The Mutation Case

[Chiyo]

In the world of around 250 years in the future, there are robots, clones, cyborgs, and many intelligent pokemon living together. And then there is TAPIA, TRAINERS AND POKEMON INTELLINGENCE AGENCY. The organization has spies, detectives, ect. But it appears that in the city of Metrogates, someone appears to be making a sort of mutation potion for pokemon, MOPS, MUTATION OF POKEMON SUBSTANCE. It appears to makethepokemon larger, stronger, more defensive, more healthy, but it makes them listen to only one person, the creator of the potion. So everyone knows that is a bad thing. Your job is to stop this.
Rules:
Guns,knives,daggers, ect are allowed, you could even be hit by one, but just don't make the outcome bloody and try to get hit only once.
Romance is allowed, but no clothes throwing on the floor and no kissing. Hugs and "I love you"s are the limit.
Short posts are not recomended.
Made up pokemon are allowed.
Try to have colorful emotions and not to get all the spelling wrong.
Make sure all of your(not recommended you even use them) swear words are tight up and translated to *'s if you are going to swear.
No senseless stuff, please, for everyones benifit, or you won't get to become the most popular one of the role play.

Gazing at the papers, my boss chatted about something my head could now hear. "What do you think?" He turned to me. "Um...oh,yes, I think that is very good.." I dazily looked at the papers. "YOU ARE GIVING ME THE MOPS MISSION?" I glared at Mr. Heryx. "Why, yes, I already told you." "Uh..sorry, sorry, but boss, this is a dangerous mission, and you are sending me on it?" "Yes, and later we are to hire you partners." "EVEN WORSE! Partners! You mean those stinky fellow spies that know nothing of the word, serious?" "Yes." Mr. Heryx gloomily stared at me. "Well...then okay, but you realize that is double the price, sir." "I realized that. But it took millions to even make you.So good bye, and good luck." I grumbled and stomped away. I hated partners. Partners meant friends. Friends meant annoying talks about where you live, what you do, and what you eat. Perfect information to who may be out the window watching and waiting to destroy you. And there were many other things why I hated partners. But in the meantime, I stomoped through the office and took my spy equipment.

[Alana]

Ruki leaned back in her chair her hands laced behind her head. "So are you ready to hear your asignment?"


"As I'll ever be." She replied.

"Very well. You have been asigned to the Mops Mission. As you are aware.."

"Yeah yeah. As you are aware it is a very dangerous asignment and you will have to use extrme caution." Said Ruki sitting up and stretching. "I don't like the fact that you chose me to go on that mission but if I must I must."

"Very good. Now you will have some partners to help you and you will be given specialy trained Pokemon to aid you."

Ruki scowled. "No thanks. I'll use my own Pokemon."

"Alright then you may, but you cannot get out of having partners."

"Fine." She sighed and stood up. "I guess I might as well go and get ready." She turned to go.

"Wait a moment Ruki."

"Yes?"

"Here." She truned as he tossed a Pokeball at her. "I know you want to use your own Pokemon and you can but take this one anyway."

"What is it?"

"It's a genetically altered Stantler. It has mostly Stantler DNA but it also has some Raikou DNA to help with speed. I know you train speed Pokemon so I thought you might like it."

Ruki smiled. "Thank you sir." She put the Pokeball on her waste and turned to leave.

"And Ruki.."

"Hmmm?"

"Be careful."

"Yes sir." She left.

[Yami's Girl]

I laid back on my couch.
"Emily?"

"Yes, Felix?"

"Are you ready for your next assignment?"

"Of course! I'm so bored."

"Good, you're going on the Mops mission. It's very dangerous."

"So? I can handle it."

"Very well. You will also have to work with some partners."

I growled. "I have to?"

"Yes, you do."

I got up. "Fine. When do I go?"

"I don't know that. I'll telll you when I do though."

I started to walk out the door when Felix stopped me. "Take this Charizard, it may help you."
I took the ball and went out the door.

[Chiyo]

I spun on my office chair. Hmph, I don't have to wait for my partners to come, do I? I can go on this mission on my own. I stopped spinning and took my suitcase and put on my coat. "Hey, Vance!" my robotic friend, Ara-keyomo greeted me. "Hi." "You seem unhappy? What's wrong?" "Hey, even though robots these days are programmed to have emotions and randomly pick out the most appropriate sentence and know one gazilion words, numbers,emotions, and sentences, you would not understand." "Darn, Vance. So do clones with inserted intelligence. I mean, they had brain surgeries on two thousand intelligent people, and you still don't know how to even play holographic games!" "Like you do?" "Umm.." "Hah!" "Man you caught me on that one." "Look." I walked up to Ara-keyomo and grabbed her by the sleeve, "Okay, I'll tell you. I have been assigned on the Mops mission." "Hah! Congrats!" Ara slugged away. "That's not all. I'm gonna get...gonna get...PARTNERS." "Yow. Sorry." Ara sympathetically held my shoulder. "Look, Vance. It's raining outside." "So?" "I need a ride cause my C1243 car was destroyed in the latest mission, and if the water gets to the sensitive parts of my exposed wires, I'll blow." "You still have not had that robo surgery?" "Yeah. so I need a ride." "Okay. But I don't normally do this."
We ran to my carrier and opened the door. "Lets go." I clicked on my X2000 and waited.
PSST.
"Huh?" Ara turned to me.
KABOOM!
I flew out of the flames and hit the wall hard. "Woah, Vance! You alright?" Mr Heryx's assistant grabbed me and flung me up. "That.." I mumbled, "Was my welcome to the MOPS mission." I leaned against the wall, "I saw Ara walk in there with you. What do you think happed to her?" asked me. "Well, time will tell." I slumped down onto the ground, filled with dirt, cuts and aches.

Ruki stepped outside the building. It was raining. She looked up at the sky ignoring the water that got in her eyes. She sighed. Though she never said anything she didn't much like the world she lived in a spy. Well that wasn't entirly true. She loved her Pokemon and the people she worked with. She even loved the city she lived in and the small forest around her. But some times, she just wished she could live a normal life like the trainers back in the days of Ash Ketchem. But she knew that could never happen. In these days there was no life like that. "I wonder what it was like in the days when the famous Pokemon Master ash Ketchem was a trainer. There were no cyborgs, no clones or at least not many, and no genetically altered Pokemon. Except for Mewtwo. He was both clone and genetically altered. I wonder what happened to him. It's strang how he just vanished shortly after he was discovered." She smiled glad that he had vanished. There was no telling what scientists would have done ot him. She looked ahead of her then started walking again. She still had a while before she was supposed to meet her partners so she was going for a walk. She liked the rain and didn't mind getting wet even though her trainers and care takers had always said not to go walking in the rain. "You'll catch your death of cold. Now get back inside." They'd say. But she never listened. Deep in her heart she knew that she loved the people she worked with like her own family. She also knew she loved what she did and everything about it. She sighed again and kept walking thinking about her new asginment.

[Chiyo]

I slumped lifelessly against the wall, looking at the flames battling the rain. I hurt all over, but I felt paralyzed. "I'll call help." Unolica(yes, that was his name) said, raising his watch comunicator. "Hello, Unolica, 78654, TAPIA building entrance, BIG."
"We'll teleport there emmediatly." the firemen said.
BZZ.
The firemen teleported along with a huge bag of water and a hose and began spraying the fire. "You're a lucky kid." A fireman pushed me up. "Thanks." I said to Unolica, and continued limping away to the TAPIA building. I slumped on to the statue of a Blaziken. Rain beaded down my face as I thought of some way I could get home without using anything public. I though for a while, then decided to ask for directions to my large home. I walked up to a girl and asked, "Hello. Do you know where Scifiyumi Lane, 8901 is?"

OOC: I'm asking you Alana.

[Alana]

Ruki looked at the boy who had spoken. He looked a little dazed. "Yes. It's not too far off. Go that way for about three blocks then turn left..." She gave him the rest of the directions then smiled and turned to leave. The thought of her mission was still on her mind and she didn't feel much like talking. She sighed and muttered quietly, "Who came up with the MOPS mission anyways?" She shrugged and moved on wondering what was in store for her.

[Yami's Girl]

I downstairs and stood in front of the door. It was raining. A bit hard too. Great day for me not to bring an umbrella. I thought. I sighed and walked out the door. The pelting rain stung my skin. I looked to an alleyway. A boy was asking a girl something. "Mabye I shouldn't have taken this mission," I muttered. I started walking. Then something tripped me. I fell over, but, luckily not landing on my face.

