Pokemon: Digital Disaster

There’s a new game system and it’s all the rage. The first game to come out on it is ‘Journey Through PokeMania‘. It’s a game that teaches Pokemon trainers all about Pokemon while letting them have fun at the same time. The thing that makes this game so special is that you are actually transported into the digital world. You start out with three lives. Every time you lose a battle you lose a life. When you lose all three lives you are transported back to the real world. Once you are inside the game you pick a starter Pokemon and head off down a dirt path. It is a regular journey and you can save your progress through the first item you choose. (Pokegear, Pokenav, ect.) Every trainer is given a Pokedex. Well the game has sold off the shelves and is the most popular game in history. This popularity is due to the new game system that transports you to the digital world. Well as with all game systems there is a flaw in this one. But it’s not in all of them. Inside ten of the game systems are virus chips. Once activated they will prevent the one playing from logging out again. Ten kids have bought the game systems with the chip in it. Now that the scientists who placed the chips in the systems know that they’ve been purchased they are ready to begin their testing.

“All systems are ready sir.”

“Alright then.“ He pushed a small button. Ten small red lights flashed on a computer screen. “They’re all working. Good. Now let’s see who well these kids fair.”

Personality: Calm and quiet most of the time. Though she doesn’t talk much she is friendly. She is intelligent and a good problem solver. She is brave and is always willing to make sacrifices for her friends.

OOC: Wow I didn't expect so many peopel so quickly. Ok we'll start now but two more people can still join. Hmm seems Eevee's rather popular. I've decided to get a Pokemon I never chose before. ^_^ Oh but Ningi's Worst Nightmare, you stil have to be human to be a trainer. If you want to be a simple pokemon you can.

Ruki walked into her room and kicked off her shoes. She placed her belt with her six Pokeballs beside them and sat down in front of her new game system. It was her first time to try it out on her own. She had okayed one with a friend before and it convinced her to get it herself. She switched it on and opened the disk drive to insert the game. Once it was in place she closed the disk drive and moved over to sit in front of another part of the system. This part was larger and had a small blue lense. "Begin game." She said clearly. The blue lense lit up with light and a second later Ruki found herself inside the digital world.

"Please state your name and choose your description." She thought for a moment. She always used her real name but in the few times she had played the game with her friend she had become fond of a different kind a unusaul descritpion.

"Name Ruki, female, thirteen." She gave the rest of her description and a moment later she was standing outside a house in NewBark Town. The place she had choosen to begin at. Only natural since she lived in NewBark. She smiled and stared walking towards a fimiliar building. Prof. Elm's lab. Once there she knocked and a digital Prof. Elm answered. He looked real. The best part about this game was that because you were inside the game, to you everything was real. That included, touch, sight, smell, hearing, and everything else.

"Hello Ruki. Please come in and choose your Pokemon." While inside Ruki recieved her Pokedex, first Pokemon (a Cyndaquil), five pokeballs, adn a another item of her chose. She took a Pokegear. She also recieved some basic trainer equipment. When she left the lab she was transported to a dirt path at the edge of NewBark. She smiled and started walking. A little while later she looked at her watch and jumped. She hadn't done anything yet but she had forgotten that she promised to play with Summer ,her younger sister, and take her to the Pokemart to help her get ready for her own journey. She was leaving the next day and it meant the world to her. She couldn't miss saying good bye and spending some time playing with her before she left. "I shouldn't have started the game right now. Oh well." She held her Pokegear and looked at it then saved the game and pushed a button. She stood there for a moment puzzled then pushed the button again. "Come on log out." She pushed it again irratated. Still nothing happened. Now she was feeling slightly panicked. "Come on please log out." After several more tries and leaned against a tree her face pail. "I can't log out. This can't happen. I'll miss saying good bye to Summer." Her face went pailer as she the full impact of her situation hit her. "If I can't log out...I may never get to see her again."

OOC: After we're all in the game and find out we're trapped then we'll meet each other while we're traveling. All of the games are interconected so you can meet real people in it. They may not look like themselves but they're them.

I activated the game, and stated name. "Alex, male, 18. Starter Heracross."
I waited for teh game to get my info when i heard a wierd noise comeing from the game. I went ot shut it off the game and it tranported me through to the digital world. "Well if it brings me here it probably ok." I look down and i was in all black.
"Geuss you can't pick your outfit. Oh well," I said as I started walking down the road.
I looked around at the other trainers battling and said, "Man this looks fun, I wonder if they have all he poekmon in this game?"

Ruki looked at the boy her eyes small and rather dull. She was still trying to get over the shock of being trapped. She shook her head and blinked. "I..I got a Cyndaquil. I..I'm sorry. I can't talk right now. Later." She turned and hurried into the woods. MAybe if she got back to NewBark Town she could get help. There was a back up plan in case there was a malfunction in the game. She had read the instructions carefully so she knew what to do. Hopefully it would help.

"Do you think she left on her Pokemon journey again?" Asked a young girl. She was Ruki's ten year old sister and she looked miserable as she leaned against the wall of the kitchen.

"It's unlikely." Replied her father who was coming down stairs. "Unless she intended to go sock footed without her Pokemon." He held up Ruki's belt with all of her Pokeballs on it.

"Then where is she?" Asked Summer her beautiful hazel green eyes shining.

"I don't know." Replied her mother sounding worried. "When was the last time you saw her?"

"Not too long ago. She came in and headed up stairs with that new game in her hand." Said her father. The three looked at each other then one by one they went up stairs again.

"That was weird. I wonder why she left in a hurry? Ruki, wait up!" I ran after her. When I caught up to her, jogging next to her i asked. How do you get out of this game?"

Wow this is going to be fun! Takuya just arrived home from battling friends,He scurried into his room eager to play the game he just recieved in the mail by some unknown person.The package came two days ago with a instruction booklet on how to operate it,Takuya followed the instructions and soon on the word "Welcome" appered on the screen takuya inserted the disk into.As he read in the manual it said a menu would pop-up wanting him to input his name,age,a short brief description of himself,and the pokemon he wished to have soon enough it happened

Whoa! what's happening!? takuya was transfered into a town he was familiar with "Wow so this is New Bark town in the game...Pretty cool" takuya went walking around until he was stopped by a professer
"Oh hey professer elm remember me?"
"Hello takuya please come with me"
"Whoa hey professer let me go i think i know where you live" the professer was taking takuya by the arm into his lab,Professer elm brought takuya to the front of his lab and went out to the back and brought out a pokeball
"Takuya here's the charmender you requested"
"Charmender!? what are you tallking about i have a chari- what!" takuya looked down at his belt and noticed his pokeballs werent there
"Hey what happened to my pokemon!?...Oh..thats right..im in a game the professer doesnt know me and i dont have my original pokemon..wait! that means!"Takuya looked into a mirror the professer had and yelped
"Whoa! i really became a Charizard myself heh heh this is gonna be fun" Takuya looked over at the professer
"Thanks Prof. i'll take the charmender now" Takuya took the pokeball and exited the lab

IC: Ruki ignored him and sped up. She arrived at Prof. Elm's lab. Another boy was with him. It seemed he had chosen to have an odd appearance like her. But she didn't pay much attention. She ran up to Prof. Elm panting. "Yes Ruki how can I hlep you?"

