*Cannot get MyBB installation to work*

I got it to work... now, my username and password is messed up. V_V It won't let me proceed unless I tlel it my database username and password, which I use to log on to the FTP all the time, but it's not working. >_>

Have you tried adding index.php or install.php to the URL after "/install/"? If not, maybe you should check if the "resources" directory is there.

Also, it's setup, not finding the url is the problem.

Yes "resources" should be a subfolder in the "install" directory.

The URL for the installation should be: www.yoursite.com/forums/install

Are you sure the database username/pass are the same as your FTP ones? Sometimes the database one is different.

Is scolari your host then? Yeah, talk to your host, they should be able to help ya~

To install a PHP forum you usually have to:

1)Make a mySQL database + Username and password for it.

Did you manually do that?