I turned quickly. Come out, come out, wherever you are. Then a small black figure emerged from the shadows. It charged. But I was too quick, I jumped above it. "Go, Hydro!" My Vaporeon emerged from her ball. "Transform to a Gyrados!" I shouted,landing. Hydro's shape changed. Her body became fat and legless, her tail widened and looked like a fin, and her face changed to add two whiskers. "Thrash!" I ordered. Quick as Hydro was, the figure dodged and tackled into Hydro. Although I thought that was stupid, Hydro was sent backwards, and the figure started slashing away. I recalled her.
The figure looked up, and I actually saw him smile. "Your turn," He said, lunging at me.
I tried to move out of the way but wasn't fast enough. He landed on my back and started to scratch wildy. "Get OFF!" I shouted. Taking his arms and flinging him towards the wall. Surprisingly his nails were sharp and my back was bleeding. He got back up and headbutted me. I fell from the inpack. "This won't get you anywhere on you mission," He said. Then he disappeared into the shadows.
"That must have been my welcome to my new mission," I muttered.

[Chiyo]

I turned to see someone getting assaulted by some punk. "Um, thanks." I said to the girl.
Beep!
"Yes?" I raised my communicator. "Hello Vance. Why are you filled with cuts and dirt?"
"Mr. Heryx, I was going into my X2000 with Ara-keyomo and it blew up."
"Oh, dear. Sorry. I just wanted to tell you that I registered your partners."
I made a crude sound and continued listening.
"Who are they?"
"The first one name is..."
"Tell me later." I slapped the communicator off my wrist and put it in my pocket.

[Alana]

Ruki heard some one talking to the boy and something about partners. She would have asked him about it but when she turned she saw some one being attacked. She grabbed a Pokeball from her waste and hurried forward. She didn't release her Pokemon then. Instead she waited until she really needed her.

[Chiyo]

I knew it was mean, but I turned my back on the girl who was attacked. I ran into the TAPIA building and ran to Mr. Heryx's office. "Mr. Heryx?" I opened the door. Nothing. I entered and shut the door. I looked around the room. A gloomy light was coming in through the window. Nothing else.

[Yami's Girl]

I was lying on the ground covered in scratches and cuts. "Ouch..." I muttered. My communicator rang. I flipped it's cover. "Yeah?" I said. It was Mr. Heryx. "I got info on your partners. They're-" "Tell me when I get there"
I turned it off and walked into the building. Just outside Heryx's office a boy stood. I'd seen him before. "Hi," I said. "Have I seen you before?"

[Alana]

Seeing that the girl was alright, Ruki put the Pokeball back on her belt na dstarted walking again. her Pokegear rang. She picked it up. "Yeah."

"Ruki I have a list of your partners. Would you like me to read it to you?"

"No just tell m where and when to meet them."

"Alright. They should currently be outside Mr' Heryx's offie."

"Alright then. Later." She clicked off her Pokegear and turned around. It didn't tak long ot reach Mr. Heryx's office. Once there she found the boy and girl from earlier. She sighed and shrugged. Well she had suspected the boy but maybe not the girl. It didn't really matter anyway. She was stuck with them so there was no point in even thinking of sulking. "Hello." She said smiling at them.

[Chiyo]

"Heeeeeeeeeelllo." I scowled. There they were. My partners. Darn! Why'd I even take this super dangerous case anyway? I wondered and looked at the two. "So, what are your names anyway?" I asked, while doing a random look-see through the room.

[Alana]

"Ruki." Replied Ruki simply. She smiled and held out her hand. She could tell that the boy didn't want partners any more than she did but neither of them had a choice. She wondered how the other girl felt. "So we're all asigned to the MOPS Mission huh? Well I guess that measn we'd better start getting along. No point in sulking about it." She smiled again.

I raised the communicator and answered, "Hello? Whoever it is, shut up and goodbye." "Vance..?" "AAGH! Mr. Heryx! I'm sorry." "Well Vance that is alright, because I'll have to be sorry for you." "Whaaat?" "Well, it is time for your memory update, and now that you have so much intelligence, I'm afraid there is a fifty-fifty chance of all your memory exploding." "Unnnh, do I look a little feverish to you?" "Good one, Vance, but you're not getting away without a memory update. Meet me at the TAPIA dugeon." "Aww.. but Heryx, I hate that place! It's so filled with screams and sour faces that you could forget it is a good place." "Well, it's just five little minutes, so you won't have that much trouble." "Alright." I shut the communicator, "You guys want to come along? It's rather quick."

Ruki's eye brows were raised. "I guess your a clone then." She shrugged. "That's alright. Sure I'll come along. It might be fun." She shrugged again as though she doubted it but she didn't intend to just stand here and do nothing while one of her new team mates was at risk of having his brain blown up.

[Dream Illusionist]

The rain intensified outside. Lillia was stuck at home, with nothing to do...
"Great! Now we're never going to play outside...
"Pi? Pichu!"
"What is it, Pika?
A news bulletin had appeared:
"The MOPS mission is starting tonight, some members were chosen, and it is said that one of them is a clone...
Lillia shut down the TV...
"What!! A Clone is assigned to that mission?! Maybe he just wants the potion to develop it even more! Come on guys, we've got work to do!"
Said Lillia while dressing a cape.

[Chiyo]

I dragged my body down to the intelligence dungeon. Why do I hate this place anyway? I thought impatiently. After making my way through the stairway, I slushed my way to the IIR, where I awaited the two minutes of doom. "Sit down." A calm, collected robotic voice invited warmly, and even though it was comforting, I was still mumbling words of unhappyness. But nevertheless, I sat down on the chair and inserted the suckers into my ears, then patiently waited. "Now, other visiters, be aware that if the clone screams, it will be for his or her own good." the robotic voice assured.
"AAAAAAIIIIIIIIGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I squiggled in the chair.
"Please, Executive Vance, be aware that if your sqeal gets too loud, it will summon the whole of TAPIA." The robotic voice appeared to be trying to add a slapstick to the scene. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" "You are surely ignoring the fact that everything is perfectly alright.."

...
After one minute of my continuous yelling, the machine stopped. "Unhhhh.. that was more painful than ever." I moaned. "See? everything is alright.."

Shadow heard some screams from a building.
"That must be th TAPIA base.....
Maybe that's the clone?"-muttered Shadow.
"Marsh! Marsh!"- replied Aqua.
"Time for us to destroy another clone, Aqua!"

Kim waited for a call from her mentor she thinks agenst the sad truth that she had been geneticly altered and her trainer left her 'RIIING' she jumped down from the celing which she was hanging to answer her cell phone "Kim your partners are comming your way be prepaired"
"Fine i'll be on my gaurd"

[Alana]

*sweat bead* "Yeah............ok. I'm glad I'm not a clone. That sounded really painful." Said Ruki shivering slightly. "And that screaming didn't help." It was now that Ruki was truely glad to have been born not created and that she had learned everything she knew rather than have it inserted. She wondered if clones were killed during the process. She hoped not.

[Dream Illusionist]

Shadow entered the building. She ran through the corridors and while avoiding the cameras. She stumbled on a room, which had persons in there talking abou the mission and clones. She decided to hide, and listen to the conversation.

[NiNGi's Worst Nightmare]

"Hey, Steelix, do you think I can do that Mega Man blaster-arm thing?" The Steelix nodded as Silver stuck out his arm and thought about the change. A second later, his arm was transforming into a cylinder-shaped blaster. <Cool!>
Silver would have fired it if his cell phone hadn't started to ring. "Hello?" Silver heard a deep breathing, followed by an even deeper voice. "C1-14D model L1N6, you are needed again. This time, you need to steal Rayquaza's Emerald, located in the Slateport Museum."
Silver sighed and thought about a plan. "I'll do it as long as you never call me Chadling again!"

[Chiyo]

I slithered happily out of the seat and jumped to my feet. "Yeah... um, well, it's over.."
RRRING! I raised my communicator,
"Heryx?" "Hello, Vance, I just got some info about what happened to Ara-Keyomo."
"Did she survive the X2000 incedent? Do you know who blew it up? Is the fire dosed?" I anxiously clutched the communicator. "Well, she flew out and landed on the roof of a woman's house. The lady is in her sixties and has a robotic leg, and she is known as Mrs. Freggor." "Well?" "The woman appeared to be sleeping, and Ara hit the roof hard and her arm was destroyed, leaving the rain to finish off the rest." "What else?" "You will have to ask the lady. Anyway, the firemen are nearly done with dozing the fire, and some robotic spies with fireproof metal are already taking a look inside, and have not found anything exept two non-matching gloves and a soccer shoe. Does that mean anything to you?" "When you're done with dozing the fire, teleport the crippled remains to the front of my house. I'll take a look when I get there." "Alright. Bye." Beep. I shut the communicator and turned towards the two. "Well, I'm the executive of TAPIA. Want to take a trip to my house? We'll have to see what's it the remains of the X2000 for any clues and then take a trip to a lady named Mrs. Freggor. Then we'll have to continue the case."

[Alana]

Ruki nodded. "Sure we can go and check it out. I guess that was the explosion I heard earlier. Is this ladies house far from here?" She looked at her Pokegear. "I think we were suposed to begin the MOPS mission already. At least that's what Malin said." She shrugged.