"Prof. I need you to help me with the emergancy log out thing."

"Emergency log out? Over there." He pointed to a PC in the corner. It looked old and out of place.

"Thank you." She ran over to it and switched it on. But her luck was no better. It didn't work. She was beyond panick now. She didn't know what to do. Suddnely she heard a familiar voice coming through the PC.

"Ruki?" It was Summer. "Ruki are you in there?"

"Summer! Yeah I'm here."

"How could you forget?" She demanded.

"I didn't forget Summer. I..I'm stuck. I've tried to log out. Honest. BUt I can't. Even the emergency log out doesn't work. I can't get out."

There was silence. "if this is a joke it's not funny." It was her mother and she sounded very worried.

"Why would I lie? You know I would never miss Summer becoming a Pokemon trainer. That's the reason I came home."

"Ruki." Said Summer. Ruki could hear the worry and pain in her voice. SHe wished so much hat she could leave the cyber world and comfort her sister. "If you can't log out...I will you get back to the real world."

Ruki didn't answer for aminute. "I don't know. But listen, I promise I will. If there's a way in there's a way out. It's the way things are."

"Alright then. I trust you and I know you'll get out. You've never let me down before." Ruki could hear the trust in her sister's voice and this made her determined to get back to her.

"Don't worry. I'll be back soon. I.." But the PC suddenly shut off. Ruki leaned against the wall her eyes shut tight. Her ears drooped along with her tail. "I promise I'll be there when you get your first Pokemon and begin your journey." She finished.

"What are we going to do?" Sobbed Ruki's mother as she sat on the couch in the living room with her face in her hands.

"We'll trust her." Said Summer. "She promised me she'd be there when I became a Pokemon trainer adn I believe her."

Her father nodded. "That's all we can do. Maybe we can call the company who makes that system and the one who made the game. They'll know what to do."

I heard commotion coming from inside i went to go and check it out.Takuya ran inside and looked at the girl who looked like she was going to cry,Takuya gasped at her apperance she must of had the same idea i did but is she a computer program or wat? Takuya made his way over to her and asked
"Hey are you alright and would you mind telling me what is going on here?"

"I am wondering the same thing. But she wont talk to me. What is wrong?"

[Alana]

Ruki looked at the Charizard boy. She almost smiled. "This is a game. You must have realized that or maybe you didn't judging by your appearance. At least my tail and ears were free will." She shut her eyes again and continued, "This is a game where you are transproted to the digital world. All of your controls and everything are explained in the instruction manual. You can save and log out at any time. When you log out you are returned to the real world. As for your first question." She opened her eyes and looked at him. "My sister becomes a Pokemon trainer tomarow. She's looked forward to it for so long and I promised I'd be there when she became a trainer and escort her to the first gym. Then we might travel together or go our own ways. But...but I can't log out. I'm stuck." She closed her eyes for another moment then opened them again remembering the trust in her sisters voice.

"Ugh..."Takuya was unsure on what to make of the situation "Hmm maybe we should explore this place out more and see what we can do.So there's no way to log out now huh? Something could of corrupted the files of the game..what do you guys think?Do you suppose they stuck us in here intentionally?" Takuya stood there puzzeled
"Well we wont get anything done by just standing here,lets go see if we can find a way out"

[Alana]

Ruki looked at him. "You know just becasue I'm stuvk it doesn't mean you are. it's proabaly just a malfunction." She took a deep breath and stood up straight. She perked her ears curiously. "So did you mean to be half Charizard or was it an accident? Seems kind of silly to have a flame on your tail." She wagged her own. "At least mine's nice and blue. It matches my hair." She looked at the digital Prof. Elm who had been watching curiously.

"You know." He said. "There is something wrong with ten game systems. Being part of the game I know. But I don't know much about it. Just let me say this. In the usual game you have three lives. When you lose a battle you loose a life. After you loose all three lives you are transported back to the real world and the game is over. You can just restart from where you saved of course. But if your stuck I don't know what will happen when all of your lives are gone. So take my advice and don't find out."

Ruki gulped. "Good idea. Thanks Prof."

[Tsukasa]

"Hmm your right maybe we shouldnt...Hey are you making fun of me!?" Takuya touched the fire at his tail
"well i thought since this was a game i might as well do something extrodanary!So i thought hey let me be my favorite pokemon and look at me now.The fire part is just kinda cool though" Takuya looked at the ground
"Oh hey let me see if i can log out of the system!"Takuya shouted "Save!" a blue aura surrounded him and then a sound which sounded like a bell went off."Log out!"Takuya shouted again soon after was gone

"Well maybe she is the only one in so far. I got to go back now but good luck on getting out." I walked over to the computer and tried to log out but couldn't. "No it's not possible. This can't happen."

Ruki nodded. "Yeah would you find out what's going on? I don't want to stay here very long."

"There seems to be a malfunction in one of the sysstems sir."

"What do you mean?"

"Well one of the kids that bought the chipped system logged out."

"Hmm I guess the chip was weak. Turn up the power on it. Make sure that when he logs back in he can't get out."

"Yes sir." The asistant fidled with ome buttons. The faintly glowing red dot lit up and glowed brightly like the others. "All done."

"Good. Now let's hope the kid logs back in soon."

Ruki's father slammed the phone back on the reciever. "They don't believe it. They say she must be lying. They say that if something went wrong the back up log out button would take care of it." He said is tone icey. "Nothing like that can happen sir. Please speak with your daughter. Or just wait pationtly. She'll log out eventually." He mocked.

Ruki's mother didn't answer and Summer simply got up and went ot her room.

Hey do you might know where the corepration is loacted at? Maybe i could do something about it Takuya grabbed his belt with his pokemon,strapped it on,grabbed his pokegear and was ready to go "Im going to see if i can make the messages transfer into my pokegear...Ok im ready now" Takuya ran down the stairs and outside of his house he waited for the next message ruki would send

"I have no clue were the corporation is. They don't include it in the instruction manual. They do give you a phone number though. I don't what it is cause I never thought I would have to use it." She sighed and looked at the other boy. It seemed he had been unlucky like her and bought one of the ten systems. "My dad probably called the company already though. I don't know what you can do."

