There's neat trick to have infinite Masterballs:

First- You have to have one Masterball, and another ball
Second- Enter a battle with a shadow pokémon
Third- Make your first pokémon use a masterball on the shadow pokémon.
Fourth-REALLY IMPORTANT! Make your second Pokémon trade places the Masterball with the other ball.
Fifth- You will see your character use a Masterball, and it won't fail, but when you go to the menu the masterball will still be there!

This worked for me, honestly. But maybe only the european version works?
Try it, but save first, okay?

No problem, except for the fourth part! If you forget to move the location of the Masterball to another, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MASTERBALL!!!

No.

Your first pokémon in battle uses it, and then the 2nd changes its location with another ball, and then attack.

You dont *sigh*. Have the first pokemon in your pair use the masterball rite??? Then with your second pokemon, go into the Item selection and switch the Masterball with another, lesser quality ball. The first pokemon will use a Masterball but it will be taken from the switched ball not your single MB.

Giltch: Unlimited Masterballs:
On your turn, use your Masterball on any Shadow Pokemon. Then with your Pokemon, switch the position of your Masterball with the position of any other ball. You should then throw the Masterball and catch the Shadow Pokemon without using the only Masterball in the game.

As soon as you get the Master Ball, you can do this trick. On your turn, have the first Pokemon throw the Master Ball. Then, have your second Pokemon switch the Master Ball with any other ball (using X or Y). Do anything with the second Pokemon. You will catch the Pokemon without fail, and still have the Master Ball on your next turn.

Well Masterballs are guaranteed to get you the Pokémon.

But you can also use it with any ball, so you could use Ultraballs, just by spending on Pokéballs and have one Ultraball (or Greatball) It's less costy

It's basically the Earthbound trick, except you use Poke-Balls. (and man, if you could use LV. enhancing items in battle, you could have LV. 100 Pokemon in a single fight...)

I used this trick with Premiere Balls and Luxury Balls as well. All of my Colosseum Pokemon are in one of those two balls (except for the couple I cought with a Master).

You can use level enhancers during a fight? I'll have to try that.

Snorlax4Eva

just so it is simpler here is what you do(I HAVE used this trick to catch a few shadows)
1.get a master ball or any ball
2. you must have 2 pokemon in your party
3. get into a fight against a shadow pokemon
4.on your turn with your first pokemon use the desired ball
5. on your second pokemon's turn go to Items and switch the place of desired ball with new one using X or Y ie
PokeBalls
Pokeball x5
Desired Ball x?
then...
highlight the desired ball and press X or Y and switch its place ie
Pokeballs
Desired Ball x?
Pokeball x5
6. go back to the selction screen
7. now do your attack or move or switch pokemon ect.
8.you use the desired ball without using any ball

also this only works with Balls. because other items such as healers are used right away so you cant switch them

you get the masterball froms Rui's grandfather
