I'm not very far, but I like it a lot. Not as much as Zelda of course, but it's a good game.

I try not play it when my mother is near. The occasional cuss word may catch us off guard. Lol

Thanks to Erica I know some "spoilers" (not that I mind, I love spoilers) so now I'm teasing my little brother with little "I know something you don't know." Lol ^^

I liked the part when it seemed like everyone had died when they were trying to rescue Colette, and then all of a sudden the rest of the team members bust in. SURE IT WAS CORNY. But it was cool. ^__^ Too bad Zelos couldn't be there, because I'd pick Kratos over Zelos anyday...

And I liked the Hot Springs scene too! That was hilarious!

If you choose to go outside Kratos in Flanoir and get him back later in the game, when you spend the night at Triet Inn, you get a cute little skit between Kratos and Lloyd. <3 It's cute~

I DID like Lloyd's father scene... Until Colette came and made her speech. That just... Ruined the scene for me. But Mithos kicking Yuan was cool! I'm so mean, I let the Desians whip Marble for quite a long time. o.0 It was because Genis ticked me off for some reason...

When I saw Mithos, I was kind of guessing he was Yggdrasill's long lost son, and I was all WTF is up with Mithos? I was wondering if he was Yggdrasill, but the idea didn't sound right to me.

... Oh, and I liked the scene with Lloyd about to fight Kratos for the final time. Well, not really the scene, just the fight, the music, the "I'm not gonna hold back this time!" then... "I know, I won't either" (something like that, been awhile).

For some reason, I liked the scene with Remiel in the Tower of Salvation. I just do. Colette got RED EYES. And she turned all zombie like. ^__^

...I don't HATE Colette. She just got on my nerves most of the time, because of her stupidity in battle. I could rant about it all day. And it's rather annoying that the game has to focus on her when you take the Kratos path, because, well, I like Lloyd/Sheena MUCH more than Lloyd/Colette. And, you can't get the Sheena Flanoir scene if you want the Kratos path... Argh.

I want to see Zelos's Flanoir scene too... Heard it was sad.

zomg. The background music for that fight is the best in the entire game. I've been obsessed with the song for about 48 hours now. XD Kratos' theme sorta starts in the middle of it, which is nifty. <3

I'm not too far into the game. Colette didn't bother me. I actually liked the Lloyd Colette pairing (Erica will hurt me for saying that Lol) only because there was just one part where it was really sweet and stuff and she wasn't annoying at that moment. So, those two positive aspects combined at the same moment went over well for me. But now, she annoys me. Apologizes too much (er...although I do too), is clumsy (again...me too), but she was really annoying believe it or not during a scene about her. @@ When we find out about her not feeling anything. She just really annoyed me, and then the hug irked me. Lol Down with Colette!

And I think Lloyd and Colette is kinda cute. o.o;;;; but Lloyd and Raine is better. That's my next goal: make sure Raine is the best relationship. I want to see that ending variation. ^_^

Mm... new topic! Who do you control in battle?

I control Lloyd mostly. I HAVE to work with Lloyd, at least until the Tetha'lla characters come in. I can fight pretty well with Sheena too. I could probably fight well with Presea, but I never do. I just never feel like it.

I can sort of fight with Colette (she has to have her wings though). But I'm not fond of her weapons and the way she uses them. They're too random and... everywhere.

I can't fight with Kratos/Zelos. At all. -_- And magic users bore me... And Regal hardly fights in my party. My main party is Lloyd, Sheena, Kratos/Zelos, and Raine. I used to fight with Genis alot but... Enemies always flock to my magic users, and it's really annoying to me...

So yeah, I mostly use Lloyd, and sometimes Sheena if I feel like it. But Sheena's combos really confuse me. LIFE POWER CYCLONE DEMON PYRE SEAL!!!! I lurvs her Summoning Chants though. ^__^

I personally like using Lloyd. Everyone else is either too slow for me, or they're magic users, which I don't like using too much. You can't hit things very well. I like hitting things. o.o;;
(and Lloyd's techs are so cool-looking... *starts using Raging Beast* *pause* *pause again* *watches it bit by bit* =D)
That, and when magic users get cornered by big enemies, there's no way they're getting out of there. They're kinda screwed. Lloyd, however, can use Tempest and magically jump over them. =D and then I can distract the enemy while the others regroup XD

OMG I am SO joining!! I just got the game on the beginning of March (the 3rd I think...) and I already beat it. Right now I'm rtying to beat Abyssion. So...evil...@@ It takes all my gels and life bottles...Thank goodness for Raine...

