instructions if I knew more details about your set up.

Erm... I have a VBA, right? And I inputted all the codes for Legendaries. Then I try to write the save for my rom on the EZ cart. But it doesnt work? I'm getting really irritated! Please reply!

I have never before played or used a ROM, but I'm anxiously awaiting FR/LG since Ru/Sa weren't really my thing (don't care for many of the new pokemon).

What I had hoped to do is play through Ru/Sa on a ROM with a team of old pokemon from the original 150, specifically squirtle, nidoran (female), pidgey, jolteon, ponyta and bellsprout. I downloaded Ruby for VGBA and I've been messing around with the cheat menu, and looking up tutorials on how to work it but I can't quite figure it out. :(

Guess it doesn't help that I'm not that bright with stuff like this even if it is my first time. Unless it's too much trouble could someone give me a step-by-step run-down of what I need to be doing, as well as the codes for those six pokemon? I'm not sure if I need to specify this with how little of it I know, but I'd prefer all the pokemon to be in their first evolutionary state (save for jolteon) as I'm only wanting to play through with my old Red/Blue dream team. Thanks in advance.

I apologize if this isn't the appropriate place for the post, but it seemed the most likely thread.

I have this code thing, but its not gameshark or codebreaker.
Its format is this: FFFFFFFF FF
FFFFFFFF FF
FFFFFFFF FF.
Does anyone know what this is? Also, help would be appreciated for the message I posted before this. Thanks!

If you add two more variables behind the last two digits, then it will become the Codebreaker, I think... I'm still confused. But, to the point, I don't know what this format is.

By the way, does anyone know the GS codes for modifying pokemon moves?

for general AR / GSA codes, goto www.codejunkies.com (http://www.codejunkies.com) or www.gameshark.com (http://www.gameshark.com) . They have master codes for R/S as well as pokemon codes. Once you have the master code in the device, just use the cheat calc to create your own pkmn codes. If you choose to use the pkmn codes on the websites above, be advised that they are regestered to AAAAAAAA #00000 or something similar and appear in box 1 slot 1 at level 5 or so. I'll post more when I get the time, hope this helps.

The Clock bug can be fixed with the disk that comes with a preorder for Pokemon Colosseum. (not to mention a free Jarachi although you could hack a better one just as easily)

The GS should use the same code format as the ARGBX. Thus, you can use codes from codejunkies.com . I got my Action Replay by upgrading my Gameshark with the PC software, so I assume that it would work the other way...maybe. If the code format is 88888888 88888888 then it should work.

I've got Sapphire. that, and how about codes for the Dragon types and Steel types. oh, yeah... igot jirachi, groudon, latios& deoxys, but they are'nt on my pokedex... why? and is there a code for a complete pokedex? AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... WHAT DOES THE DESIGNER GIVE YOU IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR POKEDEX?

Note 1: During battle with Trainer, enter Fight menu then press R+Up.
Note 2: Place the Pokemon you wish to edit in the first slot.
Note 3: Only use on Pokemon that have all Ability Slots occupied. Use with 'Ability to Learn Modifier' codes(See Note 4.)
Pokemon will not gain experience with this code on.
Note 4: After battle, when given the option to replace an existing Ability, press the assigned buttons to modify the given Ability.

Sorry for double post, but my post is too long.

I am sorry, but I just need to say this. If Pokemon really was for cheating, then they would allow you to install codes directly. Game Shark just takes away from the fun of playing Pokemon in a fresh game instead of playing illegitimately.

http://www.supercheats.com/gameboyadvance/pokemonsapphirecodes2.htm
i found this there
The national dex, is the improved version of the pokedex, where it shows ALL 386 of the pokemon.(once you see them and catch them of course) It also changes the new pokemon's numbers to what they originally should have been(ex. Sceptile is #001 according to the regular old hoenn dex, in the National Dex, it is #252(rite after CELEBI))

Step One. Create a new game in your action replay cartridge like pokedex, or somthing.

Step two, type in this M code:
DE00AAFD 2EBD05D0
B4564EFE 23F44BF2

Step three. Type in the unlock national dex code which is this:
15E831F4 2F7ED308
DA560CBD BFA58820
6319638A 36FA43D5

After this is done, turn on both codes, and there you have it.

You're not supposed to say this, read the first post, I think.

Yes i'm sure, i tried to use the calculator to make a code for me to get masterballs, and this code is SUPPOSEDLY make my 1st item in item PC 99 masterball

02025BCC 00630001

can someone try this code and then tell me if it works?

that code right there works.
only I use it on the part of the gba where it just says code.
not gameshark or anything else.
02025BCC = item mod for the first slot of the pc.

I enter it like this

02025BCC:001 and that gives me masterballs in the first slot
of the pc.
the quantity mod is like 02025BCD OR 02025BCE I don't remember it.
but no master code was required.
which is very nice.

when I get home from school if I have time i'll post the codes on here.
does anyone know how to hack the code to catch any pokemon?
or even better to make eggs hatch faster?
I love the games, but honestly I hate the walking around waiting for eggs to
hatch.
thanks y'all later

Hmm...any chance that there is a code that lets you capture a Pokemon on your first try for Action Replay v3.3? I've found 2 off of GameFaqs.com so far but none of them work. Well, they work for my Pokey Sapphire Rom but not for my real Pokey Sapphire.

I'm having some problems with my AR. Everytime I use a code that lets me catch any pokemon i want the game freezes up whenever I run into a pokemon. I'm sure I have the code right cause I downloaded it using the USB Cable and I didn't download my ROM file onto the real thing. The codes used to work fine but now it's freaking out. And it still works fine for my rom on the comp.

Ya, I also think it depends on what kind of Pokemon you are catching. For all the old characters, my game never freezes; but with the new ones, I can't only not catch the new Pokemon, but my game freezes sometimes too. I downloaded the codes from CodeJunkies.com, too, but the new-guy codes don't work. Anyway, what I do when I have my AR on, is I walk around instead of running. That seems to help prevent my game from freezing or restarting.

Yeah, I have no problems with the old pokemon in RBYGSC but the new pokemon in R/S freezes up. I'll try that not running thingy.

A.R. codes for "catch any Pokemon".

Simon
April 21st, 2004, 04:52 PM
I found some codes for ActionReplay for 'Catching Any Pokemon' that auctually works (I think most of them do) and isn't bugged like the ones you can get from downloading off the site using the USB cable for those of you, like me, who are having problems with those codes off of Codejunkies. I got it off of GameFaqs.com.

IMPORTANT: You have manually make a a new game (add a new game in your AR) and name if whatever you want and enter a different (M) code though but that shouldn't take long since those codes are short and you can copy and paste them onto your AR program.

Here are the 2 M codes:

Sapphire-A2E564FE 0FB58A54 B4564EFE 23F44BF2
Ruby-A2E564FE 0FB58A54 530823D9 16558191

And here are the codes fo the pokemon themselves. You can remove them by moving the switch ob your AR to the right then save your game and auctually turn the game off.

Note: If a code doesn't work, turn the switch on the corner of your AR off and get into a random battle. Then turn the switch back on and see if it works. That's what the writer of these codes said to do.
