Just thought id mention the new pope's been chosen -he's from Germany and will be Benedict XVI
He's 77..personally i thought they were going to choose a younger one, but they want to keep their time in office short ^^;

the papal name becomes the real name...giovanni paolo II will always be known by that, his old name is forgotten. although i'm not a catholic, i respect the decision of the cardianls as much as anyone, though i do believe that his past is questionable. [shifty eyes]

Being pope is not an easy task, mainly for such a senior person... I hope he doesn't find the task too heavy for him... =/

I guess names change depending upon where you live, like on where I live the new pope is Bendicto. But I've seen diffrent similar versions of it.
