The new names came in the Emerald pre-order tin. They most humorous thing in it is that it never mentions that the Battle Pike looks like a Seviper. It just says Serpent-shaped. Go figure.

When I heard it, I was a bit o_O But... if NoA want to screw up names as well as regional translation and features then more power to them XD But, Pike? I always thought a pike was a type of fish XD

Yes Pike is a fish - Esox Lucius. But it also can mean a top of something, a spike, a spear or a sharp end of something (like a tail of lets say Seviper)