Anyways, my party goes along these lines
Lloyd (given) // Raine (needed healer) // Presea (secondary melee) // Genis (mage) OR Sheena (summons). Sheena pwns in the summons. ^_^

My favorite scene has to be when Lloyd and Kratos face off right before you get Origin. It's hilarious (I had the paper fan equipped). Lloyd: I won't hold back. *holding paper fan* XD!

But the final boss (Mithos/Yggdrasill) was uberfully easy...I killed him in about 10 hits from the Kusigani Blade...also, I beat Sword Dancer 3 at level 59...thank goodness for All-Divides. XD

Oh Erica...could you please do me a favor?...(I have a really bad feeling about this, 'cause I just know what you'll say. XD) Could you make me a Presea or Sheena banner?...(I know - this isn't a request thread. XD;. But I can't find any decent pictures to use to make one, and I can't draw. ><) Please?

I thought the final boss was easy too. Except for Retribution... That technique is EVIL...

I'm not sure if I want Genis as an S or T type this time around. Last time he was a T type, and he's a T type again but I have the Strike Ring. Problem is, I don't know which moveset I want him with. I think I'm just gonna go with T type, then do S type next game.

I hate training. I really do. It's the most boring and most evil activity in every RPG. That's why I never seem to get anywhere in pokemon games these days. =/

... And this is random. But Colette learns Stardust Cross at LV 50 right? But it NEVER got activated in my first playthrough. Does anyone know why in the world she wouldn't activate it?

@_@ I still haven't gotten Zelos back on my New Game + yet (I'm not even at the third seal in Sylvarant XD;; *slow*) But... oO; I can't wait to see if he really is any easier than Kratos. I'm pretty sure I remember him being a bit faster, at least. @_@; As long as you equip Kratos with a LV2 Ex-Gem with Dash, it makes him a lot easier to use. =\ I just hate having to stand back and use spells since I'm not patient enough to wait for him. xD; (Trying to make Kratos use judgement is so boring. By the time he casts it, everyone else has finished the battle. o___o)

I absolutely LOVE this game to death. Its by far my favorite game ever... and I love everything about it xD This is the only one that you can really play over and over and over again and not get bored with it... IMO.

I just beat Kvar (I love that Kratos quote! Feel the pain *stab of those inferior beings *stab* as you burn in hell!), and I'm about to do the Tower of Mana once I get the key from Clara. Team is at LV 30 I believe. Planning to be LV 35 - 36 for Tower of Salvation.

... I'm not sure if I want Kratos in my party, or make Zelos my soulmate this game so I can get all his scenes. I really only want to see Zelos' Flanoir scene, I don't care about the rest. So I'll probably go with Kratos.

And Zelos...is too much of a showoff. only scene I like with him is where they put the bird mask and feathery hat on him. XD!

Well, um, it's Zelos. It's kinda hard to miss them. o_x;; Just... try to avoid any z-skits with Zelos in them and you should be fine... even though those rock. ;-; (Zelos calls Lloyd his hunny! <3)

*waves hand around* I hated Zelos from the get-go! I called him "Imitation-Kratos" for a while since I didn't deem him important enough to remember his name. XD Then I got the Kratos-ending thing (well, it's technically the Colette ending but you get Kratos back <__<) and I went on Zelos withdrawal or something... and now that I've got him back, I hate him again. Well, not hate, but there's just something about him that irks me. He looks funny when he casts spells, though. =D

Oh! Just go for the Zelos ending and save an extra file just before the Night in Flanoir skit. Then you can go outside with Zelos, save, and then use the other file to go outside with Kratos. ^_^ It doesn't matter how high or low your relationship with Kratos, I think. He'll show up as long as you deny everyone else, so it should work. =o I plan on doing this so I can write down the entire dialogue from the Kratos scene since I've forgotten some of what was said. XD

<3 I control Kratos. He's kinda tough to get used to at first (being so much slower than Lloyd), but now I'm great with him. I'll probably control Zelos later on, depending on how he feels in battle... I can't remember anymore, so I might end up back with Lloyd, too. xD;

He is kink of slow, but he is cool, I'm controling him in my second playthrough (that is when he is accually in the party).