[Stemps]

"Well my family live in another town so they probably dont even know I am gone.
We have to find a way out soon or my little brother will be upset. I am sorry brother."
I look up and watch their worried faces. "Why did this happen to me?" I thought to myself.

[Kogenta]

Rey was not one normally interested in digital games. Ignoring most popularities and trends, most of his time was used with Pokemon, traveling to remote regions. Yet, somehow, Rey now found himself with a digital game he was not sure he wanted to own. As he felt an Umbreon's head nudge his side, he smiled faintly. "Yeah, I wish you could come, too. But, I should not be too long." As he activated the device and raised the lense he told the Pokemon, "We'll go to our Secret Base once I've gotten myself started." He gently scratched the Umbreon's head. "Alright?"

The Umbreon nodded in response as the lense began to glow. "Begin g--" Rey suddenly halted as a strange foreboding paralyzed him. However, the game had already activated.

Glancing uneasily about, Rey issued his profile. "Name, Rey Star. Age, 14. Starter . . . " He paused, recalling his Umbreon. Then, lightly shaking his head, he stated, "Absol." After giving a physical description of his character, Rey suddenly found himself at the door of a foreign house. I guess this is New Bark Town . . . been a while since I've been here.

Glancing down at his digital form, he mused, "It'll probably take me a while to get used to this . . . don't think I like being this tall. Turning to one side, Rey noticed a cluster of players who appeared rather worried. Making no attempt to approach, he instead observed in silence.

[Stemps]

"So it's us three so far. I honestly think we should find the seven and figure a way our of this game. If not who know what will happen. I just hope there is a way."

[Alana]

"Us three?" Asked Ruki confused. "Well anyway. If we're lucky no one else bought the coupt systems. It's umlikely but maybe they won't play them. I'm glad that Charizard boy wasn't stuck. I like having a fluffy tail and ears but I don't know about fangs and fire." She grinned. "But then again I've never bothered to digitize as any less normal than this. So I really wouldn't know."

[NiNGi's Worst Nightmare]

"Look! A freak!" Silver dropped from above and landed on Ruki's shoulder. "Oh, it's just a weird-looking person from the real world. Well, at least nothing major happened to YOU. Look what they did to me! I hate this! My instincts tell me to sniff things..." Silver looked at his paws and sighed. "Well, I DO like the ears and the tail...And the tiger stripes..." Silver jumped off of Ruki's shoulder and landed on the ground. "I don't know you, you don't know me. All I know is you smell like bananas and it's making me hungry. Therefore, by law, I HAVE to come with you."

"Welcome, Charlie," said a voice coming from my new Pokemon game, "Please complete the requested information."

Soon after I entered the information, I was sucked into the game. I found myself strolling down a dirt path, I was in New Bark Town! I walked down the path and found Prof. Elm's lab.

"Hello, Charlie," he said after I entered, "We have an Eevee for you here. I presume it's the Pokemon you wanted?"
Charlie nodded and took the Pokeball from his outstretched hand.

Listening attentively to the group's conversation, Rey quietly made his way around them toward the laboratory. He paused at the door, turning his crimson gaze toward the others as Silver appeared. Then, turning his eyes away, he entered the laboratory. Seeing someone already with the Professor, he chose to wait by the door until she was finished.

Perry smiled as he pushed a game up onto the counter in a shop, "I'd like to buy this please." he said handing over the money. "Here you are." the cash merchant answered putting it in a bag and handing it over.

Perry opened up his game and inserted it in the computer. Patting his Mudkip he sighed, "I'll just start playing, I'll log out right when I get the chance. Meanwhile You might get to sneak a few peeks in the fridge." Perry activated the program and waited. Please state your name. "Perry Noman." he answered. He continued filling out the forms. "Begin game." he said as a light blue disk opened up and he started to feel faint.

Perry awoke in a small town, "It looks like Newbark." he muttered to himself. He noticed something waving behing his back, "Not one of my better ideas." he muttered as he glanced at his blue wavy tail. Walked into Professor Elm's lab he glanced around, looks real enough he thought walking up toward Professor Elm. "What pokemon would you like?" "I'll have a Mudkip. No, Todile." he asked not wanting to replace the pokemon he already had. After getting everything else, he pressed the save button on his Pokedex. After a few tries he asked Professor Elm, "Why can't I log-out?" Professor Elm walked away not noticing what he just said. "I'll try to ask some of the players." he muttered to himself walking up to a group of people, "Excuse me, but am I saving wrong? My Pokedex is having problems logging out."

[Kogenta]

At Perry's words, Rey felt himself involuntarily stiffen. Allowing the trainer to move past him toward the other group, Rey started toward Professor Elm. Moving past the digital Professor without a word, Rey took hold of a Pokenav, registered it, then hesitantly pressed a button.

Now saving . . .

Nothing too suspicious yet . . . Feeling an icy, paralyzing uneasiness, Rey forced his hand toward the "Logout" option. He pressed it. Nothing. His scarlet gaze gaining intensity, he again pressed it. A faint glow surrounded him before fading. Again the logout had failed.

I knew I shouldn't have bought this game . . . He paused. But, I know I'm not the only one who-- Recalling the conversation he overheard, he pocketed the Pokenav. Then there are ten altogether with this "malfunction" in their games. Turning to the female nearby, he spoke.

"The Professor said your name was Charlie. Tell me, can you log out?"

[Alana]

"Great a talking Eevee.Just what I needed." Said Ruki. She looked aound at the group.It seemed none of them could log out. Well at least they wouldn't have to search through the whole game to find them. That thought didn't comfort her much. She looked at the Eevee. Maybe it would be some help. She doubted it though.

[Tsukasa]

As takuya didnt no what else to do he began walking around town Man should i go back? Would i get stuck like the others?But may- Takuya cut his thoughts off and was soon looking at disturbing things surrounding him.The world he was in,his world,was glitching in and out like a video game,Takuya becamse very nervous and looked at his body,he was becoming the charizard kid again
Oh whats going on here this is very strange! Takuya glimpsed at his surrounding one more time until he finally disappered

Ouch! takuya woke up with a headache was looking around,he noticed that he was indeed the charizard kid again and he was sitting on teh ground near Ruki and the other "Hey what just happened!?"

"This is getting really weird. Ten people can't log out of a game. Dounds dumb. But why did it happen in the first place." I thought to meyself.

[DarkCharlie]

"I haven't tried logging out yet," she replied to Rey. "Is there a problem?"
Charlie tried to log out of the game a number of times, she stayed put in the lab. he turned to Rey and shook her head.

