Manga Scans?

I want to read the manga with yellow in it, or gold/silver one, but nowhere near me sells it to my knowledge. And on Pokemon Special the Book Snippets got me hooked from 3 snippets.

once i get a better scanner i plan to give some manga scans of volumes 9 and above (in korean), and i want to give translations to the manga.

In america, Viz stopped the publications of Pokemon Adventures(Special) for some reason maybe... In a time period of 2 years, trying to find the Yellow Caballero chapters will just drive you to order it in the internet.

that will take me a LONGGGGG time. :confused: but i was hoping i could do so and post it up on my webpage. =) i'm just trying to figure out how to make good scans without ruining my manga books. =(

Well it you do have a good scanner thats not a run throught scanner but a scanner where you set it in there and it dosent move you can just not fold back your scanner and clean up the scans. If you have a run through scanner, may i suggest digital camera (webcams tend to come out bad)

Hi im new and i like the manga. i have never found a good link. i do have a scanner but it broked. i have a coupla weird jap mangas. but those are the 1s where jiggly puff is bigget than red. can some1 send me some links?
Note: no it wasnt Pokemon Special, this one was published in this one magazine... not corocoro comics or shonen jump. also my scanner isnt broke ne more (i fixed it) also i am scanning and translating some comics that i think might be Pokemon Special but im not shure. any one wanting the manga can get it @ www.geocities.com/pok3mon2004 it will be up around friday

yea...but still i don't want to bend the original book. :D they need a "V" shapped scanner so i can comfotably put the book on top and it can scan 2 pages at once. do those exist?

Why not sign up for a geocities or any free webhosting account, upload them and then post the link to the picture or convert the picture format to .txt (If you need to direct link)?

I wonder if it (the law) affects full or any manga scans. I ought to check it out too ;P

I guess you mean full scans, and that has something to do with copyrighted material O_O;;
With all those hard work those Artists and Storyline writers have put in, free manga scans circulations on the web will be the last thing they will want to happen.

there are tons of online manga people scanned. =/ i've read many of them for free, most of them were "scanlations".

scanning full pages = ripping cds into mp3s = ripping games into roms

i think mp3s and games are what companies worry about more. :confused:

Maybe if they are games and music companies...but companies that publish the manga would be as pissed off at scanning and 'scanlations' as Nintendo is whenever a game is made into a ROM

That probably will not happen if the manga is translated and distributed everywhere, but sadly, it isn't. I heard from someone that the manga is not available in Poland and many other countries that are not in Asia.

I've seen tons and tons of people scan manga and one that even scanned like the whole volume! I don't see any shutting down on it... BTW The games are more expensive than a manga book, why would they worry about the manga more?

Episode Pictures are fine as it does not include the text of the episode and makes people want to see the episode themselves. My pics dont show every moment either

Scanning the Manga is illegal. And that does not change at all. It is as important as games or episodes. They may be less expensive but that doesnt make them any less important

The only reason those sites didnt get shut down is because Nintendo hasnt been made aware of them. I know for a fact that I get Nintendo Reps on my site so my putting them up would be suicide

hummm screen shots of movies/episodes/manga and game screen shots all belong to them, its either nintendo or gamefreak (i'm not quite sure). the only thing that we can LEGALY say belongs to us is a walkthrough of the games we write ourselves or episode synopsis or fan fiction or fan art ect; everything else belongs to them.

oh yes, card scans also belong to nintendo or wotc whoever made them. =/ but card dekc strategies that we write ourselves and imaginary decks that were create can belong to us.

there used to be one with full toshiro ono scans...it was called "Pikachu Thundershock" if i remember correctly. the web page was also about aaml. :P i loved that webpage, they had the full scans zipped.

mmm, people can still personally share manga without large companies knowing, its just that posting it on large web pages makes it obvious. its like "here's the evidence, now arrest me!" :D hehheh.

oooo, translating bubbles seems like fun! i guess that would be a safer way to go.

I have never heard that Pokemon manga scans are illegal in Poland (I'm from Poland). ROMS are very common in Poland and many sites have them but no one of them has trouble of it!!! I NEED POKEMON MANGA SCANS!!!! I have a few scans of Dengeki Pikachu and Anime Comic in chinese and a few Anime Comic and Dengeki Pikachu in English (I scanslated first chapter of Anime Comic into polish) and I have one Russian scanslation of Dengeki Pikachu. It's all I have. I need more.

Guide is not that I need. I believe there are people that have Pokemon Manga scans. I need them! I know the Netkun is Editor of Pokemon Special. I simply hate when Serebii talks about illegaliblity of Pokemon Manga Scans. On every forums he writes about them and removes links to manga scans website. He drives me ANGRYYYYYYYYY!!!!