[Dream Illusionist]

Shadow snuck in without anyone noticing,
"I wonder which of them is the clone? I don't want to kill humans..."
"Marsh?"
"Quiet Aqua!"
It was too late, the persons inside noticed her.

[Alana]

Ruki turned curiously. "Who's that? Is that one of the people that work here? They look like they're sneeking around." She smiled and walked over to them. "Hey nice Pokemon." She said looking at the Marshtomp.

[Dream Illusionist]

OOC: Uh, she uses a long cape, so no-one knows she's a girl, okay?

IC: "Sorry, but I have no time to chit-chat. I have a mission to do. Which of you are clones?"-Asked Shadow.

[Alana]

OOC: Ok

"Uh, why does that matter?" Asked Ruki confused. She wondered why this person carred. There was something about his/her tone that Ruki didn't like.

[Dream Illusionist]

IC:"I'll ask again: Which of you are clones? I must make haste, and I definitly
don't want to assassinate the wrong person..."-She said, quite calmly

OOC: Could I be like in the news and you guys know about me now that I said this? Thanks

[Alana]

Ruki's eyes narrowed and she stepped back a Pokeball in her hand. "I know you." SHe muttered. "You're that Shadow character. The clone assasin." She opened her Pokeball in a quick movement and a Pikachu with light blue eyes appeared. Sparks flew from it's cheeks as it faced Shadow with narrowed eyes.

[Dream Illusionist]

"I don't want to fight, but I will if I'm forced to. Just tell me here who's clone and everything will be OK..."
"Marsh!"-Aqua said whil covering the place with mud.

[Alana]

Ruki's Pikachu didn't so much as blink. I am not foolish enough to give you that information. Sky you ready?"

"Chu."

"OK Psychic attack!" Sky began to glow bright blue then she sent a blast of energy at Marshtomp and Shadow. The blue glow remained and Sky didn't seem the least bit drained.

[Dream Illusionist]

"grr..."-mumbled Shadow

"Marsh...tomp!"- shoted Marshtomp while slamming Sky. When Sky was in the air, Marshtomp shot mud (Mud Shot) at it, gluing sky to the wall.
"You didn't have to be so mean to him, Aqua!"- Said Shadow-"Sorry about that... He gets carried away quickly..."
"Marsh..."-Said Aqua, like apologising.

[Alana]

"Don't worry about her." Siad Ruki sharply. "But it wasn't wise to lower your gaurd. Sky Teleport!" There was a blast of light and Sky vanished. She reappeared a few seconds later behind Marshtomp glowly more brightly. "Never turn your back on a Psychic Pokemon." Said Ruki shaking her head and grinning. Sky grabbed Marshtomp and Teleported again. She reappeared again in the air and let go hovering in mid air. She cuaght Marshtomp before it got far through the air. "Recall your Pokemon. I don't want to hurt it and neither does Sky." The Psychic Pikachu nodded.

"Sorry, but both of us know to never give up on our mission. Aqua, Seismic Toss!"
Aqua then, while sky was grabbing him, started spinning like crazy, and finally slamming Sky unto the floor. Then, Aqua started tackling Sky.
"Sorry, but this time, you should be the one to recall your Pokémon."

[Alana]

"Can't do that." Said Ruki giving Sky a quick glance. Again Sky Teleported and appeared in the air again. She was bruised and cut but she closed her eyes and started to use Recover. "Sky and I never give up. We're mentally linked so we can sense eachothers emotions. If Sky feels like giving up then I will recall her. But she never does. It would be a real blow to her pride as a Pokemon." She shrugged and watched her Pokemon healing herself.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Oh no you won't!"-said Shadow letting a little hair out (being able to notice that Shadow's a she)
Aqua then Pursuited Sky, hitting him when healing, and then started Faint Attacking him
"Aqua and I learned a lot of things, even moves that he couldn't normally move, without ever giving him anything odd like potions or cloning"

[Alana]

"It's not my fault SKy was forced to go through experiments and had other POkemon DNA pumped into her system." Said Ruki glancing at Sky again nad yet again Sky Teleported this time high enough to touch the ceiling. "Sky Recover again. But this time use Agility at the same time." Sky nodded but looked unsure. It wasn't the easiest move to pull off. Ruki gave her an encouraging smile and she began to glow bright blue again. Then she vanished and reappeared further away. She glowed again and vanished again. Ruki nodded then her Pokegear rang. She scowled and turned it off. She didn't feel like talking to Malin.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Well, not bad but... Aqua, Foresight!"
Aqua then looked carefully at Sky's movements and when about to reach one place, Aqua used Take Down on Sky
"Aqua, how many times did I say to you to not use that move! You get hurt!"
But Aqua didn't listen, he was angry hecouldn't defeat that Pikachu.

[Alana]

sky and Ruki grinned in unisan. "Bad move. Sky you know what to do." Sky nodded and launched herself at Aqua meeting her head on. "Now add Double Team. I know you're low on strength but you can do it." Sky nodded. Ruki felt a strain at her mind but she was confedent in Sky. Sky split into three different Pikachu's nad continued it's attack.

Aqua then was furious.
"Aqua, don't use that move!"
But it was too late. Aqua started a whirlwind around him making Sky crash unto the wall.
Marshtomp was tired, but he had did it.(He couldn't do Whirlwind)

[Alana]

Ruki felt a sharp pain sere through her body and a great weakness but she ignored it as Sky was doing. But she knew that Sky had very little strength left. "Sky, use Hypnosis!" Sky nodded and glared at Marshtomp. With the last of it's strength it glowed bright and used Hypnosis.

[Dream Illusionist]

Then it was Shadow's turn to act: She started playing her PokéFlute, not letting Aqua fall asleep, and then Aqua finished this battle with a Pursuit.

He was really happy. He finnaly had won.

OOC: Could you guys notice now she was a girl due to the hair falling off from her cape?

[Alana]

OOC: Yeah.

Ruki scowled. "Alright I can play that way." She reached into her pack and pulled out a small sphere with a heath cross on it. She through it into the air and it landed on Sky. A bright yellow powder filled the air around her and when it cleared she was on her feet again. "Sky you've done a great job but hypnosis won't work right now. Plus you're still weak and I don't want you to get hurt."

I won't get hurt! That revive worked fine. I have half my strength back. I want to finish this battle!

"I know you can win Sky. But look. That Pokemon hasn't the strength to fight back. Maybe they'll attack a Pokemon when it's down but we won't.

Sky remained silent looking from it's trainer ot the tired Marshtomp. Ruki knew she really wanted ot finish off Marshtomp.

I can't quit. But if they give up. I won't attack.

You know they won't.

Then I'll attack.

Ruki sighed. "Fine. Shadow return your Pokemon. If you don't I can't garantee your Pokemon's safety. Sky may not be at full strength but she has enough to do damage. I cannot control her when she insists on winning."

OOC: Neither of us seem to want ot lose do we? Oh and the italazized words are thoughts. Since Sky's Psychic she is telapathic.

[Chiyo]

I stepped forward and eyed the two. "Look, Ruki, that was a good move, as if Sky kept on attacking and the Marshtomp did the same, we wouldn't get anywhere, would we?" I frowned and looked around the room. Then I thought: Well, it's my job to stop trouble around and stop these darn clone assassins, so... "I'm that clone you're looking for. "

[Dream Illusionist]

"I see. Then sorry, but it's my mission to kill you."-said Shadow, still cold as ever.
But then the alarm started ringing, and she could hear securities coming.
"No, we took much time. I'll leave now, but I'll be back!"
She and Aqua then jumped off of the window and ran until they were out of site. Then, she returned home.

[Alana]

Once she was gone Ruki smacked Vance in the back of the head. "Now she's going to come after you. And that's what we don't need. An assasin on our heels trying to kill one of our team." She scowled at him as she returned Sky to her Pokeball. "I have to head to the Pokemon Center to heal Sky fully. That revive only restored some of her health. I'll see you later." She turned and walked off.

Lillia then returned home to a terrific scene.

Pika was ill, and there was no Pokécenter in the surrounding areas, and she didn't know the location of one.

She then started doing everything she could to help Pika, and when he fell asleep, she went outside, sat under a tree (the sun was now rising) and started crying.

[Alana]

Ruki reached the Pokemon Center and handed her Pokeballs to Nurse Joy. About five minutes later Nurse Joy returned her Pokeballs and Ruki left. SHe wandered the streets alone thinking. "The MOPS mission. I know it's dangerous but I'm not worried. I guess that's to be expected since I've been on dangerous missions before." She muttered to herself. "I guess I'm most curious about that girl, Shadow. Why does she hate clones os much. I can't understand it. It's not the clones fault they're clones."

[Dream Illusionist]

She then calmed down.
"Courage Lillia! You kill clones and can't handle this?"
She then ran asking people about Pokécenters, but no-one knew.
She then, thinking there was no hope, sat under the tree, and fell asleep

[Alana]

Ruki sighed and looked up at the cloudy sky. "I wonder if....this is really what I'm supposed to be doing. Mother always wanted me to be a doctor and dad always wanted me to be a researcher. But I didn't listen to them and became a spy." She grinned. "Well i guess now I get to do both. Heal when need be and I get research new Pokemon and new abilities nad all. So I guess it's not that bad is it?" She smiled and kept walking heading back to Vance and the others.