[Alana]

Ruki looked at the Charizard kid. "You just reappeared. Didn't you log back in?"

Before he could answer or any more could be said a a man in a white lab coat appeared in front of them. He smiled as he looked at them then said, "Greatings players. I am Norel one of the scientist responsible for the state you are in. As you may already have noticed you are unable to log out. That is because ten over ride chips were put into ten game systems. It prevents the character from logging out and gives them an even more real feel inside the game. Normal players can feel pain, and other pysical things, but they can't feel hunger. That all catches up to them as soon as they log out. They also don't need to sleep. Yes the game changes from day to night on a regular basses. So you will feel hunger and exaustion. And as I'm sure you've realized a normal player had three lives. Each time he or she loses a battle they lose a life. When all three lives arelost they a transported back to the real world and have to start over from their last save area. But when you ten lose all of your lives well, let's just say it's game over for good." The scientist stopped and let that sink in for a moment then continued. "Now there are ways around that rule if you lose all of your lives but you'll have to figure that out on your own. So think you got all that? Wel even if you don't I'll continue. As in the real game you must go on a regular Pokemon journey and eventually defeat the elete four to win. It is the same with you. Withone difference. But you don't need to know about it now. If you manage to make it to the elete four and beat them, then I will tell you. But if you do not complete the game you will never get out. Oh and one more thing. One of your team may be wondering why they are back in the game. Well the chip in your game was waek and allowed you to log out. We couldn't have that so we increased the power. But we became impationt when you didn't log back in. So we had to take you back in. You were a big help. You took a signal from the game with you so we were able to log you back in." Norel laughed then said, "Well that's everything of importance I need to tell you. If you know the game and read the instruction manual you should know anything else you need to know. I may pop in later to see how your doing. Until then." He waved and pushed a button on the Pokenav at his waste. He vanished.

Ruki stared at the place Norel had just been. Appearantly their situation was alot worse than she had realized.

[DarkCharlie]

"Oh, my, god..." Charlie said to herself. "What do you think he meant when he said 'The game will be over for good if you lose all three lives.'? Ruki?"

[Alana]

OOC: *cough* Ruki *cough* :P

Ruki looked at her. "Well. I get the feeling it eans just like what it sounds. If we lose all of our lives, then we'll probably be erased or something. In other words, we'll lose alot more than the game. We'll lose our lives." There was a bright flash and a Cyndaquil appeared. It looked up at Ruki worry in it's eye. "Did you hear what was said Cyndaquil?"

"Cyndaquil." It replied nodding.

Ruki picked up her little Pokemon and said, "I guess this means we have to get through the game. If we don't we'll just wander the cyber world forever."

[DarkCharlie]

"Well, what're we waiting for?" Charlie asked, "Let's get going! Quit waistin' time!"
Eevee burst out of it's Pokeball and nodded, eagerly.

Perry's eyes stared off into the distance solemly, "We shouldn't rush this. If we lose our gaurd during the game at any time, we could be caught off gaurd by another trainer." I'm in trouble Perry thought to himself, Mudkip will have eaten all the contents of my fridge by the time I even leave this place. he thought to himself smirking.

[DarkCharlie]

"I suppose," Charlie agreed, "But we've gotta' go sometime."

[Alana]

Ruki nodded. "Yeah I agree. We shouldn't rush this but we have to start some time. We might as well start now. I take it everyone here is a pOkemon trainer? So then we know how to train Pokemon. It's no different in this game. So we should start training ASAP so that our Pokemon will be in top form by the time we battle the first gym."

[Kogenta]

As Rey left the laboratory, a Pokeball in his hand and a *Potion tied at his waist, he overheard Norel's message. Pausing to listen to the conversation that followed, Rey attached the Pokeball to his belt. Without a glance toward the group, the trainer started toward Route 29. Once Absol is strong enough, I can make my way to the nearest city--Cherrygrove, I believe it was--and purchase some supplies. Until my Pokemon is ready, though, I need to avoid other trainers . . .

Casting his crimson gaze about, Rey cautiously made his way into the tall grass.

[OOC: * - The Potion was the from lab assistant at the game's beginning. If I recall correctly, he gives the player a potion.]

OOC: Um well. I never thought about it but I guess they could. You couldn't stay in the game all the time because you must think about your Pokemon and hunger and all that.

As Kay came home from training him and his houndour went for his room. He thought he would play the new game he baught considering he had all the time in the since his parents were on vacation. Before loading the game he gave his houndour some pokemon food and sat down. When he loaded the game loaded he thought of a cool player ame since he didn't want to use his. He decided to use the name Kane considering it was close enough to his name and sounded somwhat cool. After he gave his name he told the rest of his information and arrived in New Bark town. Kane recognized the place and headed for Professor Elm's lab. When he arrived in the lab it seemed as though everything was completly realistic including his wings and tail. "Here is the Torchic you requested Kane." said the professor handing him a pokeball. "Thanks, I think I'll name it Gabriel" Kane said holding the ball in his hands. Be warned Kane don't loose three battles or you'll be gone forever." exclaimed Elm as Kay left the lab. Kay already read the manuel and knew what happened after he lost three times. Kay saved his game and tried to log out. After trying five times he figured maybe it was just a town glich and would try in the next one and headed off to Cherrygrove.

Takuya looked at Ruki and the other after hearing the man speak "I say we just go around and blow stuff up until we are able to be let free!" Takuya waited for the others to answer "But...maybe not i dont think we should take the risk of being stuck in here like a glitch,But man look at me!" Tkakuya looked at his tail
"I am pratically a pokemon...wait a second!,Charmender come out!" Takuya released his charmender
"Hey little buddy could you turn around for me real quick?"the charmender nodded in agreement and turned around takuya did that as well until both of the tips of there tails were touching each other
"Cool i dont feel heat!maybe..charmender turn around again and use flamethrower!" the charmender once again nodded in agreement and did what it was told,Takuya soon fell to the ground burned
"Okay i felt that" Takuya said twitching

Ruki grinned. "Fire Pokemon or not you can still get burned." She held out a hand and helped him up. "It looks like we'll all be traveling together unless you feel like completing the game solo. So for now I'll go ahead and introduce myself. I am Ruki from NewBark Town. There's no need for any more than that." She wagged her navy tail and smiled twitching her ears waiting for the others to respond.

