Usually for me it depends what type my team is missing. Having said that, usually Electabuzz is on my FR team, so Jolteon gets a spot on my LG team for an electric type.

I evolved it into Espeon because I wanted it to get psychic moves. Of course, I made eggs and got Umbreon as well. I value them both well.

i wanted to evolve mine into Espeon, but didn't think i could, and was about to use a thunderstone, but thank heavens i read this b4 i did. espeon rules (btw, did anyone else notice the 1st three letters in ESPeon? i just realized that now).

I evolved mine into an Espeon because of it's Bite, so it can take down other Psychics that plan to knock-off my other Pokemon (past experiences have shown that Psychic attack can really knock down a PKMN's HP ^^).

Well, it all depends on strategy and what starter I choose. If I choose Squirtle, I evolve Eevee into Jolteon, Charmander would be Vaporeon and Bulbasaur would be Flareon. However, i'm not to sure when I would use Espeon or Umbreon. I might use them in R/S

I evolved mine to Flareon, since I don't like many Kanto Fire-types. (Flareon being one of the ones I do like...) Flareon makes a pretty good special sponge, and great to switch in on the ubiquitous fire attack (Flash Fire! ^_^).

i wasn't a fan of eevee until GSC came out and introduced umbreon and espeon. i LOVE umbreon, its design and abilities are just awesome. anyway i usually do have eggs for all of them (in the original i just restarted a bunch of times to get them all), but i really like umbreon the best.
i recently went to pokemon center osaka (nearest pokemon center to me) and bought those adorable pokedolls of umbie and espie. i plan on giving espeon to my mate when i return to the us. <3

man i havent used eevee in awhile... but when i do use it, it depends on the version and my starter. in silver i always get umbreon because he pwns, but in r/b/y i always get either flareon or vaporeon

Espeon and Flareon! I always have loved fire so I would evolve it into Flareon in red, blue, and yellow. But in Gold I would breed and Train all day long until night till I got Espeon!

i use the duplication trick to let me have 6 eevees,n let 5 of them evolve into vaporean,jolteon,flareon,espeon n flareon...n the last 1,i left it be eevee......sweet.....

I'm checking the hour before evolving Eevee. If its 9.01-12.00 then i evolve it into Flareon. If its 12.01-15.00 i evolve it into Espeon. If it's 15.01-18.00 i evolve it into Jolteon. If its even later, from 18.01 to 9.00 i ALWAYS evolve it into umbreon.

I've only ever evolved and trained him/her on Crystal. I used the duplicate pokemon trick on Eevee and got them all. My fave evolution though is Flareon because I like fire pokemon.

The Eevee I receive from Bill, I start training it right away during day time until it's affection towards me grows and all of a sudden evolves into Espeon. Espeon is my favourite out of the Eeveeloutions. And yeah, I put Ditto and Espeon at the day care till an offspring Eevee is born, then I start training that one during night till it becomes an Umbreon. I repeat the Daycare process thing until I get three Eevee offsprings then I use the elemental stones on each of them until I have the set complete. Though Im sure that what I just said, people already have known about this right about now XD

I like to evolve Eevee into Jolteon or Umbreon. They have good stats and I like to have one of them in my teams. Jolteon has a high speed so it is a good sp.sweeper, but Umbreon is a cool pokemon too, it can be used as a tank but I use him as a sp.sweeper, too. Both have good movesets so I prefer to evolve my Eevee into one of them, although getting an Umbreon is a though quest in certain situation, so getting one, if Eevee lost a few times is quite a challange (mine evolved on lv.67 lol).

In any other game besides Crystal, I evolve it into a Vaporeon because I love water Pokemon. X3 In Crystal, I usually evolve it into either an Espeon or Umbreon.

In Blue, I evolve it into either Vaporeon or Flareon, depending on what my mood is, and in Gold, it always seems to end up as an Espeon. I am trying to get an Umbreon, but it's not exactly working.

In my Ruby I evolved Eevee into Flareon cause he's badass.

To evolve your Eevee into Umby in the 2nd Gen you have to max out its happiness and make it grow a level at night iirc.