[Chiyo]

I cringed slightly and walked outside. Questions like Why do I exist? Kept on popping into my head. To bring glory and peace to this world. The answer had tingled easily in my head. "Gee. Ruki sure slaps hard." I felt the back of my neck and slunk my hand down into my pockets, while looking at the cold, cloudy sky.

[Alana]

Ruki stopped walking when she spotted Vance. She sighed then smiled and walked over. "We should hurry up and get to that ladies house so we can begin our mission. Sorry about hitting you earlier. I just got mad is all." She shoved her hands into her pocket and smiled appologetically. "So shall we get going?"

She saw a little far off from her position the clone and the girl she battled yesterday. She saw this as an opportunity both to save Pika, and to kill the clone.
She knew it would be difficult, but she had to try.

OOC: I've gotta leave, too. Exams are coming up and between having a life and doing school work, I can't get on the computer as much.

I shrugged and looked around. "Sure." I stuffed my hands in my pockets and looked at a paper, which said, 'Mrs. Freggor's house is Jilutei street, 5342867.' "Where did I get that?" I whispered to myself. "Umm...I think her house is...urrr...Jilutei street, 5342867..." I could imagine a huge question mark form over my head as I glared at the strange paper with the address on it. "Well, I think I know where that is.." I crowed with a dry mouth.

[Alana]

"Good. I might but I don't think so. So you can lead the way ok?" Said Ruki grinning at his indesition. "We should hurry. I'm impationt to get started on the MOPS mission. PLus I can't wait to meet my new Pokemon."

[Chiyo]

I walked along to Jilutei street, dragging my feet as I went.
After a little walk, I came in front of an old house. "Here we are." I hissed, slowly making my way up to the old fasioned house. Knock knock. I knocked on the door. The place was definitely creepy to me.

She then ran over to where they were going, and then crawled int an alley, and put on her trusty cape and cloak.
Shadow the followed them, until she heard them talking about a new pokémon. She was curious, but this wasn't the time for that. Pika was in danger. She then jumped on the floor and grabbed a knife. She put the knife right to Vance's neck and shouted to Riku.
"Tell me where's a Pokémon Center this instant or this clone will die now! One small move towards a Pokéball, and he WILL die!"

[Alana]

Ruki blinked in surprise. She hadn't been paying attention adn had been caught off gaurd. Aparently it was the same for everyone else. She hoped it never happened again. She regained her composure and shrugged. "You are a clone assasin yet you threaten rather than act." She said her voice lacking any emotion. "Kind of sad really but I won't push you. I assume you have a good reason for the threat. But I'll say one thing, I will not tell you where the Pokemon Center is until that knife has left my companians neck."

[Dream Illusionist]

"You're in no position of asking anything! Now tell me where is one, and fastly!!"
She started sweating.

[Alana]

Ruki simply shook her head. "Give me a good reason. I'm not worried. If you kill him you have no weapon. They're be no way for you to get any information out of me or anyone else if he dies. I think you know that. So tell me why you care so much. Ih but do remove the knife if you please." Nothing gave away the fact that Ruki was scared. She only stalled knowing that the girl might kill Vance after she got the info she wanted.

[Dream Illusionist]

"No, I'm not removing my knife, but I promise, and you can trust me, that if you give away the info, I will not kill him now."- said Shadow

[Alana]

"Very well." Said Ruki shrugging. "Remove your knife and I will lead you to the Pokemon Center. I haven't time for this. So let's go." She watched Shadow. Her hand was near her Pokeball and she had been trained to act quickly in times of need. If she had to she would now.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Okay, Shadow replied, but just a small move towards the pokéball, and he dies!"-she shouted, the, she took a little distance between the knife and the neck.

[Alana]

"This way." Said Ruki backing up with her hands in her pockets. She fiddled with Stantler's Pokebal but left it alone. She would need Statnler and ddin't want to give it away. I guess I should thank the Prof. She thought.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Wait!"-said Shadow. "He comes too, just to make sure."
She then pushed Vance to the middle of the litle group.

[Alana]

"What ever." Said Ruki shrugging. She turned keeping her eyes on Shadow. "Come on." She started walking unconceredly.

Shadow followed, still with the knife in her hand. She wasn't sure if this was a trap. She had to be careful. Pika was in danger, and there was no time for failures.

[Alana]

Ruki walked for about an hour keeping one eyes on the road ahead and the other on Shadow. "There." She said pointing at the Pokemon Center. "Go on. We have things to do." She turned and started to head back stopping to wait for Vance.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Okay. You kept your word, I'll keep mine. I'll be seeing you soon..."
She then ran off, to her home. She quickly took off the cape, grabbed Pika, and went to the Pokécenter the fastest she could.
"Don't worry, he'll be fine! We'll take care of your Pichu."-replied Nurse Joy.
She then took off to the emergency room.

I merely glared at Ruki, not exactly happy anymore. "Sometimes I wish that the one next to me wasn't a hero." I hissed, trying to make my words deep enough to be hard to understand. I walked, again, down the street to Mrs. Freggors house. An old lady was at the door. "Hello, young man, what brings you here? Are you with TAPIA?" "Yes, and you must be Mrs. Freggor." "I am, indeed. Please come in, I prepared tea for you." "Um, no thank you, I came to take my friend, who fell onto you roof after an explosion. And apperantly, she's dead." "Oh, dear! I wondered why, when I was told TApia agents were coming, but a dead person on my roof?" "It's terribly true. Now, can I borrow a ladder?" "No, dears, why don't you have tea, first?" Flashing the old lady a suspicious glance, I finally gave in. "Oh, alright."

Bolt Stood in a large near by tree near the pokemon center and he smirked putting a dark black walkie talkie up to mouth and he talked into it saying"Heh,I've got them in my sight Attacking is approxamentenly(Sp?...)10 minutes...Roger.."The static clicked over into the Walkie talkie and Blot stood there with his arms crossed with a straight yet mean face put on watching them.He then said to himself"Tch...Becoming a Cyborg for Raijutsu Bounty hunter studio wasnt such a bad idea...but yet again i have to hunt down inocent people,pokemon...Gah i cant let that get into my system!...i must focus on the mission..".Bolt continued to stand there waiting for his captains orders or commands..

Lillia just wouldn't stop walking in circles in front of the emergency room.
Aqua and Chi tried to calm her down, but no effect.
They were all too worried...
Suddenly, the operation sign turned off.
They all ran to the front of the emergencies' doors, and Nurse Joy came out.
"Dont worry! The operation went just fine!"
They all were relieved. They tried to enter the room, but Nurse Joy didn't let them.
"He's still recovering. Let him sleep now."
"Okay. I hope you recover all right, Pika."- said Lillia, while looking through the door.

Ruki raised her eyeborws. She hesitated then walked into the houe after Vance. "I wasn't trying ot be a hero just trying to keep you alive." She muttered to him in a slightly annoyed voice. "What would you have done if she had had a knife to my throat. Oh maybe I don't want to know." She added grining slightly.

"Now!"Bolt Yelled out from the trees,he then jumped out from the tree into the air and he yelled out"Thunder Punch!",Bolt gatherd electricity into his right fist and came crashing down with the Electric fist aiming for the closet pokemorph hoping to hurt at least one of them.

OOC: Alana and I are at a lady's house, Sylph is at the pokemon center, and the new guy is outside the pokemon center.

IC: I glared at Ruki.
"TAPIA discipline? Hello? Page 347, 'How To Stop A Murderer'? Have you even read the REQUIRED book?" Mrs. Freggor looked at me bewilderedly. "Um, now, young ones, if you are going to argue, do it outside." "Ummm, no! I'm not argueing!" I put an innocent look on my face and looked around at the spooky house.

Quickly, when they arrived home, Lillia had a change of costume.

Then Shadow leaped through the roofs, in search of the clone's location.
He was nowhere to be seen
"Dang it... I can't find him... Well, Aqua, let's return to the street they were before."
"Marsh! Marsh!"-he replied.

[Alana]

Ruki didn't alter her expression. She simply kept it netural and shook her head slightly as if saying Vance was overreacting a bit. "So uh nice place miss." She said in a polite voice. It was a very weird place but there was no point in hurting the old woman's feelings.

Shaow started walking on the street where she found them, and started looking through the windows. After 8 windows looked, she finnaly found them, but there was an old lady with them.
"Dang! I can't do anything, while that lady's seeing them... Wait! I have an idea!"
"Marsh?"-Aqua replied.
Shadow then called Chimecho, and ordered him, to use Hypnosis into the house.
Everyone then fell asleep, and she dragged Vance to a empty house nearby. Now, the hypnosis effect was starting to take off.