Kane continued down the rosd his hands on the back of his head. Gabriel was skipping merrily next to Kane looking at the flowers as they passed. Kay looked down the road and farther ahead was a group of trainers who seemed to be traveling together. Kane jumped trying to use his wings and fly but they it didn't seem to work. Gabriel tried to do the same jumping and chirping as if it actually were flying. Kane saw that the group had stoped so he hurried to ask them if the log out glitch happend to them. "Umm I hope I'm not interuting anything but did you guys have a glitch in New Bark. When I tried to log out it wouldn't let me. So do you know anything about it.?Gabriel started jumping again imataiting Kane from earlier

"You're on, Absol!" Rey shouted, casting a Pokeball into the air. A pale red light flashed as a white form materialized. "Time to see what you're made of. Scratch!"

Dropping into a crouch, the Absol's scarlet eyes shifted--following its opponent's movements before springing forward with a Scratch attack. The Zigzagoon hissed, sending a Sand Attack in retaliation.

"Jump!"

Absol immediately changed its course--moving upward rather than forward, over the sand and striking the enemy Pokemon.

"Now finish it!"

Flitting effortlessly into position behind the Zigzagoon, the Dark Pokemon brought down its claws in a finishing blow.

Viewing the fainted Pokemon, Rey turned his eyes to his new Pokemon. "Not bad . . . for a first battle."

Though its trainer gave it no smile of affirmation, Absol allowed itself a quiet purr as it sensed Rey's pleased mood.

There was a rustling in the bushes behind them. Charlie turned around.

"Hey! Wasn't that a Sentret?" she said, "Go Eevee! Use, umm... Tackle attack!"
Her Eevee, who was sitting at her feet ran towards the spot in the bushes where Charlie pointed. The Sentret was knocked out of the bushes. It came running towards Eevee, it's tail wagging behind it.
"Tackle again!" Charlie commanded. Eevee ran into the Sentret. The Sentret fell.
"Wow!" Charlie cheered, "Pretty good for our first battle, hey Eevee?"
"Eevee! Ee!" it squeaked.

"Now where was I?" Charlie said to Ruki. "Oh, yeah. Can I stick with you?"

The purpose of me bringing in weapons is because I am handing them over to those who have the gltched systems (You only lose a life if you lose a pokémon battle. OOC: Alright I see now. But still you can't transfer items and fire arms cause death. It wouldn't be fair to other players if you could transfer items in and out of the game and it wouldn't be right in the real world. You can only have items offered in the game and that's where they stay. Plus I don't want any death by fire arms in this RPG. They're digital. Well sorry we couldnd't be of any help, but maybe next tine we neet we can have a battle." The group of trainers walked out of sight into a field of tall grass. Wow he already has a quilava. He must be increadibly strong.Kay thought to himself. "Well I guess we could take a break for a bit and see if anyone else comes by. Grabriel chirped exitedly and sat down where it stood. Ruki nodded. "Yeah Cherrygrove shouldn't be too far away. I'm going ot battle a wild Pokemon first though. There should be Pokemon all around so all I have to do is look. Maybe we should split up and then meet again in Cherrygrove. Sound good?" Ruki looked into the trees wondering what Pokemon she would run into.

"Hey wai-...uh oh well then" Takuya walked off down the path he chose what a cool place to be you can actually feel,taste,and touch in this game,The other two senses work as well.This place feels sorta weird but in a good way.... Takuya was thinking to himself when a somebody walked up to him

"Hey my name is yve would you like to have a pokebattle with me?" The trainer looked as thought she was takuya's age,with her hand outstretched takuya shook it
"Sure lets have a battle,my name is takuya and this little guy over here is charmender"
"Cool you look like a charmender yourself!Well this is torchic we just began our pokemon journey in this virtual world a little while ago"
"Oh so your not a computer program?"Takuya said while poking her
"Hey quit that! I dont think any trainers in here are programs but so far i dont really know" Yve responded
"Well shall we begin?" Takuya asked
"Yes lets begin!" Yve yelled happily

The two trainers were stareing each other down niether one blinking,A pokemon battle was underway

Ruki walked into the woods. She scaned the dark forest with her bright gold eyes curiously. It looked almost exactly like the forest outside of the real NewBark. After walking for a while she came upon a Spearow. "Hey Spearow how bout a battle?" Spearow turned and looked at her. It definatly didn't look digital. That made it all the better. The Spearow nodded and flew over to the. It landed a few feet away and watched her with it's beady eyes. "Go Cyndaquil!" Called Ruki throwing her Pokeball. Her Cyndaquil appeared in a flash of red light and faced the Spearow. "Cyndaquil Ember!" Cyndaquil ignited the flames on it's back and shot embers at Spearow. Spearow flew up to dodged but got singed by a few passing embers.

As the two trainers continued to stare each other down the pokemon did the same as well the flame that was rising between the two became even bigger
"Charmender use scratch!"Takuya shouted
The charmender dove at the torchic with its claws facing the other pokemon.He made contact with the other pokemon's face dilivering a furious blow of scratchs at the torchic
"Oh no torchic are you ok?"Yve asked it
The torchic had fallen to the ground and was staring blankley at the charmender,it seemed almost afraid of it, inching towards yve to get away.
"come on torchic its ok,use scratch on it two!"
Torchic has risin and ran towards charmender to do the same action charmender had done to it
"Charmender use tailwhip on it!" Takuya yelled
As the torchic dove at the charmender,It quickly threw torchic against a tree with its tail knocking the poor fire pokemon out
"Oh no torchic are you okay?"Yve has ran over to the torchic to examine it to make sure it was ok,meanwhile takuya made his way over to the torchic as well

"Hey is it ok?I'm sorry i didnt mean to go all out on it.."Takuya explained
"Oh its ok this is after all a pokemon battle so it doesnt matter"Yve replied
"But still i feel kinda bad,anyways im sorry well maybe we will meet each other again somewhere in the future till then see ya" Takuya and charmender made their way to cherrygrove city

[Alana]

Spearow flapped it's small wings furiously creating a powerful gust of wind. He sent this at Cyndaquil. "Cyndaquil dodge and use Tackle!" Cyndaquil lept out of the way and charged at Spearow. She jumped and collided with him. Spearow chirped in pain and fell to the ground. "Alright now finish it with Ember!" Cyndaquil landed and shot more embers at Spearow. Spearow struggled to get up but was hurt to much. He fell back to the earth with a chirp of defeat. Ruki walked over to it and pulled out one of her potions. She sprayed it on Spearow who chirped in pain again. Soon it was on it's feet again. He stretched it's wings and chirped gratefully. "Alright go on. Maybe we can battle again some day." Spearow nodded and flew off. Once it was gone Cyndaquil scooped up Cyndaquil and spun her around. "Great job. I know your going to be an awesome battler." Cyndaquil smiled and growled happily.

