I don't mean to be indirect with the title of this thread, but I really need a title for my story I made up (and will write). Here is the main plot-

It's sometime in the 1700's or 1800's on earth. Aliens from far away find, after thousands of years of evolution, that an invisible but powerful energy ties the universe together. Unfortunately, they cannot hold or focus this energy, so it darkens their hearts. They build a super-robot that is to be sent to earth to destroy the ones believed to have the most potential to use this energy. Once it is completed, it is sent, very fast warp speed, to earth. When it arrives, it is new year's night of 2000.

The robot is shaped and made just like a human. It's fake skin can even be tested and turn out as pure human- because the mechanization keeps the skin alive. Anyway, it kills by sending a concentrated laser out of it's eye. The laser realigns and polarizes every atom in the target's body, killing them instantly, with no visual confirmation of murder. Here's the catch- the robot takes the outer appearance of the victims.

I have a continuing story for it, but I really need a title. Thanks for anyone's help.

It can be tough sometimes to think of a title that works really well for a story... or just a title thats not cliqu in general. Usaully a title relates heavily on a main character(s) or an event that happens, in this case dealing with robots (andriods), something along the lines of what the name of the robot is.

LT right, you might want to think of what the storis about, like a murdering RObot, and base the name on that, or just what the robot is, because it is about the robot, or maybe even the main charectors name, or maybe even something really simple that has to do with the plot, or the place the robot originally came from.
What usualy makes it easier to make a name, is to finish the whole story and then name it, because you then now everything there is to know about the story and would know the proper name to give it.

Morph?

I'm big on simple titles.

I appreciate all of your help, but I think I will think up a title ( )once the entire story is finished. Although I have taken into consideration all three advices, I will probably go with a two-worded, simple title. When I'm done writing, that is.