Anyone got any good combos with him, I kept my techs, and took the techs like Light Spear (can't remember if it's S or T-type).

GOD, I'm tired of leveling up. Lloyd's at 38, Raine and Genis are 37, and everybody else is 36. I want to train everyone up to level 42-40 before I fight Pronyma, but it's so BORING.

I can play with Presea a little bit, but she's slow. And her combos really suck. I'm just used to Lloyd's Sword Raine Alphas and Omega Tempests. And Sheena's all about comboing the mess out of her enemies and ending it with a Pyre Seal.

Hmm, should I keep my current banner, or request a new one? I don't know if I want another one, and I don't want to ask and then not want it... Shoot, why can't we have two banners?

At the time he came, I was still all spazzy-obsessive about Kratos in the game, so I was just annoyed when Kratos had left the party as a traitor and Zelos, who was basically identical to Kratos in everything but personality (...okay, so they both had the same techs and red hair; close enough!! XD), replaced him.

In the Colloseum Singles I'm best with Kratos. In Party, I'm best with Kratos, Lloyd and Raine. o_O Genis isn't too bad in singles either, as long as you set the right foods for cooking. X3;

Summon Spirits?...Maxwell was incredibly easy. (Maybe it was because I leveled up too much. Or maybe it was becuase he was puny and weak. Or maybe it was a little bit of both. XD) Gnome was a bit of a challenge, Slyph were easy, the rest were normal. o.o;

Hm, favorite Summon Spirit? Probably Celsius. I just liked her techniques the most. And her opening was cool (no pun intended).

Undine - Easy as pie.

Efreet - Efreet wasn't hard, but he was annoying. Stupid Flames of Destruction...

Sylph - Sylph was the hardest. Lloyd was killed just trying to get to one of them. That was the only battle I can think of where Kratos died.

Celsius - I had fun fighting her. I don't know why, it was just fun.

Volt - Really easy.

Gnome - Why does it seem like wherever I go, everyone seemed to struggle with Gnome? I thought he was one of the easiest ones! And I was using the worst party, Colette, Regal, Presea, and Lloyd.

Shadow - His temple was the hard thing...

Luna/Aska - They were average. Luna was frickin annoying with her Photon though.

Origin - Rather easy.

Maxwell - I couldn't stun him. At all. He wasn't HARD, but I couldn't stun him. For some reason, that made me mad. I like stunning enemies. =/

I normally use Kratos/Zelos, Lloyd, Raine/Genis and Regal/Genis. =o Obviously, with the exception of the final human ranch, Kratos and Zelos depend on which one I have in the party at the time. Lloyd is always there because he's spiffy. Sometimes I'll have Genis switched in for Raine, but normally that's just while I'm trying to get Kratos or Zelos to learn their healing techs. o_O Otherwise I keep Raine. Then lastly, my brother controls Regal and likes to play with me, so if he's there, I've got Regal in the party. If not, it's Genis. XP

whats your fav villan: mine is yggdrasil because I like to kick his rear alot, he's too easy!!

fav summon spirit: either efreet or maxwell...... I choose maxwell cuzz he knows meteor storm, which does alot of damage to me, (I LOVE to take damage because at the end of the game on the game record, I'm trying to reach 700,000 damage!! ^^)

which party do ya use: I use Kratos, (if I have him) lloyd, raine, and sheena (that way I can summon origin and maxwell.)

My party?

Depends on my mood really. I control Lloyd about 90% of the time. Raine always has a spot too.

I've been using Presea a lot lately. I like how she can beat the crap out of enemies in a few blows. Her slowness is a bit annoying though... But most of the time, I'll use Sheena in place of Presea, due to Sheena being much faster, and her Summoning abilities. Sheena is pretty protective of Kratos and Lloyd for some reason.

And finally, Genis/Kratos, depends who I'm fighting. I'll most likely use Kratos though, because I know Kratos can take care of himself. I always have to get someone to save Genis, and since Raine is always in my party and enemies always flock to the Healers...

I use Colette more than most actually. I think she's a tad bit underrated. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's the best or anything, because Colette is pretty dumb in battle. But I find Holy Song and Judgment really handy. Colette sooooo needs Retribution...

But I have to rescue Colette quite a bit. She just can't defend herself too well, she must have someone protecting her constantly. It's like all the enemies are in the same league with the Desians or something. But I notice whenever Lloyd is in trouble, Colette immediatly runs over and attacks like a nut, but she doesn't seem to give a flying crap about anyone else, especially Sheena.

