Zangoose... the wonder 'mon!

I've decided that Zangoose is my new favorite Pokemon. :3 He's speedy, he's got nice attack stats, and with decent EV training (and the right nature) I could raise his sp. attack to my liking too. But what I like most about him is the fact that he's a normal type. I've never experimented like this before, so it probably seems pretty childish or rudimentary to you veteran Pogey trainers. But just the same, I'm going to try something out here...

Okay, first of all, I need to come up with a good moveset. I want him to have these, most of all:
False Swipe
Thief
HP Ghost
----

I'm still thinking of a fourth one. :P Maybe slash? Might as well make good use of his high attack stat... although I think Return might be a better choice... :( I can't remember.

Anyway, what do you guys think? The HP Ghost is obviously to pit him against ghost types (since their moves don't affect him :D), and thief and false swipe are in there for my convenience. :P I think he'd make a good thief, and his speed and attack would make him ideal for catching new Pogeys for me. Does anyone else feel the same way about Zangoose? I'm just now finding out about him (It seems like every time I play one of these games I find a new favorite pokemon, lol).

Hrm... I suppose you're right. :( Geez, I'm sorry. Although I meant it to be more of a "Who likes Zangoose" thing, it does sound more like a moveset request, now that I reread it. I suppose I'll have to leave it to the Mods to decide this thread's fate. :|

:D Great idea! That way I won't have to worry about finding a Zangoose with the nature I want AND the right HP type! Coolness!

Hm... I wonder if Zangoose can be bred with that move.... goes to check...

Yup, Zangoose can be bred with Shadow Ball:
Sableye --> Spinda --> Zangoose

And I think Crush Claw will be nice, instead of Slash.

Special Attacks should never, ever, go on Zangoose, unless it's a joke.

I like Substitute/Flail/Swords Dance/Shadow Ball the best, I'm unsure of how to get the moves on him, since I'm an online battler, not a breeder, but I'm guessing Sub and Shadow Ball are both from TM's.

Ice, he has no means of avoiding attacks or status with that set, he'll just get OHKO'd.

I think Zangoose NEEDS Substitute, so he has a chance of avoiding being hit if the opponent switches :P