Ruki woke suddenly. She jumped up and looked around. "Vance is gone. I should have known. I help you, you go away, then come back ten minutes later." She headed for the door. "Later lady." She called then dashed out to search for Vance.

[Chiyo]

After my quick doze, I woke up and profusely stuffed up the truth that I had just been dragged away. It's that Shadow girl.. My head announced, and I knew exactly what to do. While Shadow wasn't looking I licked my lips slightly, and made my hand reach for my pokeball. All so suddenly, a little instict in me yelled, "Go, Lombre!"

"uh? Oh... you woke up, and you want your pokémon, to do the dirty work, huh?
Fine, let's battle!"-she shouted.
Aqua, came in front. this as his battle.
He started Mud Shotting the Lombre.

[Chiyo]

I could just barely keep my cool. I mean, everything is alright, and suddenly, I'm battling a murderer, just like that?! YEESH! But in real life, all I could do is yell, "Lombre, tackle!"

I felt something dramatic surge in me. What was I so furious about? Lombre? Myself? Ruki? My case? But nevertheless, I quietly groaned and said, "Lombre, return.." I sighed and glared at Shadow in defeat, but then some words blew into my head, You've got work to do! "Okay, you win.." My gloomy face turned into a grin, "But that doesn't mean I'll let you murder me!" I made a playful lunge toward the exit of the abandoned house.

The entrance was locked. She then showexd the key.
"Is this what you are looking for?"-she said, hanging the key on her fingers-"You are not escaping."

"Oops.." I frowned. I was quite sure by now that this was big trouble. But nah, if I survived huge explosions and even an intelligence update, I was gonna survive this.
"So I'm not. But I'm pretty sure that neither of us are going to leave if that's it." I reached into my pocket for my communicator. My first idea was for Ara-Keyomo, but she was dead. She died this morning. I couldn't think of anyone else, so I didn't call anyone. But I was dead meat if Shadow didn't know that. And if I said so, I was deader meat because obviously she wouldn't believe it. I calculated in my head, if I ran to snatch the keys, she would turn around at the time of.. After doing some quick thinking, I realized I could only do one thing without getting too risky. TAPIA was illegally made. This was an abandoned house. My only escape depended on how strong and heavy I was. But, this was going to surely be easy. And it was. I walked over to Shadow's direction, the turned around quickly, and ran, my hand thrust out before me, and..
CRASSSSSSSSSSSSSHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
That was one new court case on me, vandalism. I just realized what I did. I crashed through the door! I blinked. "Guess the wood was rotten." I uttered, getting to my feet.

"arghh! Aqua, after him!"-she said, running i the direction of the door. Aqua then, observing her, Water Gunned him, making him fell into the ground.
"This is your end!"-she said holding a knife.
She was completely determined, but then she heard the sound of the police force entering the building.
"dang! I'll get you next time!"-she said, and then jumped through the window.

[Alana]

Ruki sped up. A crash from nearby had caught her attention. She arrived in time to see Shadow takeing off. "Hey Vance you ok?" She asked hurrying over. She offered her hand to pull him up. "Guess you got away."

[Chiyo]

I didn't take Ruki's offering hand. It was too unsafe to trust anyone, and she was simply a new friend.. Even if she had saved my life twice, I couldn't trust her simply on the first day. Nope, I wondered when 'Shadow-head' would evr strike again, or if she would see the light and realize I'm an executive in TAPIA. "My Lombre will go to the Pokemon center when I pick up Ara-keyomo's body. Our boss assigned me to take a detour from my mission to do just that, and that Shadow girl keeps messing my time up." I spat. For the third time, I walked down Jilutei Street and knocked on the door of Mrs. Freggor. "Hello?" The door creaked open. "Mrs. Freggor, may I borrow a ladder so I could get my dead friend on your roof?" I replied simply. This MOPS was going to be very hard if I was off-duty..

[Alana]

"We need to get this little side quest over with." Ruki was rather iritated. "We've been asigned to the MOPS mission and we should get on it. Get your friend and let's get out of here." She knew she might sound harsh but she was annoyed.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Dang it... that police! It always arrives at a wrong time!"
"Marsh....Marsh marshtomp marsh!"- Aqua said trying to cheer her up.
"Yeah, you're right. I won't fail next time. Just you wait, Vance, I'm gonna get you!"-she shouted.
Suddenly, the police appeared again, and she ran away again, trying to hide.

I sighed as I reached over the roof. After feeling the roof, I struck a hand. Ara's hand. Gently tugging it, I pulled down my friend. "May I borrow a blanket?" I felt absolutely sick when Freggor handed me a blanket. Wrapping Ara in it, I slunk the blanket over my shoulder. "Hope the blanket's not too valuable, 'cause I can't guarantee a return.."I uttered as I walked down the steps of the front porch.

[Alana]

Ruki watched Vance sadly. "I'm sorry." She said hurrying to walk next to him. "It's not the best introduction to the mission is it?" She said kindly.

[Dream Illusionist]

She saw the scene from a nearby roof. A thoght came to her mind.
"Maybe he's not so bad...."
She quickly snapped out of it.
"No. All clones are artificial, they are evil creations! I must destroy all of them. This one won't be an exception!"-she said.
"Marsh..."-Aqua muttered, worrying about her.

[Chiyo]

I sighed. "Thanks. Guess this isn't a good intro. Boy, I don't know what I'll do even carrying Ara in a blanket alive. Whoever planted that bomb, I know has something to do with the mission we're on. We'll check it out at my house later, because the remains of my teleportion vehicle are there. We'll check it out for clues." I wondered secretly why I was acting so calm, but shrugging off my emotions was usually a main thing in TAPIA.

[Alana]

"I agree it probably has something to do with the MOPS mission. So where are we headed now? And what are you going to do with Ara? You can't just carry her over your shoulder everywhere." Said Ruki slightly adjitated. She wasn't sure why but she had a feeling something bad was heading their way, again.

[Chiyo]

"I know that." I growled. "Fortunately, my house isn't far. So I guess.." My voice trailed off. "Let's just get over to my house."

[Alana]

"Alright." Replied Ruki in a toneless voice. Her facial expression changed to be void of emotion. She did this when she wanted to think or when she wanted to keep her enemies from knowing how she felt about something. Right now she simply decided it wouldbe best to neglect emotion for a while.

[Chiyo]

I made a poisonous glare at Ruki just to take off a little fury, and started walking towards Scifiyumi Lane, where my house was. After a few minutes, I arrived at my house, a heavily guarded mansion, which looked like something from a horror movie. In it's gigantic yard was a pile of ashes, with a bit of metal and burnt junk in it, supposingly my vehicle.
"You." An electronic voice at the gate examined me,"Voice sample please." "Vance."
"Thank you. Please enter."

[Alana]

Ruki ignored Vance's glare and followed him inside. "Nice place." She said tonelessly. She looked around the slightly creepy mansion half curiously and half out of boredom. She really wanted to get started on the MOPS mission. She did not really want to do it at all but she had no choice so the sooner she started the sooner it would be over.

[Chiyo]

I sighed heavily and entered the unhomely mansion. It was a boring place, and I barely entered it. I usually fell asleep from signing papers or a tiring mission at my desk at the main TAPIA building. Putting Ara onto my dusty couch, I smiled at Ruki difficultly and said, "Uh, drinks? If you don't mind, they may be way past expiry date, but I always have a full refridgerator.." I tried to look casual as I went to turn on the lights, but I felt distracted and stumbled. TAPIA had given this mansion to me even if I didn't want it, and they had also given me the furniture inside of the mansion, and they made sure my house was close to the TAPIA main building, and they made sure I didn't have too much to handle in life other than TAPIA missions, and they succeeded. Not that a life devoted to TAPIA was that bad, I thought as I turned the switch to the lights. Spparrkk..
Slightly thinking it may be another explosion, my head looked up at the light. It was moldy and dusted over by a severe attack by dustbunnies. "No wonder the light isn't working...look at all the dust!" I was sure this wasn't a good impression, but this house really did need some work on.

[Alana]

"Sure a drink would be nice." Said Ruki casually. She walked around the living room for a minute then entered the kitchen after Vance. Her eyes caught on the dying light and she smiled. "Well at least you have a decent place. I live in a small house on the other side of town but TAPIA says I will be moved clser to headquarters when they get hold of a place. Though I do hope it'll be a bit smaller. This place is nice but so big it's probably hard to take care of."

[Chiyo]

"Hard to take care of, huh? Well, I barely go here. My desk is more than home than here is." As I opened the refridgerator, a gust of dust came out. Coughing slightly, I reached out for some water. "Uh, here." I handed the bottle to Ruki.

OOC: Sorry, off for the weekend.