Like a fight I had recently. We just beat Pronyma, and Sheena was on the verge of dying (Pronyma would NOT leave her alone) and I didn't feel like healing her. So we were heading down the mountains, and the party (Lloyd, Colette, Sheena, and Genis) ran into a monster.

Two of the monsters (can't remember what kind) cornerned Sheena, but Lloyd was stuck in a corner too so I couldn't get to her, and Genis was casting some spell. What was Colette doing? Staring right at Sheena, and she didn't move an inch. I checked like five times if Colette was on the wrong setting, but Colette wasn't. She just stared at her. Sheena ended up dying, and then Colette immediatly flew next to Lloyd, casted an Angel Feathers, and killed the monsters Lloyd/I was fighting. Then Colette flew right next to Lloyd, and stared at Sheena's still dead body.

And the weirder thing was, it was right after that skit point outside of Mizuho. The one that had Sheena saying that if you wanted to learn the villages secret art, you had to marry someone. Lloyd said "OK!", and Sheena blushed because she thought Lloyd was talking about her. Then Lloyd goes "I'll just marry someone in your village!", and Sheena just gets an odd look on her face and calls him insensitive.

...Maybe it was just a coincedence.

ANYWAY. I don't like Regal much. His moves suck, his personality seems like a poor replacement of Kratos', and his storyline is cheesy, so I don't use him much. I don't hate him, he just seems worthless.

As for Zelos... I hardly ever use Zelos. Every once in a while.

I used Colette for a few days of heavy playing while I was trying to collect a bunch of items and whatnot. She's incredibly useful for casting angelic spells (it takes about a minute for Kratos to cast Judgement, but Colette can do it in an instant, it seems o_O), but for most other things, she's not that great. She's pretty fast due to her wings, but I just prefer almost every character over her. xD;

My battles are normally pretty linear. Lloyd and I (Zelos/Kratos) run right into the fray, Raine starts casting something (normally Holy Lance unless we need healing), and then the last person normally uses long range magic or else runs back every so often. They're my item user and it usually ends up being Sheena because I like having her in battle. =o

<3 I found a store that sells TOS figurines on Friday! I bought a Sheena one, since they only had four and I didn't have much money with me. oO; They also had Presea, Genis, and Colette... but Genis and Presea were falling apart in their bags, which was funny. xD (Presea's head was floating around her feet. :O) I'm depressed, though, since they didn't have Kratos or Lloyd. ;_; Or Zelos. I'm gonna go back in a few weeks though... just to see if they have any more in. :D

Okay...I'm on the second disc finally (honestly, it's not hard. I'm just not playing). When do I do the Flanoir thing? MY brother says he didn't do it, so he's not much help. *doesn't want to miss it*

I'm keeping Presea in my party now instead of Sheena (I like Sheena better, but Presea is stronger for me). My brother was begging me to put Genis in. But I hate him so much, so I opted out. (Genis is actually really weak in my game) SO then he suggested Regal, which I hate a lot too (so ugly). So I'm sticking with Zelos. I play as Lloyd, I like using two swords I find all the single sword people are slow in combat (not moving around, actually attacking).

S'only because Zelos and Kratos don't like attacking when they're controlled by the computer. Not on my files, anyway. Fiddle around with their Strategies; it should help. =o

And you can't go through the game without doing the Flanoir scene. <_< He probably didn't even notice it was a big deal. Anyway, you do it directly after you find out the big Kratos spoiler. And you find that out after going around trying to cure Colette's illness, I believe~ o.o;

You probably want to get at least 1000, since most of the good things are around that. :O

To get the scene with Sheena and Corrine, you just have to go back to Iselia anytime after visiting the Tower of Salvation... I think. o_o Or maybe it's the second time you visit the Tower. I can't even remember. X3;

Getting around was annoying, but I didn't find it hard. Sliding puzzles have always been easy for me. ^^

The Forcycstus (can't remember, is that right? o.0) Ranch. Fighting him was ANNOYING. It took me a looooong time to realize you couldn't kill the Exbones until you killed him. I hate Wind Blade now...

x_X I didn't know you could use the Sorcerer's Ring to turn out the stupid lights, so it took me 2 days to get through that temple. Plus, after you assemble all five of the shadows on the bottom floor, it's so annoying walking them down to the shrine. Some will just randomly stop and not follow you while other start walking away... argh.

