Ash's Hat

Ok as we all know he has had a outfit make over. I was ok with it, except for the hat. If I recall there was an episode where Ash's hat was stolen from a wild Mankey. Ash began to whine about how he sent in so many contest entry forms to win that hat, and that it meant so much to him. If it meant SOO much to him then why the heck did he get a new hat? Who here agrees?

P.s. I guess it not really Ash's fault xD It the creators of the show. xD But anyways you all understand what I'm saying, I hope.

I noticed that too. His new hat looks nice, but if the hat was so special to him, then why bother changing hats? I'd be fine if he still wore the same old hat.

But then he might look a little weird having changed everything but that hat...

Honestly I like his original clothes better, but I was fien with the new ones. It's just the hat that bugged me.

Satoshi's news clothes look pretty 1337. Better than his old ones. And I imagine after all those years, his clothes (and hat) would become pretty raggy.

I do agree though that they made him give up the hat after a whole episode about it.

I like his new hat better. He probably changed hats because his Mom bought it for him and he happens to have manners. I couldn't see Ash throwing a fit over what hat he wears besides he still owns it. He just left it in Pallet town.

The hat looks fine. Both his outfits are fine too. :/ They needed a change of clothes for Ash so might as well when the advanced season started.

Maybe he's unable to adjust the size of the hat and it got too small for him to continue to wear it, so his mom bought him a new hat and outfit. But, I'm just a schizophrenic person who comes up with a lot of theories, mainly about the government.

I think the creators maybe forgot about the Mankey episode, and why that hat is so treasured by him. But the new hat that he has isn't so bad either. It kinda looks cool on him. :P (But I did notice one thing....I know the hat has half of a PokeBall, and the other half of the Pokeball is on his shirt, but...did anyone else notice that the half of the PokeBall on his hat is the same as the Osiris shoe company sign?)

Agreed :\. That Primeape episode confused me and seeing back on past posts it doesn't make sense that he left the oh-so-ever-idolized hat. Although his new clothes are pretty cool. And one thing always bugged me about the old hat...to me it looked like the Quicksilver(or one of those 0.o) logo.

Thats true but if something was so special to me like Ash's hat was to him I doubt I would want to throw it away. It like those stories you here of a dad having an autographed baseball that he got when he was a kid. It meant alot to him so he kept it for so many years. And that if anything were to happen to it he would be devistated, because it had sentimental (sp?) value. I guess that's just how I pictured Ash and his hat. So it confused me when he got a new one.

I really liked his old hat. The only thing I can think of is that he out grew it and had to get a new one. That, or his hair got more volume to it over the years...