Perry glanced through the forest looking for a pokemon. Looking, he noticed a red movement behind some trees. Moving behing the trees he exposed a suprised Wurmple. The Wurmple stood up tall, ready to fight. "Go Todile!" Perry yelled releasing his Todile. The Todile, suprised to be out looked around confused. Right away the Wurple attacked with tackle. "Dodge it and use water gun!" Todile tried to dodge it but was too slow. The Wurmple hit it right on. We're going to have to work on that Perry thought to himself.

[Kogenta]

"Now Scratch again! And again!" Absol flashed from side to side, striking the Pidgey with a rain of blows. As the Pokemon's wings began to flap in an attempt to escape, Rey pointed directly toward it. "Finish it! Now!"

With a growl, Absol leaped up--coming down on the Pidgey with a final Scratch.

Inspecting the fainted Pokemon, Rey gave a nod to Absol. "You're improving . . . after only six battles, too."

Pausing as he recalled the battles, Rey mused over a mental list of Pokemon. There were . . . two Zigzagoon, three Wurmple, and now this Pidgey. Turning toward his Absol, the trainer commented, "Then this was your first battle against a flying Pokemon?"

The Dark Pokemon gave a single nod in response.

"Hm . . . then maybe we should find more. Your timing was a little off." A rare, playful smile passed through Rey's eyes as he spoke. Despite being in a virtual world, he still desired to maintain a close connection with his Pokemon. And, at Absol's laughing purr in reply, Rey felt that the attempt was being fulfilled.

Kay still laying at the ground looked at the sky. He couldn't believe how real everything looked and felt. Gabriel was now sitting on his stomach slepping. When he looked up he saw several trainers battling and one who had just given a spearow she had beaten a potion. He picked up Gabriel and stood up. He headed over to the female trainer. "I have a question. id you have trouble logging out in New Bark? Mine wouldn't log out so I wanted to see f it was somekind of glitch." Kay said standing next to her.

[Alana]

Ruki turned to him. "Yes I had trouble logging out. I guess you could say it's a glitch.?" She explained everything that the scientist had said. Cyndaquil jumped into her arms when she was finished talking. "If you want you can travel with me and the others who are trapped in the game." She added smiling at him. "I'm Ruki by the way." She held out her hand. Cyndaquil jumped out of her arms and rested on her shoulder happily.

"My name is Kane" he replied shaking her hand. "Well at least in the game it is. My real name is Kay. I can't believe we are stcuk here though. Who in thier right mind would think of trapping people in the game to see if they win without losing three times. Well anyway I will be happy to join you and your friends while I travel.Gabriel had woken up from her nap in Kay's am and looked up at him. He jump down and now stared at Ruki. walking behind Ruki Gabriel saw her tail and tried to jump and catch it, but failed.

[Alana]

Ruki laughed and wagged her tail. Cyndaquil jumped from her shoulder and stared at Gabriel then smiled and ran up to her. She tagged her then scampered off indicating she wanted to play. "You know the Pokemon, and the world, it's so real. ANd you'd never guess the Pokemon were digital. I guess the only give away would be my tail and ears."

"Yeah, I thknk my wings and tail give it away too" Kay said laughing. Gabriel stopped jumping at Ruki's tail and turned to cyndaquil. He started to follow cyndyquil chirping happily as it ran. "Well it seems that our pokemon like each other. The one thing I don't understand about this world is how could they possibly have made it so we can't log out. They must've went through alot of trouble to do it. I just want to go home now" Kay said sitting on the ground looking at the simulated sky.

Making his way out of the tall grass, Rey paused as he noticed the antics of the two fire Pokemon. At his side, Absol tilted its head slightly--vaguely curious as to the playful actions, though displaying no desire to participate. After listening to a portion of the conversation, Rey approached, interjecting, "As far as I can see it, creating the impossiblity of logging out would be a relatively simple matter. That is, the greatest obstacle to overcome would be that of placing people in the game in the first place. Once that is done, simply removing the 'Logout' programming code or jamming the system with a virus would accomplish the task."

[Alana]

Ruki sat down beside him and looked at the sky too. "Yeah it must have. But some people are just crazy. I'm guessing that scientist is one of those people/ There's no logic in the way they think." She sighed and watched Gabriel and Cyndaquil. "Well I've traveled through Johto before so I ca do it again. It won't be hard. I'll just start training like I did before."

Perry smiled to his Todile, "Great work! You've gone through two Wurmples, and a Pidgey. I think you deserve a break. Pulling out a pokeball, he tried called him back in. Todile shook it's head indicating that it wanted to stay out, "Well, whatever you want." he said happily as he sat down on a rock near a stream.

[Tsukasa]

As takuya walked down a path you noticed ruki and the others,he ran up to them "So hows everyone doing?" Takuya asked while petting charmender on the head,he looked up into the sky and thought to himself Wow looks and feels just like the real world.... He then awaited to be answered

[Alana]

"I'm doing alright." Replied Ruki. "I've only had one battle though. I need to go and find some more wild Pokemon." She picked up Cyndaquil and stood up. "Sorry to leave but I'll see you all later ok?" She raised a hand and vanished into the woods.

K.k. plugged in the game immedietly after she bought it and was anchous to make new friends she entered her info quickly and landed face down in the grass a long with her growlith she picked out, K.k. sat up and looked around her growltih barked playfully."Shh," said K.K. and befor she could turn around her growlithe ran off with a Torchic and a cindaquil "GNARAL!! COME BACK HEAR!!!" Shouted K.K. but to no avail so she ran after him

Kane watched Ruki and her cyndaquil dissapear and a growlithe soon came into view. After another second or too a girl came into view that seemed to be chasing the growlithe. Gabriel ran over to the growlithee chirping happily to have someone else to play with. Kane got up and started to walk toward Gabriel who was now playing a game of tag with the growlith.

Rey's shoulders raised into a partial, passive shrug in response to Takuya's inquiry. Raising a Pokeball, he recalled Absol, saying, "It could be better." The trainer then turned and started for the laboratory of Professor Elm. Hopefully the Pokemon Healing Machine is operational . . . Rey turned his crimson eyes to the Pokeball in his hand. If not . . . He shook his head slightly to dispell further thought.

Pushing open the laboratory door, Rey strode directly toward a machine near the back wall. Placing his Pokeball in an indent, he activated the machine.