Ah, Penguinist Quills. I hated those. It took me 30 minutes to find three of them on my first file... and then of course, as soon as I didn't need them anymore, I found them left, right and centre. x_X;;;

As for strategy guides... I used FAQs for stuff like relationships on my second playthrough. I want the actual strategy guide now too so that I can carry around decent references of the game and whatnot wherever I go. :D

o_O I found that forest really, really easy. You just have to follow the racoon thing, or whatever it is. My brother and I call it Kratos because we can easily see Lloyd going all, "OMG! KRATOS TURNED INTO A SMALL FURRY ANIMAL!" And then they'd forget about going to see Kratos at the seal and Kratos would be all "wtf ;__;"

*coughs* Yeah, my brother and I were bored. <___<;

And Zelos' Flanoir scene IS sad because, like, he's always so happy. ;_; And then you find out that he honestly has no reason to be happy but fakes it anyway and you just go "awwww."

I also found that easy XD, The first time I did it, I didnt even follow the Racon, but I noticed that the closer you got to the place where Krato's was waiting, the louder the sound of the water fall got. I only realised the second time that you had to follow the Racoon XD

As for the jewel secret technique thing of doom... my little brother told me about them. I tried a few of them with Lloyd (I did Lightning tiger XD that's all I remember though).

But it's hard to do - I always have Raine, and there's only a few seconds before she heals me. And most times, I can't manage to pull it off between that time.

If you get low on health, try getting 2 Holy Symbols (the things with 3% health regeration at fixed times), equip both of them, and once you get low on HP, jump around and/or avoid the enemies. The HP goes up. They were my friend when I did it.

Was it a Gamecube error screen, or was it the game that showed the error? Because if the Gamecube were to mess up while loading,it would make some sense. They say if you mess with the memory card while loading and stuff, you can lose data. *shrug*

I see Presea's all the time, and I've seen Zelos's a few times. It's just an in-game glitch/programmers or creators having fun. It's okay.

Rofl~~ I've seen some guys cosplaying Sailor Moon. o.o; That's always rather... traumatizing. But I can't help it. <_< I normally hate female characters and if I don't, they're just like normal people so cosplaying them is as easy as putting on jeans and a T-Shirt. Blah. XD;

I got double EXP for my third playthrough. I'm about 25 levels higher than I was every other time right now. XD; *never had to worry about leveling up*

And yes, that's cosplay. :D We have a few anime cons around here, since I live in the biggest city in Canada (<3 anime~) so... yeah. There's a con later in May, but I won't have enough time to cosplay for that one. :<

I'm still leveling up at Palmacosta. I keep getting Lloyd killed (since I'm so agressive I get trapped in between 2 monsters and they pummel me to death), then I have to go to the inn and spend Gald. It sucks. Yah...;;

So, I'm going to power level up and kick all the bosses' puny behinds. Then I'm going to get the 2x EXP Grade purchase after I beat Mithos, then I'll set the bosses on fire, then kickass. XD;

Every boss was easy at the end i had the darkness weapons did anyone care for these weapons and did anyone find abyysion or w/e his name is a bit hard with all the hp and the fact he does 400-4000

o.o Eheh... I went side-questing and everything when all my characters were around level 90, so I was way overlevelled for Abyssion. XD XD I beat him in about 3 minutes, if that.

Anyway, I use the Devil's Arms. Well, I use them for Lloyd and Kratos anyway. o_O Everyone else's hasn't been powered up enough. @_@; I do roughly 2000 damage with Kratos now and he's the only character I control on that file, so I'm good. ~_^;

I suck. My highest Grade in one battle was 10.72. -_- Overall was like... Er... 3700. Ish.

... Sometimes I wonder if my Grade system is busted. At the Fire Seal, Colette fainted about ten times, Genis fainted twice, and Raine (I didn't use Kratos because I stupidly forgot to switch my party), fainted fifteen. I earned 6.71 Grade.

And if you're wondering why I did so bad, it was because I put them on Auto for the first part and... Computer Lloyd is stupid. That's all I'm going to say.

Anyway. When I fought Sheena, nobody faints ONCE, I beat the crap out of her like really quick, and I LOSE 5.90 Grade. WTF is up with that?