IC: She closed in on the building where Vance and Ruki entered.
"Nice place he's got here!"-She said, amazed with the enormous size of the house.
"Maaaarsh!"-Aqua seemed amazed, too
She looked around, and saw loads of cameras everywhere.
"I guess we'll have to act normally..."
"Voice sample please."
"Oh no! This thing has a voice sampler... This'll make things harder now..."
"Marsh!"-shouted Aqua, launching a large Hydro Pump to the electronic device.
"Aqua no!......,."-She shouted, too late. It made quite a large explosion.
"See what you've done! Nevermind, let's go inside."-she said running really fast inside.

"So what's your family like?" I asked, trying to wipe away the glint of sadness and spite in my eyes. I was spiteful for the fact that Ruki even had a family. And I was sad for the fact that my only long time friend, Ara, was gone. Before I could say anything else to Ruki, I heard the booming security settings, "INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!!" Smiling, I replied to the warnings by saying, "Must be a dustball." Shutting off the alarm, I waited patiently for a reply from Ruki.

[Alana]

"Hmm." Said Ruki taking the water. She thought for a moment then shrugged. "Well I'm not really sure. My family vanished when I was a kid. I remember having a little sister who I loved but she was only a baby. And my mom was really kind while my dad was strict but he was also really nice. I don't remember much. One day some people came to the house and my mom and dad told me to take Sulia, my sister, and run. I knew my dad worked somewhere where he made enemies and my mom worked there too. I think he was a spy." Ruki fell silent and took a drink. Her thoughts were racing back to the day when those people had come. Alot had happened in a very short amount of time and her future had been set on a new course.

OOC: Sorry I was gone for so long. ^_^'

OOC:That's alright, it gave me a break from work.

IC:A sour frown formed on my face, then, I said sympathetically, "Things could be worse." Worse. The word echoed in my head. "Hmm, so I guess you joined TAPIA and they housed you? Or you got money to get a nice, maintainable home with your money? Sorry if I'm being nosy, but I'm oh-so curious to know what a life is like out of spywork.. TAPIA made sure I never had a life out of my job, never getting risky, never rejecting a mission for a meeting with someone..." My voice trailed off. Sighing, I looked up the stained glass window that was settled in the mansion, it was large, depicting a book. But it generally would have looked better if it was dusted off and polished. My glare suddenly made it shine more, but I didn't care. I didn't even know what kind of a mood I was in.

OOC:Maybe if more people post I'll have more to Rp.. bah, only three people are really good in this roleplay, but it'll survive unless something really permanent happens.

She entered as fast as she could, but then the alsrm stopped.
"Huh? That's odd"-She said to herself-"Oh well, easier this way. Let's go Aqua!"
"Marsh!"-He replied.
They ran through a large staircase, when they were going through a corridor, really quiet, they started hearing voices from a room.
"They're there."-She said silently at Aqua.
She counted to three, and then entered the room with a knife on her hand.
"I can't miss him this time. For his sake. But now it isn't time to think about him."-She thought, as she lunged into the room.

[Alana]

"Yeah but I didn't have much of a life. TAPIA started training me not long after the attack. I'm not sure what hapened to my sister. She...Shadow?" Ruki stared at the girl who had entered the room with a knife. She hadn't been accpecting to see her again for a while. "Not again." She sighed. She was becoming annoyed with Shadow interfering in their mission.

OOC: I'm sorry, but I have to leave PC ASAP. I have better things to do than wait for the post of a roleplay which I have lost interest in, better things like Neopets. So I'm leaving the RP in the clutches of Alana, but I won't blame you guys if this horde turns to junk. This account may be abandoned, but I'll be watching this Rp. "I'm going to go outside for a while ok?" Said Ruki heading for the door.

"Right." Muttered Vance heading ito another room.

Ruki walked around for a while thinking. After a few minutes she sighed and turned back to the house. A horrible crash met her ears. She ran but when she got back to the house it was no longer standing. "VANCE!" She shouted. There was no answer. The house had collapsed and she hadn't expected one. A few hours went past adn the police did an investigation. The beams on the house had been weak for a while and had just given out. There was no way Vance could have survived. She was right.

I was in my house, and nobody else was. This meant, I could do anything I could possibly want, but I just sat down and began watching television. Flipping the channel from some gory action movie that was over my age, I listened to the news.

"Due to weak beams, a house has fallen in, nobody was injured, one supposed killed. The one who was killed has been supposed to be a boy, age thirteen (OOC: Did I get Vance's age right?), a clone, name not allowed to be given due to the boy's joining of TAPIA. More news..."

"TAPIA!" I suddenly sat up, remembering my appointment my boss sent me for, the appointment sent to me hours ago, the appointment I completely missed. I had missed the appointment of a mission, and I almost always did, always forgot.

Dressing into my normal clothes (I was previously wearing a sleeping gown, for comfort and thoought of not getting out of the hosue in a while) I raced out of my house, if I was lucky, the boss would forgive me, if I was not, I didn't know, and didn't want to..

[Alana]

One of the police that had come when Vance's house collapsed approached Ruki. "Dear we've found him." Ruki looked up. She expected the worst but you could tell that she still hoped he'd be alright.

"Well?" She demanded in a strange tone. She wasn't sure she wanted to know. She knew and still didn't want it to be confirmed.

"I'm sorry dear. But you must have known."

Ruki nodded slowly. "I knew. It's just part of being a TAPIA member." Her expresion changed to a cold one and she turned away from the house. "I have to go."

"Are you sure you wouldn't..."

"No." She replied without waiting for the woman to finish speaking. She walked off without looking back. A few minutes later she was at TAPIA headquaters. She sighed and rubbed her tired eyes then walked in.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Good... seems the bomb we placed did the work, Aqua."
"Marsh!"-he replied.
She, thinking that she should be proud of herself, she started feeling a little angry and sad. ANyways, she hided her feelings as Aqua looked at her.
"We better get out of here, Aqua, or..."
It was too late. The police down there saw her.
"There's Shadow! He must be involved with this case! Get him!"-the police shouted, pointing their guns at her, and started shooting. She and Aqua started running as fast as they could.

[Munashii]

Since I was rushing, I fell over on a stone and smacked onto the concrete of TAPIA's grand entrance. Struggling back up, I stumbled and ran to my boss's office. "Mister Heryx? Is it true? About what happened to that, er, clone?"

"I'm afraid so. An executive, just on the MOPS mission.. Executive Vance, to be exact." "Oh! Him! I was thinking him the best spy in the agency. And that appointment --?" "Oh, you were assigned on the MOPS mission, and you're lucky that I forgive you, I wouldn't if I wasn't in this mood, so now, you're on the mission."

[Alana]

Ruki walked into the office and stared at the girl in front of the desk. She listened then gave a little nod. "I guess we're partners now." She didn't smile but put out her hand. "The name's Ruki. I'm a TAPIA Spy and also asigned to the MOPS mission."

[Munashii]

"Uh, mine name's Evelyn, you can call me Ev." I muttered queerly. Uh, I guess, you saw.. it? What happened to.. uh.. Executive Vance?" I knew how strange it was, and didn't want to seem suspicious or really know what happened, but I couldn't help asking.

[Alana]

"His house fell on him." Replied Ruki shrugging. "Probable accident. It was probably the work of that Shadow girl. She's been after Vance since we started our mission. But it doesn't matter. We should get going." She turned and left the office.

[Munashii]

OOC: I'm kind of changing over from one account to the other, next time I post, I'll be under the username Spirit, plus the age will be different, you'll notice, I'm not afraid to say that I've been lying all this time about my age. So once again, next time you see be it'll be under a different username. I'll tell you when my other account's name has been changed!

OOC: Oh my god, they found out that the username Spirit was of a banned member, that's why it isn't in the member list, so the whole thing is off... *sigh* I waited soooo long.

IC: Following after Ruki, I remembered I had to cross out 'TAPIA' on my to-do list situated in my notebook. Then a little idea hit me. "Do you like surprises?" I chuckled. Before Ruki could reply, I flipped open my arm and pulled out my notebook and pencil.

[Alana]

Ruki blinked. "So you're an android." She nodded and smiled slightly. "So what are you writting down?" She didn't sound curious but this tended to happen when she lost a friend or relative. In time it would pass and she'd be pretty much back to normal though not entirely. Each time it happened she became a little colder, but that was the world she lived in so it was just fate.

[Munashii]

"Oh, my to-do list." I smiled back. It was my thing to try and cheer people up, but the mood faded when I landed on a page of my brown notebook that had calligrafied words like 'Vance', 'Executive Vance' and 'I heart Vance'. Blushing, I emmediatly turned the pages before Ruki could see the annoying amount of words that were clad in flowers.

So that is it, I thought, A new friend just lost her partner, and now she'll find out I have a certain, erm, [I]liking[I] to Vance. So I had to admit, it wasn't just liking, but I hadn't seen him in the face really before.

OOC: Just notincing, Alana, I think you're friends list is stuffed; there's no room for my name in there, let alone what you say at the ending part, just the little word '(If'.