"Hello" says K.k., "is that your Torchic?" growlith chirps happily in her arms "I'm alone could i travle with you my name is k.k."said k.k. eagerly "then we both can log out to feed our own pokemon"

[Alana]

Ruki looked back hearing the girl speak. She guessed this girl wasn't one of the ten. She smiled and continued walking. About ten minutes later she came out of the woods carying Cyndaquil in her arms. Cyndaquil yawned and smiled happily. "Those were great battles. But I guess six is enough for one day. Let's head for the Pokemon Center." She turned to Kane and K.K. "How bout we all go to the Pokemon Center together. Then we can heal our Pokemon and get something to eat. I'm getting kinda hungry." Cyndaquil nodded and Ruki's eyes softened. "I guess the hunger glitch makes our Pokemon get hungry too." She said sadly. It wasn't fair that the Pokemon had to feel the side affects of the Glitch Chip too.

"Glitch hm I thought you coulden't feel hunger oh which remindsme!" K.k. said then she loged out

Takuya walked with Ruki and the other towards the pokemon center Maybe we should start to go to the gyms we need to get out of this game "hey do you guys think that maybe we should go and focus on the gyms after we stop at the pokemon center since thats what we need to do.." Takuya looked at the others waiting for a response from them,Takuya patted charmender on the head and looked up to see the pokmon center on the horizon

[Alana]

Ruki nodded. "Yes I think we should head for the gyms after we fininsh healing our Pokemon." She stopped and looked out at the Pokemon Center. A far away look came into her eyes. She remember when she was just starting out as a Pokemon trainer. She had trained in these very woods. Once finished training she had run as fast as she could towards the Pokemon Center. She had stood on this very spot and looked down at the Pokemon Center with her Pokemon in her arms. "It seems like so long ago." She muttered. "And yet this isn't even real life. But it looks and feels and smells so real." Cyndaquil looked at her trainer. She sighed then began walking again

[Tsukasa]

Takuya looked at ruki and she seemed sort of sad "Hey maybe this game could be based on our past or something?" Takuya scoffed at the idea of people watching and recording there every movement they made when they were younger uptill now
"But i think thats highly impossiable"Takuya went up to ruki and gave her a hug
"Dont worry about it,im sure we will get out of here soon..."Takuya made his way through the doors of the pokemon center

[Alana]

Ruki smiled. "Yeah I know." She walked into the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy was talking to some Pokemon trainers at the counter. She waited. When they had left she walked up to Nurse Joy and placed Cyndaquil on the counter. "Hi Nurse Joy. Could you heal my Cyndaquil for me?"

"Of course." SHe picked up Cyndaquil and walked into a back room. Ruki turned to Tamoya and walked over to him. "Who ever made this game must have studied Johto for a long time to get the detail right."

[Tsukasa]

"Yeah most likely,but who in teh world would ever devote thier entire time to doing that?As a matter of fact whow ould have that much time?"Takuya thought to himself for a few seconds until one guy he met early in his adventure popped into his head
"Oh do you guys know bill from the kento region?Well he does major in technology and he did make the PC system we use today,you think maybe he could have something to do with this?"Takuya asked

[Alana]

Ruki shrugged. "I wouldn't be surprised. Who ever made the system was probably in on the whole Glitch Chip idea." She walked over and sat down in one of the chairs. "I think who ever did this probably had another reason for trapping us in this game besides just watching us get through it. Chances are it's a test for what ever they're really planning." She sighed and twitched her ears in annoyance. "When that scientist logs back in I'll make sure I knock him around for making me miss my sister becoming a Pokemon trainer."

[Tsukasa]

"Ohh i forgot all about that..."Takuya sat down in front of Ruki moving his tail so he could be comfortable "Im sorry for that ruki,but if he were to sign back in i'll help you knock him out,how does that sound?"Takuya said joking around
"But hopefully we can get out of here soon i do have plans for myself and they are runing them by trapping us in here.But wait...i wonder,if a day passes in the game does a day pass in the real life as well?"

[Alana]

Ruki grinned. She thought about time and nodded. "Yes. It's in the instructions. Time passes in the game the same as in real life. It's one of the warnings in the instructions. You're supposed to log out every few hours to eat and stuff because you can't in the game. Well you can but it won't do anything. The food'll just vanish." She shrugged. Nurse Joy came back carying Cyndaquil.

"Here you go. Your Pokemon is fighting fit."

"Thank you Nurse Joy." Siad Ruki as Cyndaquil jumped into her lap. She stroked her absently then looked at her Pokegear. "It's nearly eight. I didn't notice before but the sun is beginning to set. I think we should get a room at the Pokemon Center." Nurse Joy listened and nodded. She handed Ruki a room key.

"Enjoy your stay." Ruki waited. She nodded to herself.

"No didgital voice saying you need to save and log out soon. That's been turned off I guess. After it says it too much then your game is saved and you're logged out automatically. I guess it had ot be over ridden. My friend and I had fun testing how long we could stay in the game. We regretted it afterwards but it was fun while it lasted."

"IM BACK" shouted k.k. only to find the others wern't in the clearing. "hm better go to town mayby the others will be thair " k.k. quickly took off with gnaral right behind her of course this silly girl was not looking where she was going so she triped over a red rock "Allright who left a red shiny rock on a foot path"she yelled "hmmmmmmmmm thairs something familier about this rock hey gnarl what do you think?" gnarl sniffed it for a while then he started glowing and growing when this all stoped gnarl was gone and in his place stood a very noble arcanine"wow gnaral how noble you look" as this series of events happened a large sunflora came out of hideing and attacked gnarl "oh no gnarl fire blast!" gnarl did as he was told and the sunflora fell to the ground and K.k. threw a poke'ball at it. it wiggled a few times then sighed marking that sunflora had been captured"hmmmm sunflora..... maby some one will trade a growlith for it" she sped off with gnarl close behind and ran straight in to a girl along with kane "oh sorry are you o.k.?" k.k. asked the girl.

Wandering through the tall grass, Rey toyed with his Pokeball--rolling it from one hand to the other. The Pokemon Healing Machine seemed to function properly . . . if nothing else. As the grass rustled behind him, Rey casually tossed the Pokeball over his shoulder, commanding, "Scratch."

Emerging from a flash of red light, Absol complied--promptly attacking the Pokemon.

As Absol approached Rey's side, carrying its Pokeball in its mouth, the trainer did not bother to glance toward the fainted Pokemon. Rather, he turned toward Absol questioning, "So, what was it?"

The Dark Pokemon tossed the Pokeball toward Rey as it responded with a croon. Catching the Pokeball, Rey attached it to his belt, musing, "A Sentret, huh . . . hm."

[NiNGi's Worst Nightmare]

OOC: I'm back from my "vacation". Can someone give me a quick summary?

[Alana]

OOC: Almost all of us are in CherryGrove and we already know all about being trapped and all that stuff. Me, Kay, K.K, and Tamuya are all in the Pokemon Center of CherryGrove.

