Boycott AOL!

AOL used to be a good company. however, that has changed. I used to have AOL. My name was Dylan0729. I changed my password so many times, i forgot what it was. So i changed to a new Screen Name, and for a while, all was well.

Just after the name change, my family stopped being able to afford AOL. We got AIM, instead.(in case that's important).... all this was about 2 years ago...

now, however, they say my Screen name and password are valid, but won't let me check my email, horoscopes, or anything, they say quote(copied and pasted):
This area is for AOL members only. AOL.com provides AOL members access to their e-mail and calendar, plus the latest news, sports, personal finance, TV, music and movie information ... and much more.

Although you have a valid Screen Name and password, you are not an AOL member.(emphasis added)

what happened? we still can't afford AOL, and now my only email address is gone, and AIM says i have mail

this is all to make people download AOL so they can make even more money! well, i'm not buyin it!(no pun intended, at all!)

so then i thought, if enough people boycott it, they'll bring things back to the way they were, possibly better! so who's with me?

And AIM... I dont use any other stuff...
OK they keep sending me CD ****... but who cares?

i know, that's the problem! AIM says i have mail, but aol.com won't let me get to it! they want me to download and use aol via internet to get to my email!
(this also makes it impossible for me to regester at the Oekaki section, but i don't know how to draw on the computer anyway...XP

btw, pika2, how is it possible for anyone to have so many friends, and them actually be friends instead of just names on a list???

Organise a boycott somewhere else. This is unnecessary and it's also possibly slander. =x And PC has nothing to do with AOL, it's your own problem. I'm sorry to hear it but really.