[Alana]

OOC: I think so. I had no idea there was a limit to that list. Now I have a delema because I might not be able to add any more. That sounded a little cocky to me. :P

Ruki examined the list as the pages were turned. A sly look slowly crept onto her face when she saw the I heart Vance, written on one page. She watched Evelyn blusha nd hastily turn the page. "So...did you, um, like Vance?" She asked putting a slight enfeses on the word 'like'.

[Munashii]

"WHAAT?" I blushed even more as I ripped the page that I tried to cross out the 'TAPIA' written on with my pencil. "What do you mean?" I played innocent even though I was sure Ruki saw it. Maybe, just MAYBE, she would pass on.

[Alana]

Ruki kept the sly look on her face but shrugged. "Ok." She said in a slightly airy tone. "I must have been wrong." There was now a hint of teasing and sarcasm in her voice. "But, what was that? I was sure I saw Vance, written on a page. Perhaps you knew him?" She was a perfesional TAPIA spy and yet still acted just like a kid.

[Munashii]

"Uh, no, no. I think.. that.. uh.. that probably was a part of my... diary section. He, uh, well.." I couldn't think of an original excuse now that I went this far. "What, maybe.. ALRIGHT I ADMIT. I like Vance. See?" I flipped the pages until they landed on the slightly pretty words I had scribbled on.

[Alana]

Ruki laughed softly. "No need to get so upset." But she still had that sly look in her eyes. "But it doesn't matter. We need to get going with the mission. And watch out for a character named Shadow. She's tricky and I'm sure she had something to do with Vance's death. She's been trying to kill him since we started on our mission."

[Munashii]

"Riiight." I growled. So much for the cheerful mood, I thought. "So where to start? My house? Your house? What to look for? What time is it?" The last question fell out of my mouth without my noticing. Then another thing came out of my seperate-minded mouth, "I think I have some files about mutation and such at my house." I quietly muttered.

[Alana]

"We can go to your house first I guess. It doesn't matter. And no need to be upset about what I said. I was just poking fun." Ruki grinned and looked around. "So which way is your house? You can lead the way."

[Munashii]

The direct opposite direction of Vance's." I couldn't help mentioning his name again. "Not a far walk. Just about six blocks or something, if that's short to you." Keeping my eyes in a spiteful position, I began walking down the sidewalk in the direction of my house.

[Alana]

Ruki shrugged and followed. "No it's not far. I've traveled much farther on foot." She turned back and looked in the direction of Vance's ruined home. In her mind she said goodbye to her friend then turned and caught up with Evelyn. "So whhy did you join TAPIA?"

[Munashii]

OOC: Wow a party really can happen when another RPer is online.

IC: "I want to become what all pokemon trainers want to become, a pokemon master. But my father said that I was useless to everything except my pokemon and that I should get out somewhere to do something important but I still wanted to be a trainer so I joined TAPIA to do both, but I haven't told my parents that. My father still believes I'm a slug. My only excuse is that I go out to friends' houses and train, but it's been believed quite well. Boss told me I'm not supposed to tell my family I'm part of TAPIA."

OOC: I'm sorry but it's really late here and I'm tired so I'm going to bed. I'll add my IC tomorrow.

"So if your parents aren't supposed to know your TAPIA, what do you do when your asigned to missions like now?"

OOC: Actually, I saw RPers that signed up ages ago and never posted.. well, whether you're not going to allow Cebe in or not Alana, my advice is that you could kick out the rotten eggs.. (No offence to the flash newbies that signed up and never posted, but it's part of Kiyumi's rules..)

IC: "That's okay Ruki. My father is barely around, I honestly admit I don't know him much either. He seems to disappear into thin air and come back in time to ask me where I've been. Well, I say I'm over at a friends house or something, or at my boyfriend's.." I clapped my hand over my mouth when I said the word 'boyfriend'. The thought had just come, 'What would my boyfriend do if he found my notebook and saw all the little portraits of Vance and the 'I heart Vance' s? Would he think that Vance was a school friend, or what?' "Uh, well, here's my house."

I pointed up a stone wall's entrance and flipped the gate open. Inside was a fairly large yard with very green and dewy grass, nearby was a swimming pool with clean beach chairs and towels ready to use. Near to that was my rather large yet fancily decorated pink house with a red roof. Full size and middle size windows ornated the house as I fumbled my Pikachu keyring for the key that would fit 'that' door. The door I had gawked at almost all day long when I was little, the large one that reeked of natural wood with a fancy handle and and a bronze keyhole.

Shoving the key into the keyhole (which had a genorous keyhole size that could fit my little finger) I opened the door. "My family is wealthy enough to have two maids running around the place every once while." I halfheartedly muttered while drawing the curtains over the couch and letting the light in.

"My room's upstairs. And don't be surprised if you get to see me break something, it's all about getting into those files. I'm sure it wouldn't be as huge or as.. erm... intimidating as Vance's house, or maybe as clean, but this is home for me."

[Alana]

Ruki smiled. "I like your place. Cleanliness has never been a big thing for me. You should've seen my room." She paused, thinking. When she'd had a house, yeah hers was a wreck. Mostly her fault too. And you couldn't see the floor in her room. But that was how she liked it so that was how it was. "So are your parents home?"

[Munashii]

"Nope, not that I kno-" I was inturrupted by my father, who I liked calling Hen, even if his real name was Henry. "Hi, Hen." I greeted in a monotone. "Who's this? Yet another of your friends, of which you have none except a boyfriend?" My dad crowed. He had a thing for having a sour voice whenever he was sqeazing something out of someone, which he did a great job on.

"Uh, her name is.." The first name I could think of was lame, really lame, "Cherry." "Oh, yeah, if you haven't noticed, that's your mothers name. Is Cherry an old school friend?" I gulped, expecting cold stares from Ruki from the lying about her name, she was probably waiting for the next crazy thing I would say.

"Oh, erm, YEAH!" "Interesting. Third grade? I think you had a lot of friends back then." "Yeah, yes, urm.." "Nice, I just looked in the yearbook of third grade for your school, and there was no girl named Cherry. Are you mistaken or something?" "No! I mean yes! Uh, no?"

There goes my life, I thought, I admit a crush to a girl. Then I lie about her name. Now what? "Bye dad!" Was the first thing thatcame to my mouth as I grabbed RUki by the arm and ran upstairs to my room, where I slammed the door and locked it. "Don't.." I huffed for breath, "Worry.. about that. The big thing is when we get to those files."

I looked around my room, expecting to see the tea-green wallpaper and blue carpet floor, and my red sleigh bed and desk with sorted stationary, computer, and coffee maker. Yep, they were all there. But when dad's done with me, I thought, They won't won't be there..

[Alana]

"Why does you dad care if I'm your friend from third grade or from two minues ago?" Asked Ruki quietly. She looked around the room too then back at Evelyn. "Seems a little obsesive doesn't it? Oh, and by the way, my code name is Black Angel so if I have to lie about my name I just say it's Angel." She nodded and grinned because the name didn't really fit her then began to search for the files.

[Munashii]

"Okay," I grabbed my sports climbing hook that was on a hanger nearby and said, "Don't get too shocked." Swinging it and aiming to the fan above my head, I threw it. The climbing hook landed perfectly and swirled around a holding knot. i tugged the rope slightly to see if it was secure, then ran to close the window. "It's top secret, this place, I keep cutouts from the news, files from TAPIA and I once even stole some stuff from the police center when they wouldn't let me buy the files. I worked hard to complete them, they're even in alphabetical order. So we'll be looking in the M section.."

Fixing my gloved hands on the rope, I began climibing it util I reached the fan. There, I opened my arm and took out a screwdriver and undid two nails, letting the hinge inside hinge of my special attic loose. Pushing the board upwards, I looked around the dark and dusty attic. Everything the same as before. "Okay, your turn. Just go up the rope, step on the fan, hold these two places and you're in. All the files are here."

[Alana]

Ruki nodded. She grabbed the rope nad climbed it quickly. Then she stepped onto the fan and soon was standing beside Evelyn. "Under M. Alright then we should find it quickly. After we do we need to move it and get on with the mission. The sooner this is done the better."

[Munashii]

Shoving aside a few little portraits of Vance and 'I HEART Vance's, I finally uncovered the files. "Okay, M. Here it is." I handed the files to Ruki. Ignoring the tramping of my father, who coming up the stairs and yelling something.

[Alana]

Ruki ignored Evelyn's father too and read through the files labled M. She pulled one out and placed it in front of her. "This is the one we need." She opened it and read through everything quickly. "Ok, let's go. Staying here isn't the best idea."

[Munashii]

"Yeah okay. But first we have to find a way to get away from my dad. Oh, yeah, the window!" I said. Then I realized how weird that sounded. "Well, we'll unlock the door to my room but won't open it. Then we jump out the window onto the awning of the backdoor. On the awning, we climb down the water pipe and we'll be in the backyard. There, we'll have two choices: Jump over the two meter high fence or take a cut through my house. What's your pick?"