Ruki rubbed her head and stood up. "I'm alright." She said smiling. She picked up Cyndaquil and patted her. "I think you gave Cyndaquil a shock though. But she's alright too." Cyndaquil nodded and jumped onto Ruki's shoulder and smiled at K.K.

"Ah you must be Ruki I caught this sunflora you want it?" Asked K.k. "hm i have a feeling ive seen you before."

[Alana]

Ruki smiled. "It's your Pokemon. You should train it. So your K.K. right. Nice to meet you." She held out her hand. Cyndaquil smiled at her and jumped from Ruki's shoulder to sniff the Pokeball with Sunflora in it.

"hm? OH sorry its........... just that.........." Gnarl looked at the cyndaquil Quizicaly "what is it" asks Ruki sudinaly K.k. ears perked the exact same time as gnarl's K.k. looked tword the bush next to Ruki "don't move" k.k. warned She tossed a pokeball at the bush and caught sumething "k letsse what weve got here" she tossed the ball and a growlithe came out "YES" K.k. said a growlithe c'mon ruki take this sunflora ...." k.k. sudenly blacked out

[Alana]

"Hey K.K. what's wrong?" Said Ruki worriedly. She bent down and felt K.K.'s pulse. She wasn't sure if there was anything wrong as she wasn't a doctor but she thought it felt a bit unregular. She quickly ran to Nurse Joy then stopped. "Wait. K.K. isn't stuck here like us. All we have to do is log her out. Um.." She walked back over to her and looked around for her starter object. Once she found it she clicked log out and K.K. vanished.

[Kogenta]

"Absol, was that really necessary?" Rey chided as he made his way through the town.

Walking at his side, Absol responded with a purr of mock innocence.

Sighing, the trainer gave his head a slight shake. "I have no objections to battling wild Pokemon. But, if you want to disturb a colony of Spearow, warn me first."

Turning its head away with an air of defiance, Absol shrugged. Then, after a short moment, the Dark Pokemon glanced back toward Rey, its gaze saying, "The Spearow didn't bother me."

"Yeah, but you didn't get pecked on the head," Rey pointed out, motioning toward a wound on his forehead. The male suddenly paused, his scarlet eyes shifting as they neared a structure. "Looks like we made it to the Pokemon Center."

Raising his hand Rey lightly pushed open the door, allowing himself and his Pokemon to enter.

K.k. woke up aware she had been out for a while went over a few thinge like why was she back in the real world? Ruki must have loged her out.... then she went over her dream she saw Ho-oh comming tword her "hm i wonder what it could all mean woa WHAT TIME IS TI????" K.k. looked at her clock "OMG I'VE GOT TO GO FEED MY GROWLITHES!!"Afterwards she went back into the virtual world to talk to ruki abut her dream

[Alana]

Ruki smiled when K.K. logged back in. "I'm glad you're ok." She then listened to her dream. "Do you like legendary Pokemon or ever had a dream of meeting one? I guess it's a rather pointless question since every kid seems to hope to one day meet a legendary Pokemon and possibly catch it." She smiled again thinking about her wish to meet legendary Pokemon.

"um..ya about that" K.k. proceded in telling in detail her dream to ruki "I read that it can happen... the fainting thing but a dream as detailed as that! well that freaks me out"K.k. shiverd "well i say we get to a gym asap come on!" k.k. sped off and out of sight

[Alana]

Ruki stood there for a moment watching after her then shrugged and started walking. She turned and said, "Come on guys. I think she's right. We really need to hurry up and start collecting those gyms badges." She smiled and hurried after K.K.

[Alana]

OOC: Eevias this is the digital world. In the real world there is a ever so slim chance that you'd see Ho-oh let alone have it fly down to battle you. Plus no powerplaying. ^_^ It wasn't anything serious but it's still powerplaying and it's against the rules. Please don't try to alter the story so much. I don't think the game designers had any intention of having Ho-oh in the game.

K.k. ran thru the woods running place to place with gnaral and rolf her new growlith behind her she made it to the first gym and waited for ruki and the others but k.k.'s impatint nature over came her she rushed in with out thinking to face Falkiner "eep, ummm im going toooo..."K.k. started "No you've been accepted to battle Falkiner proceed" a voice said k.k. approched Falkiner "I'm ready COME ON!"

[Alana]

OOC: I know what you mean. I like Ho-oh too. Oh and this is Johto so it's Falkiner. ^_^

Ruki stopped running outside the gym. "I guess she already went in." Shemuttered to herself. Cyndaquil nodded. "I was hoping to give her soem pointers first but she'll be fine. COme on let's go watch." She patted Cyndaquil and entered the farmiliar gym.

Silver ran behind everyone until he lost track of them. "Hello? Anyone? I have cookies..." There was no response, so Silver started running the same way he was running before until he came to a town.

"Violet City? Cool...I wonder if I can get a badge here..." Silver looked at the ground and remembered that he was an Eevee. "Darn...Maybe I still can. If I can't, I'm calling the Nintendo complaint department."

[Alana]

Ruki walked into the gym and sat down on a bench to watch the battle. After she won Ruki smiled. "Great job K.K." She got up and walked up to her. "I'll battle next but first let Falkner heal his Pokemon." Falkner nodded and left to heal his Pokemon.

"I cant beleve it!!" K.k. said "my first badge and so quick too!!" falkner returned and ruki battled him and of course won i meen who loses on the first badge?? anyhoo k.k. logged out to eat and feed her ranch of growlithe and arcanine

"Yes, Nintendo help line? This is Silver Cooper. I would like to place a complaint." Silver waited as he was transferred to another line. "This is so boring..."

A WEEK LATER

"Nintendo help line. How may I help you?" Someone elbowed Silver in the ribs, waking him up. "You got through. Lucky."
Silver thought for a moment about what he was gonna say. "I would like to complain about--"
"One minute, sir, it's my lunch break." Silver groaned and banged his head against the panel of the video phone.

ANOTHER WEEK LATER

"Back. Sorry if I took a while. Ummm...There were no...parking spots." Silver jumped with joy, then got serious.
"I am a Pokemon tester for a virtual reality game, meaning I AM a Pokemon. Do I get badges too?" There was the sound of gum chewing, then an answer. "If you're willing to fight for 'em. Now if you'll excuse me, my shift is over."

OOC: The moral of this: Nintendo's help line is horribly slow...

OC: Well that's powerplaying but I'll say it's ok cause I feel lazy and don't feel like typing the battle.

Ruki sighed and headed back to the Pokemon Center looking at her new badge with a wistfull look on her face. She smiled slightly then asjked Nurse Joy for a room. Once inside she closed the door and flopped on the bed. She stared at the ceiling then drifted off to sleep.