[Dream Illusionist]

IC: Even though she finished her task, things were quite had, as the police wouldn't let go of her. SHe had to hide in various places, as WANTED posters were all around town.
"Wel, that's the price of killing a TAPIA agent..."- she said to Aqua
Aqua then pointed in the direction of the house, as wanting her to see.
She raised her binoculçars, and there was Ruki, talking to another girl.
"Good idea, Aqua, she might be our way out of this!"-she shouuted, with a saddened look. She then quietly, tried to reach the house.

[Munashii]

I felt adreniline pump into my viens when I heard my father shouting, "Evelyn! You aren't going to worm your way out of this one!" But it the corner of my eye I saw a girl in the distance, almost looking straight at me. I adjusted my cyborg vision and knew exactly who she was now, "Shadow!"

[Dream Illusionist]

"Argh... we were spotted!"- she shouted, alerting the police nearby.
She had to run fast, or the police would get her.
She had an idea, though. She ordered Aqua to get the floor filled with mud, and she ran into the house, as she had important things to deal with. As soon as she entered, Chi made a barrier around the room.

[Alana]

Ruki's head spun round when she heard Evelyn say, "Shadow!" Then several things happened at once. She jumped up and grabbed a Pokeball form her waste then she heard a strange noise. She spotted Shadow and jumped down from the hiding place. Only a moment too late did she remember Evelyn's dad. But he would be in danger any way and she had been trained to make up excuses. Plus that kind of thing just came kind of natural to her.

[Dream Illusionist]

"Ruki, I need to talk with you"-she said quite calmly-"It's about the MOPS mission. ARe you still going to do it, even if Vance is dead?"
"Marsh?"-Aqua gave her a blank look, as trying to understand what she was doing.

[Alana]

Ruki ignored what Shadow said an released her Pikachu. Before another word was said she said, "Use Thunder Sky." Sky nodded and sent a powerful bolt of electricity at Shadow and Aqua. She was an agent of TAPIA and she had no intention of allowing Shadow to escape again.

[Dream Illusionist]

She and Marshtomp quickly evaded the attack.
"Well, if it has to be this way... then ,meet me at the town colosseum for a battle. We don't want to wreck the room."-she said, as if nothing had happened. She wasn't to trutworthy of her words, buyt only Aqua noticed it.
"Well, see you there..."-she said, while jumping off the window and running away.

[Munashii]

I felt my stomach lurch and twist. She had spotted me, and now..? "EVELYN?! What's going on here?!" My father exclaimed. There was no squeezing myself out of that one. "Uh.. hi.. dad.. Well.. SHADOW RAN IN THE HOUSE AND RUKI IS TRYING TO FIGHT HER OFF!" Then I realized I had called Ruki 'Ruki', not her extremely lame fake name, 'Cherry'. "I mean Cherry!" I said. In my head, I was just thinking, Oh my gosh. I am so dead.

Ruki's cold eyes glared after Shadow then she heard Evelyn slip and use her real name. She smacked her forhead then grabbed Sky then Evelyn's wrist. "Too late. Hold on." She looked at Evelyn's father and grinned as Sky jumped ot her shoulder. She waved adn said, "See you later." And vanished along with Evelyn. They re-appeared outside the town colosseum and Ruki released Evelyn. "Sorry about that. I was anxious to get here. Now we just wait."

[Dream Illusionist]

"Oh, so you came!"-She said, with a smile on her face (though they couldn't see it because she's wearing a cape)
"Well, let's get inside, and we shall have our battle. If I win, you are gonna listen to me, and if I lose... I'll remove my cape and I shall tell you who I really am."
Aqua tried to make her say back what she just said, but she wouldn't listen. This wasn't the time for that. She said at Aqua: "I'm counting on you."

[Alana]

"Fine. And we won't lose because we want to win much more than you." Sky nodded.

'And when we beat you you'll never see daylight again. Wanna know why?'

"Because you'll either be put out or stuck in jail for the rest of your life. You're a wanted murderer and I'd be glad to hand you over to the police." Ruki smiled darkly and entered the colosseum.

[Munashii]

OOC: Just to tell you, I'll be off at camp from Sunday to Thursday, so on..

IC: I felt very upset. I was most definitely busted, I was out of everything, what could be next? I wondered that as I walked into the colosseum, feeling a little sympathy for Shadow.

[Dream Illusionist]

"We'll see about that..."-she replied to Ruki's threat-"I have many ways of escaping... as you will know eventually."
"Ok now, the battle is two pokémons max, one out at a time. I choose Chimecho!"-she said, while Chi went to the middle of the arena.
"Just try to beat me!"-she taunted Ruki.

[Alana]

Ruki's smile broadened. "I don't need to try." She tossed a Pokeball into the air and a cream colored fox with nine beautiful tails appeared. This Ninetales was slightly darker in color than a normal Ninetales and for good reason. It was a clone. "Ninetales Flamethrower." Ruki said in a soft voice. Ninetales obeyed. It leapt forward and shot a white hot jet of flames at Chimecho.

I felt a little left out now. Cold sweat was running down my neck for no particular reason, and I just sat in the dark corner and opened my notebook. When I saw the little 'I heart Vance' s, I couldn't help but to allow my blood to run cold. Almost emmediatly, I teared out the pages and crumbled them up, after that, I stuffed them in my pocket, never to see them again, or hopefully, at least. The closest I got to Vance was when he walked by me once, heading out of the boss's office, and he looked mad. Boy, had I savoured that moment, but by the look on his face, I'm sure he didn't. That had happened only a while ago anyway. But did it matter? No, I thought, deciding to take out the little crumpled papers and tear them up until they only resembled a portion of the 'V's, the hearts, and the flowers. Stuffing them into my pockets again, I decided to watch this battle.

"Chi, don't let it! Float high, and start to put a snooze in everyone!"-she ordered
Chimecho looked at its trainer, feeling sorry for her, and obeyed. Chi knew everything that happened to Shadow, soit was willing to help her at all costs. It started floating high, and hypnotized everyone except Shadow.

[Alana]

Both Ruki and Ninetales closed their eyes and waited. "Ninetales use your hearing and sense of smell to attack from now on." She said calmly. "Focus." Ninetales' head was lowered slightly and her paws were fixed firmly to the floor. A second passed then two. Then Ninetales leapt at Chimecho and used Flamethrower.

[Munashii]

Sweat kept on pouring down my forehead, and I tore my hands up and felt it, and finding out I had I fever I felt even more stressed. Heat flooded into my face as I stressfully wiped my forehead. And I knew, it wasn't much time until this battle was over.

OOC: SOrry for the while

IC: Chi simply flew out of the way, with tears in its eyes. He would give anything! Without SHadow even commanding, Chi mentalizing and sending Psychic waves to Ninetails. Chi was ready for anything.
Shadow, admiring Chi's effort, began to cry silently, as no-one would notice.

[Alana]

"You're going to have to do a lot better than that. We train against against psychic Pokemon all the time so there's no psychic attack your little Chimecho can do that we aren't ready for. Ninetales use Return." Ruki's voice was calm and steady. A smile was fixed on her face but she didn't feel very happy. Her mind was racing thorugh strategies and possible out comes for the battle.

Ninetales and Ruki had been friends for a long time so Ninetales attack would be very powerful. The cream colored fox leapt into the air to dodge Chimecho's attack then landed gracefully and moved quickly with her attack.

OOC: Since I have nothing better to do with her, I think my character is gonna cry now.. Could we please move on a little with the Rps plot when this battle is over? I think we're dragging the Rp down a little..

IC: "That's enough"-she said, as she drew Chimecho back.
"I only wanted to see your anger. It seems that it isn't few...
Now, I would like to ask you a favor, if you don't mind."-She said, steadier than ever. Chi didn't want to stop fighting, but it obeyed quietly.

OOC: I intend to and iongravirei you're accepted.

Ruki's expression didn't change. "I don't need to talk to you. Have you forgotten we are in the middle of a battle? Call out your next Pokemon because I plan to take my turn wether you have a Pokemon on the field or not." Ninetales nodded and opened her mouth to release a jet of flames at Shadow.

Marshtomp, standing beside her, spit out an Hydro Pump at the fire, extinguishing the flames.
"Well then, let's do it the hard way. I"-she said, as she removed her cape-"as a TAPIA Executive, order you to stop."-Lillia stand, firmly.

[Alana]

Ruki didn't look impressed. "A TAPIA member wouldn't kill their own allies." She hissed. Fire was burning in her eyes and Ninetales was growling. "Ninetales finish her with Fire Blast!" Ninetales leapt forward and shot a blast of fire that formed a symbol at Lillian. She turned away and nodded to her fox companian. "Let's go."

[Dream Illusionist]

"Let's see then..."-she said, as she evaded the Fire Blast.
She held her cape up, dressed it, then left in the shadows, leaving the other two with:
"You'll see the truth soon enough..."

I gulped and felt a lump fall down my throat. A TAPIA executive.. murder.. another agent? Agent Vance? The awfully cute Vance? I could even feel that I was getting angry.
